Hello! This is my second series next to Design on a Simoleon. Since this is a whole different kind of story to me, please leave suggestions as to how to make it better. If you want to see more of this story, then tell me so! Thanks to everyone for reading. Happy Simming! :) Let's get on with the story... Clementyne Whittaker was a lost soul, a rusty bolt in the wheel of life. She moped around all day thinking of her past and wondering of her future. The past was not a good thing to think about for Clementyne. All of her life she was an outcast to her family. Shunned for being something they were not. You see, Clementyne always wanted to be a normal child. Happy, friendly, and outspoken. Clementyne had a life long dream to become Chief of Staff. But in her parent's eyes, the perfect child was quiet and private and a woman was not one to work. Of course, Clementyne had never known why her parents were like this, so she ingnored what they expected her do do. She never thought they would disown her. It killed her now that they were dead. She wished she had just listened to them. Maybe if she didn't make them so mad, they would still be alive... Clementyne was getting lonely. She never talked to anyone and her only friend was a dog named Scruffy. Being cooped up inside was really getting to her. She decided that after lunch she would take a walk to clear her mind. She hadn't done that in a while. As soon as Clementyne was through with her lunch, she headed over to the park. She was excited to see what the new park looked like. Well, for Clementyne it was new. The park was actually about two years old. She felt nervous though. She thought that someone might see her that she used to know, someone before the accident. She kept going on her way despite her fears. She knew that everything would be fine. She had to do this for herself. She started walking as soon as she got to the park. She saw many new faces-most younger people. When she was growing up Bluewater was mainly a city for retirees. She had always wished there were more kids in the town. Some that were more like her. Across the pond she saw a man playing chess. He looked nice enough, so she decided to ask if she could join him. She hadn't been social for a while, so she was unsure of how to approach him. She pushed herself to do it though. It wasn't like she was asking him to marry her, she just wanted to play chess. Clementyne walked over to him. "Do you mind if I join you?" she asked quietly. She sat down on the seat across from him before he even had time to answer her. "Not at all," he replied. "I'm Houston Winet. What's your name?" "Clementyne. Clementyne Whittaker." Clementyne was nervous as to whether or not he knew of her last name, but he seemed to go on without noticing a thing. Clementyne was glad of this. She liked Houston the moment he started to talk. She didn't want to ruin it the first time she met him. Before they knew it, three hours had passed and it was time for them both to be getting home. Clementyne had won the chess game which was funny considering she had only played chess once before. She was sad to see him go, but it was time to say goodbye to Houston. Clementyne was so happy that she had made a new friend. She made sure Houston knew how much that meant to her.

Clementyne: "Thanks for the game Houston. I really had a great time"
"Me too Clementyne. I hope I'll see you around" And with that Houston embraced Clementyne in a hug. Clementyne was so happy she had never felt this way about anyone. She was so excited to see what their friendship would bring. As Clementyne drove home, she thought about her day at the park. She was thrilled at her meeting with Houston. He seemed like just the person she could spend the rest of her life with. But, she decided she just wanted to be friends. If she got to close to Clementyne, he might discover her past...something Clementyne was not fond of sharing. She did decide though that Houston would be a friend. She needed someone to talk to and spend time with. Being alone was getting to her. Clementyne relaxed in her bed, once again thinking of the day. She was beginning to think that maybe she should invite Houston over for dinner. She got up to call Houston, but before she could even touch the phone, it rang. "Oh I hope that's him,"" she thought to herself. She picked up the phone..."DAD??"

Sorry it was kind of short, but this is all I wanted to do for the first chapter. I hope you liked it! In part 2 find out why Clementyne's dad is calling her- wasn't he dead??? hmmm....I guess you'll have to wait to find out! Thanks for reading. I hope you've enjoyed the story! Let me know if you want more...

I think it was an excellent beginning. And nevermind the makeover comment. I get so irritated when people tell me I should have made my characters realistic. I hate realistic. Sims should look like sims. Clementyne is lovely just the way she is.
