I've been promising a few people that I would post some pictures of our new house in the Oman. I thought all the pictures we had were on our PC, which is still sailing it's way here, anyway to cut a long story short...I found some on the laptop, so here they are. Hope you enjoy them.
Front of the house.
Back of the house.
View of the compound that our house is in.
The pool.
I know it all looks very green, a gardener comes every other day and waters everything all day long so it stays lovely and green, when you drive out of the front gates it's a different story, all baked earth, sand and no grass.

Oh Sally, that is really beautiful!!!! I can feel the sunshine and the warmth and how cool and relaxing the water in the pool feels on a hot day.... Lucky you! Will you be able to redecorate the house or is already fully furnished
! Have you thought about "rebuilding" it for Sims2, it looks like it wouldn't be impossible! Great house! Looking forward to more news from the sunny Oman!

Enjoy the house, luckily you have help to clean it. Eventually you will climatize, and then you will miss it once you are back in England. In a big house like that the biggest work is the floors, hope it is tiles and not carpet. The first floor will be warmer than ground floor for some reason the air at that height stays warmer for longer. I can see what happened to Sam, jumping the wall on the roof, its quite high, poor baby. The water tank on top of the roof, very practical, is it a dome next to it, must look beautiful from the inside??

Hi Sally, it looks like a beautiful place you are living in now! Definately a house to build in Sims2. I was sorry to read about Sam, I know how hard it is to lose a pet
I hope that you are feeling a bit better now.
