I would like to make a plea for more artist to make new custom content for the sims 2 along side sims 3, if you are a artist and have enjoyed creating for the sims 2 and could still create for the sims 2 along side sims 3, then please know that you are still very much needed and wanted.

There are so many people still playing the sims 2, either because they have not got the sims 3, or cannot run it on their pc, or like myself have returned to the sims 2 because they enjoy it so much more.

I do understand that not all artist will have the time to create for both games due to many reasons, so this plea is only to any artists who can, your help would be very much appreciated.

I also want to say thank you to you artists who are creating for both games, thank you so much for all the time and work your putting into making everybody happy.

I think you are right. Many people still goes on playing Sims 2, but unfortunately most of the creations are for Sims 3 (I am including my creations also). You are right, we might go on working for both games.
Another matter, I  thanks you for your comment about my shot. You are so kind.

I still create walls and floors for Sims 2. But.... I also am full time care giver for my husband, so sometimes it takes me a while to get things done and then uploaded.

Thank you so much MidnightRose for your comment \:\) I really appreciate that your still creating for the sims 2 \:\) and I do fully understand your situation, and I don't wish for anyone to misunderstand my plea, it is not a complaint against any artists, it's just a plea for hopefully more artists who have enjoyed creating for the sims 2 to know that they are still needed and very much wanted \:\)   and my plea is only if it is possible for a artist to be able to create for both games then that would be wonderful.  Topaz27 \:wub\:

I totally understand where your coming from, Topaz. I have actually been feeling a bit guilty for not making stuff for the Sims 2 much anymore. Granted, I'm not exactly cranking out a ton of items for the Sims 3 either. \:\) But I have noticed a significant drop in new items for the Sims 2, which actually surprises me since so many people still play it. Also, I think that real life maybe taking hold of some. I know it has for me lately. Don't get dishearted though. I don't think everyone is gone yet! \:D

I am staying with the Sims2 til they throw me out, so at least you can redecorate your walls and floors for a new look. I haven't even opened the Sims3 since I got it in early June. Just looking at the Sims and most of the patterns turned me off, the neighborhood is nice looking though. I'm glad I'll have you to download my designs, if you like them, not many people do anymore.  \:D  judi

I completely agree with you on this one, Topaz... I probably won't be playing sims3 anytime soon because I have so much custom content for sims2 (thx to Krysie, and all other fantastic artists!), it would take a lifetime to gain this much stuff for sims3! I cannot afford sims3 (I'm disabled and shell out alot of $ for med's) and, like jsf wrote, I'm also turned off by sims3 appearance, decor and patterns. I've heard quite a bit of negative feedback about sims3 as well, but everyone says the views and landscapes are nice (and screenshots support that) BUT I don't play the game just for views, ya know?
I plea with you, Topaz... plz, artists, continue to help us out with custom content for sims2... we truly appreciate all of your time, effort and work that you put into each item! thx so much!!! \:D ~weezy~

I began making sims 2 clothes again right after sims 3 arrived, I thought that even though they won't be downloaded it will be for the sake of old good times \:D and for those who still play it. I was actually impressed by the huge number of downloads, so I can confidently say that there a lot of people who still play this game. I like playing sims 3, but I like creating for sims 2, so I'll continue \:\)

Hey! Thank you so much for your kind comment on my GB. I'm always happy to know wath people like to have for the sims. Now I'm on holydays, and here I have a really slow internet connection, but I spent those days for making cc for sims 2 and sims 3, but I'm not able to upload them on TSR becouse the connection fall down. Next week I'll put all my stuff here. It's much diffucult to do cc for the 2 games, it requires much time, but I try to make my best. See you soon \:\)

You're totally right \;\) Its sad that quite many artists started creating for sims 3 more just because "its new game".\:\(
But I dont think that sims 2 will be forgotten just like the sims were-its so much nicer then sims 3 (not talking about expansions, just comparing even bace games) \:rah\:

I'll stay creating for sims 2 for a loong time for sure, just because its too hard to create anything for sims 3 (not counting lots and sims) \:D
And just because I love sims 2 much more \:wub\:
