Welcome to the second edition of Extreme Sim Home Makeover. I am the host, Amy!
This here is Bob. He lives here in the scenic outskirts of SimCity. Here is Bob's house. Let's take a tour and see what he would like done to it. Here is the living room. Bob is still unpacking, and his furniture is really old since he just graduated from college and needed cheap furniture.

Bob: Whatever is done to the living room, I don't care. I would really like though for the house to be a modern styled or something like that. I don't care if the living room isn't that big, I would just like to have a bigger TV.
Bob: The kitchen is my biggest problem. There is very little lighting, and it's really not that big. I love to cook, and I would love to see the kitchen to be expanded. Bob: I really want to get rid of the toilet. I hate the flowers on it! Bob: Here's my office. I'm still unpacking, but I need some shelving for my decorations and books. Bob: Here's my bedroom. It's kinda small, but that's not too important. Like I said before, I mostly want a bigger kitchen. Bob: Here's the backyard. It's not that big, so I don't care if the house is expanded into it. Host: Okay Bob, it's that time of the show. You have to leave. We have set up a reservation for you at the local motel.

Bob: Okay, whatev. I can't wait to see how everything looks when it's done.
And so Bob takes off. Now our crew can show up to begin the work. The crew is finally here! It's time to begin ripping out everthing in the yard. The gardens are out, the shrubery has been ripped out, and now the front steps are gone. We can still get into the house though, but we have to go through the back. But first, we would like to get rid of the garage. The garage is gone. Now, the work can continue! Here's the front of the house. The front has been ripped out and temporary supports have been placed. Expansion starts. The driveway has been ripped out, and we will put in a brand new one soon! The upstairs wall has been ripped out, and so has the roof. We must work quick to get a new roof on! We have expanded on the back, so now the only way in is by our new temporary stairs. We have added in walls around the new area. Wowie! What a huge change! We'll be making more changes to the front too. Changes to the house continue. Now that the house's exterior is near completion, work will begin shortly on the inside, right after the roof is taken care of. The roofing is finally complete! Well, here I am in the empty house on the first floor. Unfortunately, at this time, the building is all just outter walls. There are no walls in the interior. Now, we get to begin putting in the walls and laying out the interior. I'm not standing in the new livingroom. It's starting to turn out really great! The floor plan itself is done. All the walls and plywood part of the floors are in. I'm just heading upstairs now to check it out for myself! This looks absoultely gorgeous how the stairwell turned out! The crew is doing great! I'm sure Bob is going to love the changes we are making.

Well... now that we are done with the walls and basic floor plan, it's time to start the interior design. However, this episode, we are going to change things up a bit. We are going to blindfold Bob and bring him into the kitchen. Then, we're going to have him help us choose the interior for the kitchen.
Host: Okay, Bob. We brought your here to make some small decisions. First off, we're in what will soon be the kitchen. We want you to be able to have a bit of a personal touch in the house by helping us to decide the floors and walls in this room Host: Bob, here are your options for the floors.

Bob: First off, that ugly green tile has got to go. I hate all the diamond styled floors. I think I like the white marble tiles under the green tiles.

Host: Are you sure that's what you want?

Bob: I'm pretty sure. There's just something about it that I like.
Host: Okay, now that you've decided on the floor, you need to decide on the wall covering. So, what do you think?

Bob: Well, I do like the sponge walls, but I don't think I want them here in the kitchen. The wood paneling will not work at all in here. I don't like that. The white and tan colored bricks have got to go too. I like the tiles, and I like the white, gray, and black bricks. This is a touch decision. Hmm... I think I'll go with the white bricks. I don't know though. That might be too much white.

Host: It's your decision.

Bob: I think I will go with the white bricks. The color can be added in the counters and appliances.

Host: Okay then. Now, you're going to have be blindfolded again, and you're going to have to leave.

Bob: Okay.
The walls and floor are installed in the kitchen now. It's time to continue on with the work... The kitchen is finished now! We decided to install a nice butcher's block island, dark oak counters with black granite counters. We also installed a black stove and fridge, and ultra modern tables. Well. After all this great quick process, the crew has slowed down a bit. I'm going to have to get on there case. They should have started the living room and the downstairs bath already! Well, at least they started the bathroom. Maybe they just began work on the upstairs bathroom instead. I guess I was right. The crew has finished installing the floor tile and wall coverings in the upstairs bathroom. It looks pretty nice! I can't wait until the plumbing is installed to see how it will look. Here we are at the end of night five, and the downstairs bathroom floor tiles and wall covering are finished. There's only a few days left to finish the house. It's now late into the afternoon of day six. The crew has sped up in the work speed over the last day. Now, all the downstairs floors are installed and the walls are all painted. Next is to finish installing some plumbing and finish installing carpets and walls upstairs. The downstairs plumbing has arrived finally! The upstairs plumbing has arrived now too! All the plumbing has been installed downstairs, and some nice decorations have been placed too. The upstairs bathroom is also finished. Oh my! The furniture for the downstairs is being delievered, and the upstairs isn't even finished. Here's some of the new living room furniture I will get around to arranging the furniture in a bit. The upstairs is more important right now. The entire upstairs flooring is intalled at last, and all the walls are done too! Now we can worry about getting all the furniture in! The living room is finished. I turned out great! Bob it going to love it, I just know it! The bedroom is complete! It definitely is bigger than what Bob wanted! The upstairs hallway. I think it turned out really well! And lastly, the office. I don't think it is as big as what it was before, but we added in plenty of shelving for him, and a much more sturdy desk. Host: The inside is done. Now, the outside needs to be touched up a bit. First thing- a new driveway needs to be put in. Then, this entrance deck is not very safe, so a fence or railing of some sort will have to be installed, and these rickety temporary stairs have to be replaced with newer ones. Also, the house needs to have siding placed, and some new flowers will have to be put in too. There is still a lot to do! The driveway is done, and the new pavement is also finished too! The new stairs are in, and so are the fences on the deck and the fences were the flower beds are going. Look at the nice stone around the foundation. Now, the siding! The siding looks great! All that's left is the plants The house is done, and Bob will be returning shortly. Here's Bob returning to his brand new home! Host: Bob has taken a tour of his house, and now, I'm going to get his reaction...

Host: So, how do you like how everything turned out?

Bob: It's great! I love it! There is so much more room, and I especially like how the kitchen turned out. I was worried it was going to be all white, and I was really shocked that I was allowed to come and visit during the construction!

Host: Well, I wish you the best in your new home!

Host: That's it for this episode of Extreme Sim Homemakeover! I hope you enjoyed reading it!
