Hello, and welcome to part one of "What a Baby Can Do". I want to thank all of the custom creaters and I hope that you all enjoy my story!! My name's Courtney and i'm seventeen. My parents died a few years ago and I've been living on my own ever since. I'm still in high school and I also run a daycare center out of my apartment. I take care of a bunch of kids, all who are darlings, and i have a great time doing it. One day I was reading a story to one of my sweeties and i heard a knock on the door. It was unusual because i didn't have anyone else scedueled to come in for that day. I answered the door and it wasn't one of my normal customers. "Hello, I need someone to watch my daugher, Ramiele. I understand your running a daycare service, am i correct?" I told her that i am and that if she wanted to leave off her child that she would have to fill out some paperwork first. She explained to me that she was in a hurry and had to be at a job interview in less than an hour. I told her that she could leave her daughter here and fill out the paperwork when she got back. I didn't think anything of it and i told her she could go on her way. Ramiele was really a beautiful baby. Everything about her from her aubern hair, her flawless face, and her bright shining eyes made you think that she should belong on television or in magizines. Not only was she beautiful but she was playful as well. She got along great with all of the other babies and it looked like she was having a great time. She got along expecially well with Jake, and they looked adorable while playing instruments and trying to sing together. Then, I heard someone at the door. It was Jake's father coming to pick him up.It was about the time where all of the parents get their children from me. After they left, all of the others soon followed. It was getting late. All of the kids have gone home...except for one. Ramiele was the only on left and it was already ten o'clock. I decided to put her in a crib and let her fall asleep. When eleven o'clock rolled around I started to get very nervous. I was left alone with this baby and there wasn't any way for me to get in contact with her mother. I was staring at the door, waiting and hoping that her mother would come bursting through sooner or later. But then I realized something... Her mother was never coming.
