**Last time Jose and Parthenope retreated away from Greece and in to the Philippines to try and live a normal life but Parthenope's brother took her away. A local diwata offered her help, but will Jose ever get his wife back?
"Flowers?" Jose whispered as he found himself lying in the middle of a meadow.
The last thing Jose remembered was that strange green light had enveloped him and everything went black.
Did he just dreamt of Maria Makiling because of his exhaustion in trying to save Parthenope?

Then a wave of water from the lake and rose and as the water returned back to the lake, a strange and menacing looking figure appeared before Jose.
"Well..well...look who made it to the flowery meadow of Anthemosa."he snarled
"This skinny little man? This is Parthenope's husband? And why are you here? How did you get here? This is not a place for mortals."mocked Achelos.
"Anthemosa?"whispered Jose as he started to get up. It was siren's island. He did make it to where Parthenope lived and if he was right, the person floating before him must be none other than Achelos, Parthenope's older brother. "I am here..to see my wife..Is she okay? What did you do to her?"Jose demanded nervously. He had no idea how to approach Achelos. All he wants is to know that Parthenope is fine. He breathed in and tried to keep his cool. He musnt show Achelos that he's afraid. Achelos landed in the ground then laughed.
''And how do you plan to do that? Do you know that I can just drown you in that lake? Or turn you into a tree? The nerve of you showing yourself up here. Someone like ou doesnt deserve my sister."he told Jose.
"But a mortal like me got here somehow didn't I? From the philippines to Greece..." said Jose firmly .
Achelos then stopped laughing.
''Yes..somehow you made it here and i have to hand you that.you must prove yourself to me first."he grumbled.
With a gesture a large jar and a blue pitcher appeared.
"Fill that jar with water from the lake using only that pitcher. Do it for about an hour and if you manage to do so perhaps you can see her." he ordered.
As soon as Achelos disappeared, Jose quickly inspected the jars. Upon closer inspection he realized that the pitcher had holes in it. It was impossible to fill the jar using that pitcher! Jose siged as he tried to think. Then he remembered MAria Makiling and her jewel. Jose the breathed in and tried what Maria told him. After rubbing the jewel, a blinding light started to appear before him. Then before his very eyes a beautiful yet strangely dressed woman appeared before.
"Where am I?" blurted the woman before him.
Jose then quickly explained his situation, his wife,of Achelos and Maria MAkiling.
The lady listened carefully and pitied Jose.
She didn't want to mess with another immortal's affairs but since Maria was a good friend of hers and that she remembered how annoying Achelos was as MAria's suitor, she decided to help.
"Um..what are you anyway?" asked Jose as he noted the way the lady dressed. The lady simple chuckled.
"I am a dalakitnon..a kind of faerie and friend to Maria. You may know me as Marikit." smiled the faerie.
"Marikit..how many kinds of faeries are there?"asked the curious Jose as Marikit approached the pitcher.
"A lot...Just as humans have races, asians, europeans and whatever, we too have races and kingdoms and rulers...europeans have elves, dwarves, gnomes, we here have tamawos, enkantos...I am a dalakitnon princess." she beamed as she pointed at her tiara.
With a point of her finger a swarm of bees suddenly appeared before them. Jose was nervous but Marikit just smiled at him to assure him it was okay. Then the bees started to surround the pitcher. Jose realized the bees where filling the holes with wax. After a few seconds Marikit quickly urged Jose.
"Quick fill the jar up. We need to remove the wax after you are done so Achelos wont know." she instructed.
Jose did as that and quickly ran back and forth from the lake to the jug to fill it up.
After JOse completed the task, Marikit quickly ordered the bees toremove the wax.
"There you're done..." said Marikit as Jose beamed.
"How can I...?"started Jose when Marikit hyped in.
"Never say thank you to my kind dear, because when you do, you will owe me...for me though i dont want anything but to imagine Achelos' face when you have done the task..my bees though...they are tired and hungry..."
Then Jose remembered the honey given to him by MAria. He quickly offered it to Marikit as Marikit graciously accepted.
"HOw wil you go home since we're in Greece?"inquired Jose.
"There's a portal here somewhere I'll find my way dear dont worry. Good luck with your wife, dear.i sense his presence his near...I've to go." with those words Marikit disappeared.
And as if in on cue, Achelos appeared. Jose presented to him the jar and Achelos growled in anger.
Achelos wasnt yet done, this time he pointed a hill and he wanted it to be cleared by sunset since he had some business in the mainland to attend to. Jose swallowed hard, it was impossible but the god merely laughed then left Jose. Jose took a deep breathe as it started to rain. He quickly pulled out the jewel and rubbed it once again.
"Hope it works..."he whispered as a large hairy creature appeared before him.
Jose tried his best not to be frightened. He was unsure what was before him. The creature was tall, dark and hairy. Jose was sure that the creature was not a faerie. Then he recalled his grandmother's stories that the creature was a Kapre, a tree dwelling shapeshifter who loves cigars.
"What are you staring at me boy?"he growled at Jose as Jose explained his situation while trying to remain calm. Then Jose showed the jewel tha Maria gave him and a tobacco to hopefully appease him.
The kapre laughed as he picked the tobacco.
"Maria knows my taste.."he smiled as he gave a stretch.
"Maria is still pining for that human lover of hers eh? i guess she wanted to help you since you remind her of him." smiled the Kapre as he looked at the hill.
"That's all ? I can clear that in a jiffy!" boasted the Kapre.
He signaled Jose to stand back then started to grow in size. Soon he was even larger than the hill and started to pick on the trees like they were tiny flowers. He cleared the hill in no time. After that the Kapre bid Jose good luck and decided to find the portal somewhere to return home.

**authoress' note:
I used big foot since big foot looks a lot like a Kapre to me i think..
It was almost sunset and once again Achelos returned to check on Jose. He growled when he learned that Jose was able to fulfill the task.
"may i see Parthenope now?" asked Jose as Achelos scowled at Jose.
"you didnt do this i know! A creature i'm not familiar with has done this right?"demanded Achelos.
"if you did then to get that beast's help, i must respect that..why would a beast try to help a skinny mortal like you...?"grumbled Achelos as he threw his arms up in the air.
"Nevermind, when the sun goes down,my sisters will be here in the lake. I warn you, she doesnt remember you but if you can identify which one is Parthenope then she'll remember everything. It's her choice if she wants to follow you back or not ." ordered Achelos.
"Of course,,i just want to see her..." thought JOse.
Achelos laughed.
"Let's see if your friends can still help you now." grumbled Achelos.
It was nightfall and just as Achelos said, the sirens arrived and rested near the lake. Jose was behind some bushes, he carefully noted the sisters and to his horror, he cant idenify PArthenope. They all looked a like, they were birdlike, what set them apart were their haircolors and skintones.
"If PArthenope cant remember me...perhaps..."thought Jose as he thought of a plan.
Jose summoned the last fey whim he hoped could help. He quickly explained his situation to the lovely faerie and the faerie just listened.
The faerie then introduced herself as Alitaptap a lovely Palasekan.
The palasekan had lovely blonde hair and fair complexion, Jose noted that Filipino faeries looked like foreigners, they looked and dressed differently.
He offered her the cane-juice wine.
"I cannot help you Jose i dont know who Parthenope is..."whispered Alitaptap as she took a peek on the sirens.
"They have lovely voices."smiled Alitaptap.
Jose recalled in his grandmother's stories that palasekans love music.
"It's okay Alitaptap..i have a plan...can you do me a favor?'asked Jose.
"Of course anythign for Maria's friend."said Alitaptap.
"Can you summon fireflies and send it over to them...I...I want to see how they'd react if they see fireflies.."
"That's all?"asked Alitaptap as she was confused by Jose's plan.
"Yes, after this you may go." said JOse as Alitaptap simply shrugged.
"You're a starnge human..I dont know why you want this...but...here anyways..."whispered Alitaptap as she gestured her arms and smal bright fireflies started to appear in front of them. With a wave the fireflies slwoly fluttered towards where the sirens were.
Alitaptap vanished as quickly as she appeared as JOse peeked through the bushes.
The fireflies quickly flew around the sirens, the sirens were startled. The blue haired jerked and yelled
"What are these? Get them off me!!!"
WHile the pink haired just lay down and yawned.
"They're fireflies, dont tell me you havent seen them throughout your immortal life."she laughed as the lavender haired reached out her hand and gazed at the firely.
"I've seen these in the mainland...somewhere near dady's river..These fireflies they remind me of a good friend of mine..." she thought wistfully. "Marpessa! Parthenope! The lavender haired!"" blurted Jose aloud.
The startled sirens stood from their grounds as the pink haired flapped her wings and boomed.
"Who goes there???" then she gestured her hand and pointed at the bushes.
"Ligeia stop!" argued the lavender haired
Jose was taken aback as a strong force pulled him out of the bushes and in front of the three sirens.
"A mortal? What is he doing here?" screeched the blue haired in disgust.
The lavender haired then knelt before Jose to shield him from her sisters.
"Are you hurt? Forgive my sisters...how did you know Marpessa? And why do you know my name?" she asked as she tried to check to see if he was hurt.
Jose smiled. She may look different but she was still her warm and precious Parthenope.
"Because you told me...back in the river...how why Mapressa chose a mortal over a god intrigued you..My dearest Parthenope.."he told her as his blue orbs lovingnly gzaed at Parthenope.
Then Parthenope stood and stepped back. Then motes of bright light started to surround her. Visions and images started to flood into her mind.
How she met Jose, the play, and fleeing into the Philippines, and how she was taken into the river...
"I remember..."she whispered as her skin became smooth and her hair turned brown.
She became the Parthenope that Jose knew.
"Oh jose! Jose! How could I forget! My dearest husband!!" she rejoiced as she threw herself around her husband's arms.
"What did my brother do? How did you get here??"she asked as she held back her tears.
"Told you I'd go to the ends of the earth just to get you back..." smiled Jose as Parthenope laughed.
"You chose correctly and the spell I placed at Parthenope was broken. So you do know her very well." said Achelos solemnly as he appeared before them.
"Brother how could you do this to me..." said Parthenope as she furrowed at Achelos.
" I only did this..because it cannot be..." declared Acehlos.
"But I love him! I'd rather live a short mortal life to be with him than to be immortal without him!" declared Parthenope.
"But if the gods refuse to remove your immortality, you will still be immortal and when he dies, you will be lonely for the rest of your life. Are you sure you want to chose this?" asked Acehlos.
" If the gods refuse...then I shall content myself in taking care of our childern..and children's children.." replied Parthenope as she thought on how their children would look like. She smiled and held Jose's hands as Achelos looked at how happy his sister was.
"Very well...I shall take the two of you home,, but do not forget us here." said Achelos.
"We wont forget to visit here.."agreed Jose.
Ligeia, and Leucosia smiled and were joyed to see that their sister found love.
"When we go home..you have so much explaining to do.." said Parthenope as she wrapped her arms around Jose's neck.
"Oh yes...I'll tell you all about my adventures, how I got here...and there's someone I'd like you to meet back in Mt. MAkiling.." said Jose as PArthenope chuckled.
"Not only that but how can we explain to your family since we seemed to have disappeared from the picnic.." said PArthenope as Jose joined in Parthenope's laughter then pulled Parthenope for a passionate kiss.
****THE END****

Hope you liked this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
If any of you have read my previous story, Serpent's curse, Parthenope is actually Tia's ancestor! :D

A very charming and interesting story. Lovely screenshots. I'm already with Sims3 but when I see again the possibilities of Sims2, I wonder if I can go back to 2. It takes forever to load and I keep hoping that the Sims3 will get as much possibilities as the Sims2 had. You've done a very good job.
