Welcome to another edition of Extreme Sim Homemakeover! Today we're in Strangetown with Jenna Miller. Jenna is currently living alone, however, she is currently enganged. However, her financée is supposed to move in with her, but there is not enough room. Let's take a quick tour of the house and see what Jenna would like done. First off, the entrance way. It's pretty empty and not very inviting. Let's see what Jenna wants done. Jenna: Well, I would really like an entrance that is a little bit larger. Actually, I would love to see this area expanded out more and split into two areas- an entrance and a sunroom with lots of plants if that is possible. To the right of the entrance is the dining room and the kitchen. Let's see what Jenna thinks. Jenna: I strongly dislike this kitchen. I don't like this fridge. All it's really good for is swining on. I would love to have a nice little breakfast nook, and a nice large bay window To the left of the kitchen is the living room. It is not very good for entertaining and feels very crowded. Jenna: I don't mind the living room that much actually. It think it could be a little bit bigger and could use some end tables, but I don't really watch all that much TV. However, if I have children after I get married, I will definetly want it to be a bit bigger. Jenna already beat us to the interior room, which is of course the bathroom.

Jenna: The bathroom is way too small. It was okay when I first moved in, but now it's very crampped. I would love to be able to put on my makeup in here. I also don't like how dark it is in here. I would rather have the bathroom moved to another part of the house with a window. I would like it if I do have to have an interior room for it to be a two story office which could be possibly converted into a nursey if need be.
The final stop in the house is the bedroom. It actually isn't that bad of a size room. Jenna: If anything is to be done to the bedroom, I would like to see a bay window installed and a closet. Other than that, I like this bedroom.
Now that the tour of the house is complete, and we now know what Jenna wants, it's time for her to leave, and for us to begin work! And off Jenna leaves so we can begin work. All of her personal belongings she wants to keep have already been emptied out of the house. The first task is to rip up these flowers and shrubs and begin laying down the new foundation and walls. There! That makes a little difference! The entrance will be a bit bigger, but part of it will be a sunroom too. Besides adding an addition to the front, a small addition will be added to the back to enlarge the living room... ...and a small addition to enlarge the kitchen and add the bay window will be installed off the kitchen. Back in the front, the beams for the outer wall have been put up, just as it begins to pour. So, for now, we will move inside and begin tearing out the bathroom. The bathroom has been torn out, and there is quite a mess left behind. It is really amazing how just tearing out the bathroom has created such a dramatic change. The first day of construction has come to a close. It has been a pretty productive day. The flowers and shrubs were pulled out, and we poured the new foundation for the front of the house and installed the beams for the new front wall. In addition, we were able to tear out the downstairs bathroom. Bright and early the second day begins with the front walls being finished up... ...and the addition to the kitchen is going up nicely as well! The front walls have been completed. and the old exterior and entrance walls have been torn down. We'll return to this room shortly as we have to tear out the kitchen cabinetry before the wall can be torn down. Hmm. This is the last time we'll be looking out these windows. With the new exterior walls off the kitchen fully up, and the kitchen cabinetry out of the house, the old exterior wall can be completely ripped out. The house looks so much bigger inside now! Here is where the bay window is going. Out in the back of the house, which we have been neglecting, the addition to the living room is completely up. The last room we are going to make any additions to is the bedroom. We are going to make the area a little bit bigger so we can create two bedrooms. The foundation has been laid down, and the walls can go up! The bedroom additions are up. With all the additions complete, the new interior walls can go up! Here is the new downstairs layout. The center room is the office/future nursery. BY the kitchen is the new bathroom, and the two new bedrooms each have a closet. Here is what the new two story office looks like. With all the additions, and plans to attach new roofs, a major problems were discovered with the old roof, and it had to be replaced with this new one instead. Back inside, the bay window in the kitchen has been installed. Now, the new kitchen cabinetry can be installed. There! A brand new modern kitchen. A small breakfast nook will finish the kitchen off. On the other side of the house, the new bay window in the master bedroom has been installed, and the new hardwood floors have been installed as well. In the second bedroom, a white carpet has been installed. This way, if Jenna can do what she wants with this room, and if she does have children, it will be easier to design a theme for the room. In the office, plenty of windows have been installed to create a loft and airy feeling. A nice hardwood floor has been installed as well. The doors and windows for the entrance and sunroom has been installed The first room to be finished is the bathroom. Jenna should have plenty of room to put her makeup on in here with all the counter space. One of the last things to do before furnishing the house is to paint/wallpaper the house. These are a few of the possible colors the living room and entrance may be painted. The most likely choice is the medium brown/tan color. The yellow-green color is way to bright for the room. This color goes very well with the floor and the style of the house! In the kitchen, a light colored floor and light colored wall offset the dark counters and appliances. In the master bedroom, wood paneling has been installed. The mostly bright paneling creates contrast because of the dark floor, but the dark areas of the wall also create unity. In the second bedroom, a white paint has been used so that Jenna can decide what she would like to do with this room. Now that all the installing the flooring and painting is done, we can decorate the house! Here is the decorated kitchen. The bay window provides the perfect spot for some plants, and since the kitchen is much larger than before, there is plenty of room of a small breakfast nook. Off of the kitchen, is the dining room. It's not very large, but once Jenna starts a family, they will probably eat at the nook more than in the dining room. The living room is much cozier than before. Although it is not all that much bigger, it feels more inviting and warmer. The office provides plenty of room to work, and a nice sitting area in the upper half for reading or just enjoying the view. The master bedroom is very relaxing looking now. It is no longer a large empty room... ...and the closet makes a nice addition to the room. The sunroom/solarium makes a great addition to the house. With all the windows and lights, people walking by can enjoy the beautiful sight. The final room of the house, the entrance way, it far more welcoming than the original one. The house itself is now complete, well on the inside anyways. Now it's time to move outside where we will put up siding and do some landscaping. And, we have one more surprise after that! This is the new brick that will be used for certain parts of the house. On other parts of the house, this siding will be used. This brick is being used in the back where the living room juts out. The rest of the house will be the white siding. What a difference a little siding and bricks can make to a house. Now, it's time to landscape. A new flowerbed is being built around the front door... ...and outback, a new hilly garden is being built. This garden will be important for our special surprise at the end of the show! Off the side of the kitchen, some flowers and trellaces have been installed. This will drastically alter the outside view from the kitchen. The front flower bed looks great! All it needs now is a little grass, which we'll put in last. Some nice tall trees have been placed in the hill garden... ...and the flowers and grass has been all planted. With the house finally complete, it's time to bring Jenna back home. With her blindfold off, Jenna seems pretty happy. Let's see what she thinks.

Jenna: I just can't believe this is my house! It can't be! It's so beautiful. I love it!

But, this is not it, there's one more thing left that Jenna doesn't know about...
We're throwing Jenna an outdoor wedding in her own backyard.

Jenna: Oh wow! I can't believe it! I have always wanted an outdoor wedding surrounded by beautiful gardens!
Jenna's financée, Patrick, comes over to prepare for the wedding. Jenna and Patrick get married under the stars in their backyard.

That's it for another addition of Extreme Sim Homemakeover! I hope you enjoyed reading it and happy simming!

That is one of my favourite of your creations; it was more realistically sized and had lots of cool ideas \:cool\: ! The only bit I would change is the bathroom window and curtain, but that's only a tiny thing. Anyway, good house!\:D
