Hey everyone, I finally decided to write a new story, and I hope you guys like it :) Thanks to all cc creators and all of you reading. Have a lovely day. Sarah had lost everything in the fire. Her family, her things, and her confidence. What once was a fiery outgoing young girl was now a shell of herself. She gazed up at what was to be her new home,wondering if she could start a new life here in this dreary place. "This house looks like its going to swallow me up," Sarah though looking up at the dark mansion looming above her. "Come along now child, Mr. Simton does not like to be kept waiting," Ms. Striker announced marching ahead up to the house. From what Sarah had gathered from the ride over, Ms. Striker was not a kind woman, and didn't like children. "Leave that filthy thing on the porch," She snapped. Ms. Striker could not have known but this hurt Sarah very deeply. Sarah was too polite to retort and instead gently set her beloved teddy upon the porch. Ms. Striker led Sarah on through a very beautiful and spacious entry way. "Will you move your feet, I haven't got all day!" They came to a stop at a very large door after walking through the empty halls. It loomed above Sarah as Ms. Striker began to prep her on meeting Mr. Simton. "You will refer to him as Sir, keep quiet unless he askes you a question and no figiting. Finally Ms. Striker opened the door revealing a hansom man awaiting them at his desk. There were clocks all around giving the office a cozy yet strange feeling. "Hello little Sarah, its nice we finally meet," Mr. Simton said as Ms. Striker sat down. Mr. Simton is Sarah's uncle on her mothers side and the only family member who was willing to take her into his home. "Sit down Sarah, for heavens sake!" Ms. Striker griped. "The Sir didn't ask me to, mam." Sarah said softly. Mr. Simton threw his head back and laughed. "Please love, call me Uncle Ben." "This will be your room," Ms. Striker said. Ms. Striker and Uncle Ben had discussed matters for a while before showing Sarah upstairs, but she hadn't really been listening. "But, there aren't any toys? What shall I have to do." Sarah asked soflty. "In all my years, I have never met a child so spoiled! There are books over there, and I will see to it that your chores keep you busy. There may be maids here but that doesn't mean you need to be lazy and useless. Mr.Simton will be very busy with hospital work and such things so don't bother him with every little thing either." Ms. Striker left and Sarah sat down by the books. Looking up she felt a tear fall down her cheek, maybe she wouldn't be able to start a new life, but she was going to have to try.

    Oh wow, what a nice little introduction, the screenshots were a bit dark and a little small as well but you can tell you put a lot of work into them. They were really nice <3 It's going to be good to see the next part of this out ^_^
