So, I'm done with the first two weeks of college. Getting ready for the third. So far, college is not that much of a big difference from high school. Only that I feel older and treated more like an adult now whereas in high school, everyone babies you. So far, I LOOVE my classes. I'm taking a foreign language class right now, French! This has got to be one of my favorite classes. I've taken Spanish for 3 years while in high school, so going from Spanish to French, is not ideal. However, knowing Spanish DOES help with learning French. So, I'm not always lost in French class. All right, I might've lied about the babying thing in high school, because my French teacher talks to us like babies, because well, we are all babies entirely ready to be molded and shaped into efficient French speakers. She's an amazing and cool teacher, I got a 100% on the first quiz, so obviously, she's doing something right! As for the other classes, I have two seminars, which are incredibly boring, and sometimes interesting. As you've probably read on my page, I am a Graphic Design Major. One of my seminars is geared towards Art Majors. The first day he told us that not all of us are going to be successful lol, so, I just have to hope that I have the motivation to push myself to create art. The other seminar is the one that every Freshman takes. I like this one more because we all discuss topics that are important in society today. It's pretty cool, but I still haven't had the courage to raise my hand and give my opinion lol. Then I have two art classes; beginner courses. I have Drawing and 2 Dimensional Design and Color. I LOOVE the Drawing class. I've managed to get lucky because most of the people in my drawing class are pretty new to drawing. The first time I saw their drawings I was like "Aww, they draw so cute!". But...after the weekend, everyone, I swear became Picasso's overnight! lol. I still hold my own though while in class. People still compliment me :) However, I think after the 2nd day of class, this girl straightup told me that she didn't like me very much, because I drew too good. I don't think she meant it as a compliment, the way she said it, it sounded like she geniunely will not like me because I draw good. But she has said various comments to other people. I think she told one girl that "You look unapproachable." Yeah, weird college students, but nonetheless the college experience so far has been AMAZING! The freedom, the responsibility (i personally like) and the things you learn while in college is something you CANNOT pass up.
