Hello and Welcome to the first part of my new series, "Just Another Pretty Face?" I have two other stories- "Design on a Simoleon" and "The True Confessions of Clementyne Whittaker". With much playing around and experimenting, I have finally figured out how to take detailed pictures...yippey! Yes I know, this may seem like just another modeling show. Welcome to Just Another Pretty Face? This is the show where you decide. Tonight we will be meeting the girls for the first time and modeling the first set of outfits. At the end, you get to decide who stays and who goes. Will the final winner be just another pretty face? That's up to you. Let's meet the girls. Our first contestant, Aemi, Is a student at SMU studying to become a fashion photographer. What will it be like for her to get on the other side of the lense? Next up, we have Heather. Heather is a single, smart, sexy mom. She's been modeling off and on since her early teens. How will this experienced momma hold up with the others? Our youngest, Lily, who is only 18 and newly discovering her passion for modeling, is a looker. Will this youngin bring a little drama to the competition? Nena, our oldest, is hoping to add a bit of maturity to the group. She is 32 and has benn modeling since the age of 12. How will the others react to the competition with this veteran? Raytchel, a newly married 25 year old, is sure of her want and need of modeling. She is inexperienced with the industry. Maybe some of the others can give her a boost? Tessa, the most fashion savvy of the bunch, is eager to meet her new housemates and begin stepping up the ladder to the finale. And last, but supposively not least...is Zoey. This smartypants graduated with a 4.0 at SSU with a major in Chemistry. Will the 26 year old with absolutely no modeling experience (or fashion sense for that matter) be able to win it all? Now it's time for the girls to choose their beds. Raytchel and Tessa seem happy with their beds. So does Zoey. I wonder what she's thinking about? The youngest and the oldest choose a bed next to each other. What a coincidence! The girls have got two hours before the photo shoot and that leaves little time for chit chat. The girls did sit down to talk a bit though as to use up the time they did have before the shoot. "So Zoey," Lily sneered. "Why are you in a modeling show again? You have terrible fashion sense and you're obviously not as pretty as the rest of us." She laughed. "I know, right?" Raytchel giggled. "Does she really think she can win this thing? Not to be mean, but it is about prettiness as well as your personality." "Stop it!" Aemi yelled. "You two just met the girl and you are already creating rivalries. You don't know her and you don't know how she models, so stop trying to jump to conclusions." "Thanks Aemi, but I can stick up for myself. I mean, they are right. I have no experience and I'm not pretty. I have no chance." "Don't say that Zoey," Tessa replied. "You're just as beautiful, if not, more beautiful than either one of them. And if you want, I'll give you a makeover, just to prove it to you and to them." "Let her do it Zoey," said Nena. "I know you're beautiful. You just need to let it out." "You guys are right. I'm sorry Zoey. I just needed to boost my own confidence. The truth is, I think you have a really great chance at winning this thing. I don't want to get voted off just for a stupid try at making me feel better about myself. And if you want, I'll even help you with that makeover." "Um...I dunno, well...I guess. Alright you guys can give me a makeover, but tomorrow, ok? I want to try to pull through the first competition on my own." "Hello girls. It's time for your first challenge. Tonight I will give each of you a word. You will have one hour to think of a way to depict this word through what you wear and how you pose... Tessa, your word is...lust... Raytchel, your word is...anger... Nena, your word is...envy... Lily, your word is...retro... Heather, your word is...sadness... Aemi, your word is...defiance... Zoey, your word is...confidence... Okay girls, I'll be back in one hour. Good luck." "Retro??? I wasn't even born when retro was in. Or was I? Wait? What the heck is retro?" "Lust? Come on!" "I'm happy with my word. I mean no I'm angry!!! Haha." "Envy? I guess I could do that..." "Girls. Beleive it or not, your hour is up. If you are ready, excellent. If not, too bad. I hope you all have depicted your word fairly enough. Good luck. First up is Tessa with the wordd "lust". I think this picture portrays lust nicely. Nice choice of clothing too. Nice facial expressions also. Next time, try to position yourself so your left hand doesn't look so big. And next up is Raytchel with the word "anger"??? You don't look angry at all. You're pose has to portray the word as well not just your shirt. That would be a nice shot though, if your word wasn't anger. And now, here's Nena with the word "envy". Are we supposed to be envying you? Because if that's the case, great shot! Your face looks great in this shot. You can see the warm glow of the firlight on your face. Next is Lily with the word "retro". That outfit is definately retro! The pose, a little akward, but it fits. Next up is Heather with "sadness". This would be a great shot if your face was showing. Good job with the dress though. It really looks like you're mourning a loss. This is all we get to see of your face though. Try to look towards the camera next time. Next up is Aemi. Her word is "defiance". Great choice of clothing and pose. You really got the point of this task. Your face looks like a delinquent which I guess is what is needed for this shot, but it doesn't do you much justice. And last, again, but not least is Zoey. Zoey's word was "confidence. If this shot doen't show that you're confident, I don't know what will. I've changed my mind. You Zoey have the best shot in my opinion. Look at that face! Beautiful! Great job Zoey. All right guys. That's it for this competition. Tomorrow, we will be letting one of you go. Good luck everyone and great job!"
