x-enjoy-x So...here is my House. Its nothing special but it fits me and Brook well. Hi! This is me. Dont tell me you thought I was the girl on the cover? I wish! Im plump, my hairs a mess, i have nerdy glasses, some kind of wart on my face and a unibrow, nice....not. This is my best friend Brook, by the way Im Neeve. We share a house together. Its an amazement we are friends. She is a former model and is devoted to her job as a receptiontist at the one and only magazine 'Vane'. I have a dream to be journalist. So today I was just searching for a open slot or anything when I hit a lucky strike. Brook was perfecting herself before she left for work when she casually said, 'Hey Neeve!, I just remembered that 'Vane' have a slot for a new personal assistant. I guess I could slip the boss a word. It would do yor future career wonders!' I got off the chair and wandered over.
'That would be great! would you really do that for me?' 'Of course Babe!' Brook smiled. It left me in a cheery mood throughout the day. When Brook got back she was standing with a very tall and thin woman.'Thankyou so much Mrs Diesel, for coming to OUR home and fitting Neeve an interview. I promise she is incredibly suited for Mr Diesel's P.A,' Brook gabbled and called me into the dining room. 'Hello. I am Mr Diesel's Wife. Let me start by asking you if you wear those clothes as a normal outfit?' This beautiful woman asked me. 'Erm yes' I smiled confusedly up at her. 'Good, good. No chance of an affair there then!' She said in a supposed to be funny voice. Clapping her hands she exclaimed, 'Wonderful, you start next week. 8 o'clock sharp.' 'WOW, I can't belive it. I, NEEVE BROWN is working at 'VANE' I yelled. 'Calm down. Remember, dont you dare flirt with my husband because he does have a.....history,' She muttered. 'Goodbye Mrs Deisel,' Brook said in a robot tone voice. Why was everyone acting so proper to her?! A week flew by and I was soon rushing into a grand room, Brook was sat at a posh desk and amazing people littered the walls. Yes. It was 'Vane's' Reception room. 'Your late!' Immedietly snapped Mrs Deisel
'Sorry, Sorry!' I gasped. For my first day I just wandered around the vast offices, there were rooms with racks and racks of clothes, rooms with photocopiers and rooms with stages. I was Wowed. This is one of the main models- Amazon Canal. Heres another model. She is actually quite nice. Mischa Ravel. All her shoots are child like because of her sweet face. I caught a glimpse of the most famous model of all time!! Reed Sway. The skinniest and tallest model in the world practicly!. Brook says all she eats is water. Paul Rough is the camera man and I had a run in with him today. He is Not one to be messed with! There was a shoot taking place.
'So I want you to take notes on each models performance, Im not sure who I want for this weeks cover,' He said to me, he looked at me like I was not going to do this job very well. 'What! Paul you can't be sure in that we are being noted by THAT!' Amazon whimpered. 'HA HA! Why that's the ugliest thing I ever saw,' Reed hooted. 'Just get on with your jobs darlings!' Called Paul sweetly. I watched sadly as each of the beautiful tried to out model the other in the shocking ways. In the end Mischa was picked for this monoths cover. It was themed on 'Pink Vanity'---no suprise. At the end she came over to me.
'Hey thanks for dropping inj the good word with Paul. Hes lovely really.' 'Are you sure. Im really starting to think that I really don't fit in here. Everyone is lovely---and Im not.'
Mishca told me I was wrong and I felt better. After my first two weeks I finally met....Zane Diesel. He was the most amazing looking man I had ever set eyes on. 'Good morning Neeve. Well my wife has certainly been severe on me by picking you for the job!' he chuckled. He gave me some work to do and I wandered off. Where ever I went one of the modeld gave me harsh look. It made me feel indecent. Maybe I was. Often, Mrs Diesel would invite me to sit in the spa with her. I was sure it was only because she wanted to feel slimmer and better about herself. One day I just felt so sad I satin the toilets alone. I was hiding. I hurd the models come in.
'Ahhhh! Zane's wie is getting on my nerves. You know I am soooo gonna try and have an affair. OH MY GOD! Can you imagine that ugly new assistant trying it with him. YUCK!' Screeched Amazon. 'YaYa I totally know. What is she doing here. Its madness. She won't last another month.' Agreed Reed. 'Hey guys we should not be so mean about Neeve. I know were all very good looking but we don't have to shou it about rudely. Beauty is card and it must get played by organisation.' Misch snapped. Is that what they really thought of me. I dropped my glasses on the floor. It made me fell better somehow. It was Paris fahion week and i was given a week off as no one would be in the office. I swore to mydelf that I would change my look. I worked out madly... It paid off! Dressing in black made me look even better. Brook cheered me on and it helped soo much! Tying my hair back made it appear less unruley. I brought countless new suits for my start of work next week and I also took a trip to the glasses shop and brought some contacts! Lastly I had to pluck my eyebrows. IT KILLED! So I stood in my room. I thought that my change was fantastic. I almost looked beautiful. What would become of my change? I hoped you like my first chapter. Sorry if it was a little short. I will do a net part soon and hopefully my computer will not die!
