Although the year 2009 has not ended just yet, I am happy to say that it is about to end on a good note for me. I have found myself blessed upon blessed with so many great people in my life and so many great opportunities and gifts and miracles. In May on my boyfriends birthday, he and I found out that we were having a baby. This may not seem so important to some, but for me it was because for several years I had been told by my doctors that I was unable to have children and if I did, the pregnancy would be fatal for me and/or possibly the baby. The moment I found out at a doctors office that I was 7 weeks along, I was at my happiest but found this moment to be very scarey for I was expecting this pregnancy to be the last miracle of my life before death. But I was willing to keep the baby only because I believed that it was a blessing from GOD and that perhaps this was my opportunity (final or not) to become a mother. In July, my boyfriend and I got married and began to fully prepare for the coming of the baby. The pregnancy for me took a tole on my body; in August I was put on bed rest and was forced to stay on strict bed rest until the baby was born. I was upset at this decision my doctors made but found that this decision was a good one in order to save me and the baby. On December 18, I gave birth to a 6lb 9oz baby girl, whom we proudly named Taylor Lynn Marie. She is my pride and joy and the most incredible and awesome gift from God that I have recieved. This year has gained me two gifts: a wonderful and caring husband who gave me the strength to make it thru the pregnancy when I was at my worst; and a beautiful daughter! I can now say that I am truely happy!
