SimCategorizer is a program that will allow you to re-categorize your objects for use with the Hot Date, Vacation, Unleashed, SuperStar and Makin Magic categories. This allows the objects to be used downtown (by selecting a downtown category), on Vacation Island, on the Unleashed community lots, in studio town and in magic town.. The existing catalog information (room and function flags, name price and description) may also be changed. Objects in folders and objects in FAR files may be edited. Includes support for read-only IFF files. Also includes a fix for the T-Mog sprite palette problem.

Also, it is best that you download the Visual Basics Runtime Files that Microsoft provides at there website. You can download them here: Microsoft VB Runtime Files

Great program, half the time the objects you get are not actualy listed for the correct rooms or what you would normaly use them for. It's nice to be able to change the attributes.

James Sausville is one of my favorite creators of programs and fixes for The Sims and The Sims 2. His objects and fixes for OFB make that expansion worth the purchase--I especially like, and use, the veggie and fruit packing station; I have some large community lot farms, and James has helped my sims rake in the cash--the fish packing station is also great. His site is still up, but now he is also creating games for iphone and the like. I don't have any gadgets like that, or I'd purchase a few to help him out. Well, really just wanted to say a big thank you to James!

I started playing the Sims early on and, having very happily gone back to Sims 1, I'm still loving this program!  It also helps with one of my most basic problems: I can never remember where objects are stored and it drives me nuts. In another year people will have been using this for a decade: that's rare and shows how much you've given to folks.  (And, thanks to Dancing Fingers, I now know to look for your website.)
