The TSR Wizard Manager is the host of a few applications that have been developed to for use with features of The Sims Resource.
Challenge Wizard
This application is used to record your game progress while playing TSR Challenges, objective based gameplay to expand your Sims 3 experience! Check out the TSR Challenges page for more details.
Story Wizard
A simple to use application which grabs stories from your game and uploads them to TSR, adding them automatically to your TSR Profile and the Stories Database. This process can now also be done using My TSR directly on the website.
File Upload Wizard
If you submit lots of creations to The Sims Resource this wizard will let you quickly and easily batch upload files to your submission storage area. From there you can pick them to assign to creations while you submit.
The Wizard on PC
This Wizard requires the .NET Framework v2.0 to run on your PC. You may already have this installed but if not, the Installer will arrange it for you.
The Wizard on Mac
The Wizard Manager can be run on Macintosh using one of the following emulators: Virtual PC | Mono | Paralells

Ok needing help please!!! My partner has tried to download this wizard and for some reason he keeps getting and error message saying that it won't load... how do we fix this little glitch so he can play the challages too?? Please reply!!

Second time I'm downloading the Wizard, this time for my laptop. It really works wonders.
Especially because my internet sucks on my stationary, so I have to have it on my laptop so see the challenges through. I'm going to have a lot of finished challenged in a day when my internet works again xD

how neat! I'm looking forward to trying this out. I like the look...I remember when I first joined TSR and did a challenge...it's been a while!
Is this down? I have not been able to get this to work for several days now and keep getting a 404 error. I even reinstalled and still it does not work. Also, the layout is odd with boxes that seem to overlap one another.
I'm having the same problem as daisylee. Did you get a new EP daisylee? I just installed Mansion & Garden stuff and it seems it's screwed up a lot of things. I know I read somewhere that you need to do something when you add a new ep but I can't find where I saw that.
daisylee, it's having problems. The server is apparently malfunctioning because nobody I know has been able to access the Wizard today. Try submitting a support ticket, hopefully it'll get fixed faster. About the layout, I have that problem also. However, I'm guessing it's due to me having a non-default DPI setting. That's the only thing I can think of...
help? mine turns on and when it checke for updates it comes up woth an error message saying: error checking latest version. message: the request failed with HTTP status 404: not found. please try again later. when i try to log in it says the same thing.

i have a problem. When i press "File Upload Wizard" then come this message> Unhandles exception has occurred in your application.If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.If you clicl Quit,the application will close immediately.

I don't understand how I upload my house.
I've downloaded the Wizard and ran it without any problems and installed the respective Sims of the challenges I want to play into my game. The thing is: I have my game in portuguese and I noticed that the sims I've installed into the game had their name changed into portuguese names then when I open the Wizard to see my progress in the challenges it shows a message under each challenge saying "Target sim not found" - could the name issue be the problem? Please reply. Thank you!
I'm having the same problem and i have no idea how to fix it....
I am having a problem with downloading the wizard. I checked and made sure the net framework thing was on my computer it is. It downloaded for some reason as a EFW file. What is that? How do I get the file to actually run and work? Cause I tried just running the wizard and not downloading it and it still will not work. Please help and send comments to charmedbuffygirl@yahoo.com I check my email more than this site.
I figured it out. If you have CA internet security this is what you have to do:
1) Open CA Firewall
2) Go to the Email section
3) Go the Email attachements tab
4) Double click on the .zip extention
5) UNCHECK the box that says "Quarantine all matching files"
Note: if you are reading this after you tried to install the wizard you will have to delete the file and then redownload. I have done that and it does work.
At last i fount it and it works perfectly

Its ok, I`m ok now.
This didn't load up for me in Firefox but when I tried it in Internet Explorer it worked, and really fast.
If anyone else is having the same problem try IE?

I kind of figure after reading about all the problems mostly everyone else was having, It wasn't going to be a smooth download for me either, And I was right! I download the wizard, What program am I suppose to use to open the file? I tried using the sims2pack Installer, Nothing loaded up inside the sims2pack Installer screen, But if it does... My next question is where do i put the wizard after that?? Does it go in the Downloads folder? Would appreciate any and all answers, Does the Wizard work work with FireFox??
There's something wrong! Since april 18th I'm not able to upload any stories anymore. It gives an error message has to do with jit something. Mine is in Dutch: System.Net.WebException: Kan geen verbinding met de externe server maken. (Can't make connection to external server) Nothing has changed on my pc since Saturday... what happened?

It looks just like my error, I have it in Dutch!
MizLuv2005 It's in a Zip file. You can just unzip the single document and then run that. It installs the program by itself.
I'm having problems running the wizard though. Since yesterday, I get errors when it tries to check for the latest version and then another error when I try to open the Challenge Wizard.
Anyone know what's up?

Nope, LostAgainUC. It is not just you. I too am getting that pesky "text/xml" error message. Is very frustrating as I completed many, many objectives on several challenges, but need to run the Wizard in order for TSR to recognise these achievements.
Glad to read that i am not the only one with this problem.
It is very frustrating. I had no problems with the program till i few days earlier.
I get the same error every time i tried to check for updates and when i try to run the wizard.
I hope they fix this problem soon.

Lost again I keep getting that message, very frustrating when trying to complete a challenge and go onto the next one
I've been trying to download it myself and having problems as well, when i click the link to try to DL the wizard it just goes to a blank pages saying there was a connection error, try refreshing it and doesnt do squat diddly...what is going on?!!
Yeah, I keep getting the same message error fetching data, class 'DomDocument' not found... too, I sent a report but it is annoying as I just finished a challange!

I've been trying to install this for the last 2 or 3 days, but when I try to run the program, I get a popup that says "TSR Base App has stopped working. Close the program."
