Posted by cadiva on Nov 19, 2008• Mansion and Garden Stuff video available

There's a video out on the official Sims 2 site which showcases the new Mansion and Garden Stuff Pack. It shows off the three new architectural styles which the pack will introduce to your Sims world - Art Deco, Moroccan and Second Empire. Also included is a look at some of the new garden items.

You can find the video here.

Thanks for the link, Cadiva. Be nice if they didn't race the stuff past you so fast you can't get a decent look at it, though.

4 new hairstyles and they can slide down the stairs, looks like i'll be getting this one. Not because I'm a builder but I know many new homes will be popping up with this and I don't want to miss out. Thanks for the link.

I got the pack and let me tell you.... it's awesome!! I love the two tile rug they give you for doors. Gives it a more finished look. And the plants are awesome! I love how you now have the option to stop and smell them. The new wall treatments for the outside are sweet too, and, *gasp* the biggest thrill is the fact my boyfriend (he hates sims anything!) had me not only get this one, but the IKEA pack as well. I'm glad he did, because now I find myself mixing in IKEA furniture to every place I build. If they make nothing else for the Sims 2, I'll be happy, but if they do... working bunkbeds would be sweet and a working rocking chair and even real working things for disabled people. I'd like to try and make a hospital or even a nursing home so having the stuff for one would be nice y'know.

I just got this pack for Christmas and I can't wait to play it. I'm so looking forward to all the new plants. The Green energy items look fantastic too - can have even more self-seficiant sims!
