A Rock Star Story!
Hey, my names Tom and I'm gonna tell you the story of my life. I grew up in a small family, just me and my brother James. Me and James don't exactly get along too well. I like to rock and roll and all he wants to do is read and study to get into college. Now, I think that school is important and everything but college isn't everything. I'd rather chill at a club or play with my band.
This is my brother (like I said, he's always reading). He has a whole room full of just books. What's the point of that? I like to read, but I read good stuff like magizines and James reads junk like fiction books and biographies. I love my brother but i just don't get him.
This is my brothers girlfriend. She's also our maid. Her name is Courtney and she and James have been dating for over three years now. Courtney is the nicest, sweetest, cutest girl I've ever met in my life and I have a major crush on her. Even though I can't stand my brother, theres no way that I'd ever ruin what him and Courtney have... or so I thought.
One day Courtney came over to see James and they were having a great time. Then, James got a phone call telling him that there was an emergency at work. (He works part time at some small buisness). He told Courtney that she should stay and wait for him. So Courtney sat there waiting...and waiting...and waiting.
I was sitting on the couch in the living room and Courtney came in, sat next to me, and burst into tears. "I cannot belive your brother. He said he would go to work and be back soon and that was three hours ago. I wouldn't mind, if thats where he really was, but I called his work and they said that he left hours ago. I can't belive he lied to me!" Like I said, I would never intentionally hurt my brother but I couldn't stand seeing Courtney like this. So I did something stupid.
I kissed her.
Then, the phone rang. I got up to answer it and it was the hospital. It turns out James really did go to work, and on his way home he got into an accident. Some driver was on their cell phone while driving and hit into James. The doctors said that he was going to be fine, he had only some minor cuts and bruises. But I knew he would have emotional pain to last a lifetime.
