Welcome to the 5. chapter of NOIR!
I'm sorry for the big delay, but (as always) I had game problems and to less free time, so I couldn't finish the chapter earlier. I'm sorry.
A big thank you for those, who supported me during I worked on this and the other chapters, I don't know what I would do without you guys.
As always, please rate and give (constructiv) feedback - but please don't forget that I'm not a native speaker - ask me if you want to know something and leave suggestions if you have some! Have fun reading! :D

Aiden loved this: standing under the refreshing jet and feeling the water streaming down his body.
It made him feel real. Alive.
Has he ever felt that well?
He didn't know exactly. Everything was getting better. He was back in the country he was born, but not in reach of his cruel father's hands. Being here in his own appartment, that he had bought with his own earned money, let him feel better than he had felt a long time before. Then Aiden knew when he had felt better the last time - the time he had spent with Hannah. He had missed this gorgeous feeling for six years now. But now he had the possibilities to see her again, to meet her again.
Like he had promised. Finally out of the shower and dressed, Aiden left the bathroom and went through the small hall to the livingroom. He had bought the appartment fully furnished and although the style was a bit too cold and simple for him, he was glad that he hadn't to care about buying the interior. His bare feet walked over the parquet floor and leaded him to the white sofa. Aiden sat down, noticing how comfortable it was, grapped the remote controler and switched on the TV.
He zoned out as he zapped through the cannels - there was nothing what would be worth to watch. He could decide between boring talkshows, one casting show and another one, a lot of advertising and some old movies he already had watched. He pressed the "off" button of the remote controler. His eyes glanced at the round, modern clock on the wall. It was twentyfive to seven.
Aiden's thoughts began walking back to Hannah. He had already checked her address with the phone book - he knew where she was living, he only had to feed the GPS with the data and then he could be on the way to her.
But why wasn't he already sitting in his car, driving to her? He knew why. He was scared.
Photos of the the short time they had spent together laid on the small, white table next to the TV. Their smiling faces laughed into the camera, moments of luck and happiness had been retained.
And Aiden knew it wouldn't be easy to go back to these times. That was the reason, why he was scared. But nevertheless, he had made a decision. He would meet Hannah again, when not today, then tomorrow.
Aiden would keep his promise.
Loud noises from outside let him look out of the windows, but he couldn't see anything. Aiden went outside at the balcony and his bare feet began freezing because of the ice-cold metal he stood on. As he looked down he noticed a long, black limousine that had stopped in front of the house.
"Kayla" Aiden thought and with a smile he moved indoors again. And some moments later, Kayla already ran in his living room, crying his name and before he knew what was happening, she huged him so strongly he nearly couldn't breath anymore.
Then she made a step back and he could see her better now. The first thing he noticed was - of course - that she was a beautiful teenager now. Her silky, black hair fit perfectly to her and one of her green eyes was beaming brighter than the other.
"It's great to see you again Aiden!" Hannah smiled, showing real joy.
Aiden nodded "How tall you are! The last time I saw you were two heads smaller!" Discussing about everything under the sun both sat down. Kayla had been the one who had provided Aiden with information about the family and the happenings in the vampires' world in his homeland.
"So everything new?" Aiden asked his cousin. After six years he knew exactly she was a good authority for everything, if it was gossip or real facts.
Kayla considered "No, I don't think so. Except that everyone is excited because of your arrival."
"And my father?" "Well, he is excited as well..." Kayla muttered evasive.
She turned left and her eyes stopped at the photos on the endtable. "Do still want to keep your promise?" Kayla turned around again, looking at Aiden. "I don't know if that is a good idea."
"Why?"
"Hannah doesn't know you anymore, she forgot everything about you. And well, you know, for us vampires six years aren't a long time - but for human it is. You don't know how she had changed and who are her - " she paused, trying to find the best words "her relatives and friends and so. You don't know if she's still ... well ... living alone..." "That doesn't matter." Aiden meant. "She doesn't know me anymore, so I will act like we would meet the first time. Then I will explain her everything slowly. Don't worry about that." He smiled at Kayla, who couldn't hide her solicitude.
"You'll see, everything will be fine."
________________________________________ Aiden slowly drove his Audi through the silent neighbourhood.
He had reached the correct street finally, the only thing he was looking for now, was the right house number. It was a modern and very cultivated area: New appartment houses and little parks alternated, the pavements were clean and hadn't seen the smallest piece of rubbish. It seemed to be the perfect place for young people and those how still feel young. Aiden's eyes glanced about the white shiny signs that showed the house numbers. Finally he had found the right one: 733
He felt quickening his pulse. "Keep cool" he told himself and tried to relax a bit. But that wasn't easy.
Should he really meet Hannah in the next minutes again? How would she react? Would there be a tiny sign of recognition? Or would she think that he would be a stalker?
He didn't know. And wasn't completly sure, if he still wanted to know the answers for these questions that were swirling around in his head.
Suddenly he didn't felt that safe about everything like he had been during Kayla's visit. Aiden turned the car and drove a short way back and stopped in front of a bus stop, ignoring the "NO PARKING" sign directly behind. Aiden really didn't care about getting a ticket - or two. He even wouldn't get angry if there would be dozens of ticktes under the car's windshield wiper. Not now. He switched off the lights and the engine of the car, opened the door and stepped out.
The air was cold, the first sign of the soon comming winter. It was already dark, above all because it wasn't 8 o'clock yet. Glad about the fact that there were enough street lamps that spent yellow white light, he also hadn't to care about noir. That his fear of darkness would attack him now, would maybe be the worsest thing that could happen. Aiden closed the car's door and made some steps ahead. Observing the house in front of him, he stood there for several minutes. Only in the first floor light was shining, so he deduced Hannah was living there. Although he felt a bit like a stalker, he began concentrate on the windows. And then, there she was.
Aiden's heart took a leap as he recognized Hannah.
__________________________________________ Hannah looked out of the window.
Watching one of thousends of talent search shows on TV had made her tiered, and now, during the break, she had to stand up for a moment, if she didn't want to fell asleep in front of the TV like an old grandma.
She glanced about the street and a person catched her attantion. The one, who stood on the street, didn't make a move; he simply stood there and starred at her.
"Could you come for a second?" Hannah looked over her shoulder to the person who still sat in front of the TV.
_________________________________________ "For God's sake - no!"
Aiden's eyes grew up more and more. The awareness got the shock of his life - and he knew now, what Kayla had spoken about. She had knew it and had wanted to prevent him from this shock.
"That can't be true..." Aiden whispered into the nippy air. But no one answered him, purported the opposite. His eyes followed the hand that laid around Hannah's wrist - a man's hand.
He noticed the way Hannah leant against this man's chest - a sign of trust.
Aiden didn't have to see the man's face to know who he was. Hate exploded in him - rampant, remorseless hate.
His usually smiling lips distorted to a sharp line, his eyes changed to slender slits, focusing on the scene in the flat. And the longer he scowled at it, the more hate came up, like a vulcan that breaks out.
"You stole her."
_________________________________________ "What is?" James wanted to know, loosening his hug and looking outside.
"Can't you see him?"
"Who?"
"Him! The one who's standing there like sessile and doesn't stop looking at hither!" Hannah responded. "Who is standing where?" James repeated and wrapped his arms again around Hannah's slim body.
"Stop kidding!" She postulated and pointed with her right hand at the point where the person was standing. "I know you see him, so could you please take a look and make sure that he isn't a stranger or something like that? Or maybe he lost his way and needs help!" James took a look at the guise that advanced slowly.
He knew right away, who he was. There was no doubt about it.
His stomach cramped, althoug he knew he had nothing to worry about.
It was Aiden. "Okay I'm going outside and ask him, if he needs help."
"Be careful James." Hannah requested and gave him a fast kiss.
"Sure." James simply had to smile as she looked at him, showing her care about him. Damn, he loved this girl so much. He had made so much things to conceal from her he was vampire, and he would do all of these things again. She was it worth. James stepped to the balcony door and treaded the balcony. The wood under his feet creaked protesting during every step he made. "Long time no see, Aiden." James meant loudly as Aiden was only some meters away
Aiden's gait stiffened, he made fists.
"What an honor that you are visiting me, although you arrival dates back only some hours!" Aiden struggled for words. Hate was the correct word for describing what he felt for this man - the man who had been his subordinate for all the time and who was standing there now, on the balcony of the flat of the girl he loved - and will love.
"You goddam little piece of sh-"
"Oh dear Aiden, be careful about your word choice!" James smirked. "You have to know that she could hear us, there are only some meters distance between us. Wouldn't it be sad that the first meeting with her after such a long time would start with such bad words?" Now James had to laugh. "Oh I forgot, she doesn't know you anymore."
"How could you do this James? How?" Aiden snarled at him. "You had known exactly that she is my girlfriend! MY!" James shooked his head. "Nope. Since the day six years ago she has no connection to you anymore. Whatever had happened between you isn't a part of her anymore. She knowns nothing about you. Nothing."
"And the first thing you did, after I wasn't here anymore, was dating her? Or do you want me to believe that you met her coincidentally?"
"I waited two years - so the age difference isn't that big - and then we met. Coincidentally, of course. And she loves me for four years now, Aiden. Your chances to get her back are very tiny, I guess." "Believe what you want to believe!" Aiden roared and turned around. "But you should know I've waited for six years now. One or two weeks more don't matter anymore. She belongs to me." And then he went back to his car, got in and drove away. "He's still a hothead." James thought as he was kept an eye on the silver and black Audi driving away. "He acts like a child that wants something back, that another kid owns now. But this is no children's game." He couldn't see the car anymore so he opened the balcony door and went in. "Accept it, Aiden, you lost. And I won." "Who was that outside?" Hannah asked as James was indoors. "Did you know him?"
James didn't give an answer, he just went to her and embraced her softly.
"Hey, James - what's going on with you? What happened? James?" Hannah lost her smile slowly. James wrapped his arms around her and that with a intensity, he never had used before. "Say that you love me. Say that you will never leave me." James suddenly whispered. His grey eyes showed Hannah that he was seriouse.
"I love you. And I will never leave you."
James nodded. Now he was confident.
_________________________________________ Autumn was getting to its end and the air got colder everyday.
Aiden slowly walked through a - still very unvisited - mall. He wasn't here because he wanted to buy something. He was here, to have the first, right look at Hannah. He arrived at a very expensive looking store and only one look inside was enough to affirm his suspicion. It WAS expensive.
He superseded the memories of yesterday as he opened the doors and acessed the shop. Here was no James who could disturb him. He stepped over the brown, soft carpet. For one second he wondered, what was smelling so great, but as he looked ahead, his head was empty from one second to another.
There she was. Hannah's beautiful smile greeted him as he arrived at the corner and Aiden was afraid that he wouldn't utter a word.
"Hello! How can I help you?"
Aiden had to brace himself that this words don't let him entice him to do something crazy, like start dancing and looking like the biggest idiot of the earth. The biggest idiot, who is in love. "I need something for my...my..."
"Your girlfriend?"
"Well, yes."
Girlfriend wasn't the correct word maybe, but Aiden was glad she had helped him with it. He felt so nervouse he began smiling widely - and forgot to hide his tusks. Too late he noticed what he had done, but it seemed Hannah hadn't seen them. "We have a wonderful, new jewelry collection over here." Hannah led Aiden to a second counter. Shiny and glossy jewels glittered from everywhere.
"Do you have a special idea?" she wanted to know and as Aiden shook his head and denied she rummaged under the counter shortly.
"This is a watch of the newest collection, it's very popular with women. The wristlet is made of pure silver, its size is variable and it's scratch-resistant. The same goes for the clock face." Hannah introduced the product. Aiden looked at the watch. "I don't think she would like it."
Hannah began searching under the counter right away again and put some other jewelry on it. This time it were three necklaces and she explained him every detail again. Aiden was only half-
listening, he was to busy to look at Hannah.
Her gorgeous face, her body, the way she moved and talked, everything of her cast a spell on him.
He felt like he would fall in love with her a second time. But he had also noticed that there was no sign of recognization in her eyes. She spoke to him like to a normal customer. She did nothing that showed she knew him.
For some reason, Aiden was disapointed. On the one side he had known that this would happen, but one the other side, a tiny part of him had hoped she would stop short when she sees him. That a light in her eyes would show him she hadn't forgotten him totally. But nothing like this had happened. "Which of those three would you choose?" He interrupted Hannah.
"Excuse me Sir, but I don't know what you mean?" Hannah looked at him suprised.
"If you could, wich one would you buy?" Aiden repeated. Hannah's eyes went from one necklace to the next.
"The one in the middle." She meant finally, pointing on it with her hand. "For me, it's the prettiest of all." "Then I'll take this one." Aiden told her.
"Thank you very much."
Both went back to the cash desk. "Well, then that are 299$, Sir." Hannah told Aiden as she pressed the buttons of the cash desk. After Aiden had paid she put the little box with the necklace in it into a bag. During she worked she glanced to her sister and her workmate Lisa, that stood some meters away. One look at them was enough for her and she knew they were talking about her customer. "Thank you and goodbye!" Hannah said goodbye smiling.
He smiled back. And suddenly she thought she knew this smile. For one second she got lost in his deep, violet eyes, then he turned around and left the store.
"I know him." it went through her head. "Absolute nonsense." she thought in the moment after. But she didn't manage it to shake off this feeling. "Could you feel the air getting hotter, Cloe?" Lisa asked Cloe.
"And how!" Hannah's sister began laughing. "I thought something would start catching fire!"
Hannah sighed. "You are so silly."
"Because we love good looking, handsome men?" Cloe shook her head. "Look at him!" "I'm sure he's a very kind and charismatic man. Besides, he looks like he would walk on the catwalks of the world. And he has to have money, because otherwise he couldn't buy something here." "Next time try to flirt with him! You know I'm an expert in love things, and I'm sure he likes you very much!"
"Cloe ..." Hannah interrupted her sister. "You know that I already have a great boyfriend. Stop trying to pair me off with guys everytime you think you see a good one. You know that I don't want that." "Yeah, you already have Mr Bodybuilder."
Lisa and Cloe rolled their eyes.
"He isn't very kind to you." Lisa meant.
"The snob won't be a good family dad." Cloe added.
"Nor he is a gentelman."
"Nor a good houseman." "Oh come on!" Hannah had to laugh as she heard this why-is-your-boyfriend-not-a-good-boyfriend-list for the hundredth time. "That's not true!"
"Do you remember Christmas Day last year?" Cloe wanted to know. "He told us that he has no time for the family dinner, because he had to work. But the fitness studio where he works wasn't even open that day!" "I simply have the feeling that he isn't completly honest to you." Cloe crossed her arms. "I'm sure he didn't tell you something about him. I mean, why did lie?"
"What do you mean?" Hannah couldn't believe that James was hiding something. She was sure that there would be a logical explanation for everything.
"I simply mean that he isn't good for you. I care about you, Hannah - and this guy wasn't able to look straight into my eyes everytime we met. That is a sign for a liar."
_________________________________________ It was already late, as Hannah locked up the appartment door of her flat and entered.
Had it been a stressful day? Yes.
Was there something that didn't want to go out of her mind? Yes. The violet eyes of the guy who had bought a necklace today didn't want to go out of her mind.
In her bedroom she searched for some more comfortable clothes she could wear now. Although she liked to wear modern and chic clothes she prefered it comfortable after works.
Hannah was still thinking about the man and why he had seemed to be so familiar as she returned to the living area of her flat. Finally dressed with a warm hoodie and jeans, she went to the small kitchenette, wondering what she should eat now. She was sure that she would have a pizza somewhere in the downs of her fridge, but if she could bear the time she would have to wait until it would be done, was questionable. "What the hell...?" Pizza wasn't important anymore as Hannah looked at the counter of her kitchen.
She began trembling, her heart throbing.
Hannah couldn't move any part of her body, she felt like all her strenght had left it, leaving her behind as a defenceless covering, unable to defend herself.
She couldn't stop starring at the counter, like under duress. Using all her willpower she turned around, her eyes twitched from one side to another.
Somebody had been here.
Scared Hannah looked around, only hearing her heart beating fast and loudly.
She was alone. The one who had been here, wasn't here anymore - was he?
She had been in every room since she was home - except the bathroom. Hannah rushed into the last room she hadn't been before.
She opened the door panicly and bursted into. But the room was empty.
Nobody was in the flat. She was alone. She could feel her heart hammering against her chest as she went back to the counter.
He had been here. But how could he go into her flat? And why did he went into her flat?
Nervouse she looked again at the things that laid on the counter.
There was the necklace the unknown guy had bought today. But it hadn't been the only thing he had left: Six photos and a little piece of paper were placed on the counter, too.
Six photos of her and a guy. Who had a terrible similarity with the man from the store.
And the paper that told her: Try to remember
Confused and with shaking hands she took the little box. It was definetaly the jewel she had sold. The silver metal, the heart-shaped pendant, the way it laid in the box - there was no doubt about it.
"What's going on here?" Hannah muttered shivering.
She put the box back and grapped on of the pictures. She saw herself, some years younger, being hugged by a beautiful boy.
She seemed to enjoy it.
She seemed to love it.
But Hannah had no idea who this boy should be, who looked at her like he wanted to stay this way forever. Thousends of questions appeared in her head from on second to another - Who he was, what kind of relationship they had have, where and why these shots had been taken, and, the mother of all her questions, WHY SHE COULDN'T REMEMBER. "He's the guy from the store, is he?" She wondered and unknown fears appeared. "But why can't I remember of him?"
Hannah was to much in her thoughts to notice that she wasn't alone anymore. She had neither noticed the sound of the door nor of the steps behind her. She didn't noticed somebody was breathing behind her - or that this someone was coming nearer.
A hand was laid on her slim shoulder. With a shrill scream Hannah turned arond and pushed this somebody back - James.
"Since when are you so jumpy?" Laughing he stepped to her. "Hannah it's me!"
Hannah starred at him with eyes wide open, still shoked about Jame's sudden appearance. She couldn't calm down. Then she noticed that the photo wasn't in her hand anymore, it had fallen down. There it lay, between James's and Hannah's feet.
"What's this?" James began scrutinize the picture of Hannah and the boy.
"Nothing." Hannah meant and picked it up as fast as possible, but it was too late. James had seen every detail of it. James eyes got narrow and a big fire blazed up in the.
"He was here, was he?" It sounded more like a realization than a question.
He had suspected something like this would happen sooner or later, but he wouldn't allow that. Hannah belonged to him. And not to Aiden.
And James would stop at nothing so this wouldn't change.
...to be continued...

WHY?! Why do you always cut me off just when I'm so into it?! lol...WEll, I really don't know how you do it. Your work is indescribable, fantastic, realistic. It all seems so real, so right.Everything fits into place, and it has just enough of everyhting to make it virtually PERFECT! The CC, the charachters, the words. How much better can it get? I know the answer; IT CAN'T!

OMG this has got to be the best chapter yet! I have to say that Hannah, Chloe and Kayla look amazing as adults! And James is purely evil! Let's hope Hannah will realise what he's truly like and she and Aiden will get together in the end and live happily ever after!
Overall, your English is pretty good! There are (I think) a few mistakes but they aren't noticeable at all. Well, at least for me and English isn't my native language, too.
OK I'm ranting already. Anyway, your story is fantastic! It's got to be the best sims2 story I've ever read!

Hey, your story is completely magnificent! I love everything about it. I've also been reading since the first chapter!
and so I can't wait for the next part! I'm going to write stories too!
I'm trying to make a name for myself. I absolutely love the arrangement, of pictures, the jewelry box, and note, Aiden left her on the countet. And he's very attractive! James is ok looking too, but I had a feeling he was going to do that to Aiden. I hope Hannah gets back with Aiden. She really turned out to be gorgeous. Well keep on writing, and I'll keep on loving it!

It's me again I'm going to write stories too you know. I hope James gets punnished somehow. He's a meanie!
I love aiden though he's so handsome! I wish Hannah would just remember everything!

When is Aiden going to find out that his father isn't really his father, and that he isn't a pure blood?

It was definitely worth the wait! Please tell us what happens next! Aiden is so handsome, I hope he gets his girl back. That James doesn't deserve her at all! Please, don't leave us in suspense for too long!

Wow I loved this part!!! Your english is getting so much better! I wish James hadn't come home when she was looking at those pictures. Now she probably won't get a chance to read that letter Aiden wrote her.
I can't wait for the next part!!! When you get it finished, would you be able to send me a message or drop by my guestbook please? I'm not on as much as I used to be anymore, so when you post it, I might miss it. Great job as always and a 5.0 from me!!

This is one of my favourite chapters. It would've killed Aiden to have Hannah stare back at him without the emotion in her eyes that she used to have. All I can say to Hannah is: "Drop James like a cold turkey! Aiden is hotter!"
