Never lose faith and never give up. Prayers are carrried with the wind and to move them along comes help from little wings that flutter ever so quitely. Next time you feel a tiny splash of air look around it may as well just be little tiny wings nearby.
"Mick, don't you think you've been going there too much lately?"
Mick didn't respond, he just walked out the door.
It was getting late and Mick knew he had one too many already. It's been a very long time since he has touched a woman or to have been caressed by one. He turns around to get another drink and there stood Mercury in all her glory. Her scent filled his nostrils with an aroma that in itself was intoxicating. He found himself becoming aroused by her. The dancing started followed by some flirtation. Mercury, oh boy, she thought this would be her lucky night.
Mick drew her in for a full body hug. He pressed against her, drawing in her scent, his pulse quickened and his muscles tightened. He felt her body against his. He pulled her away. Mercury whispered in a husky voice "Mick, come home with me and I'll take away your pain. I can make you feel like a man again and you will sleep better then you ever have." At that moment she moved in for the kiss. Mick all the sudden realized what he was doing. Thoughts raced in his mind. "Oh my god, what am I doing?" He pushed her away and gathered his senses. "Mercury, I can't do this. I won't do this. Do you hear me? It's not going to happen."
"You’re a beautiful woman and any man would be happy to be with you, but I love my wife."
Mercury whimpered, "But Mick I..." Mick cut her off "Mercury please say no more, there is nothing you can do or say that would ever cause me to change my mind."
Soooo she turned and walked out of the bar leaving Mick to be alone with his thoughts.
Mick called his brother to come pick him up. He was unable to drive himself home.
He was also trying to dispel the intense moments of passion that still lingered.
Robert came just as Mick was reaching for another one. Dropping Mick off at the door. Robert said "Look Mick I know how hard this is for you. Why don't you get away for a little while. I can look after the house. your accountant can manage all your financial needs. You need some time."
Mick said to Robert "Robert, your probably right. Maybe I do need some time away. I know this place. It's quite and privet, only one other person knows about it. Yes, I will do just that." As Mick got ready for bed. His thoughts are filled with his wife Trudy. If she is alive, where is she? Why doesn’t she call? My god our baby, did our baby survive? Is it a boy or a girl? How old is the baby now? He thinks that the baby would be somewhere around 3 to 4 months old now. A tirp away would be nice. He would leave at first light. Spending hours holding her son Mickey. She loved that name, she wasn't sure why. When Andrew told her she was pregnat. She felt sick. How could she not know the father of her child. She thought maybe the man in her dreams could be the father, maybe he is her husband too. She had to hide the fact that she was searching on her own. Andrew always treated her with special care, protecting her. She could'nt get very far without Andrew always knowing where she was. After almost a year of being near prisoner in another life. It was time she got away. Time to find out for herself who she really is. Time to go to Riverview where it had all began. Sarah and Mickey headed for Riverview.
Without saying goodbye, without leaving a note. She took what money she had and left everthing else behind. She was not sure that she would even return. "STOP!" She yelled at the cab driver. "How much do I owe you? Here just take this, keep the change. I'll get out here. Thank you so much." She walked over to the bridge. This is where it all happend. It seemed like such a long time ago. She remembered the accident. Parts of her memory came flooding back. "There's my book store, my book store, oh my god I own you and the spa oh and the supermarket too."
Her heart was beating so fast inside her chest as more momories returned. My house, my house it's high on a hill. She was almost faint with joy. She couldn't get there fast enough. Talking to herself along the way. "What's my name, oh god what's my name? I live in the Le Rose Manor. Oh my god, I have money. I have lots and lots of money." She was out of breath when she got to the top of the hill. "This is it Mickey, the house in my dreams. My house. Our house." She ran around the front as fast as she could. Robert had just got out of his partner's car when he heard someone running up behind him. He went to greet her. He held his breath. She sure does look like Trudy. He thought to himself. In his mind he was doing some caclulations. Hummm she has a baby boy. Age about 3 months. "Oh my god could it really be her." "Trudy, is that you?"
"Trudy? Is that my name?
"And who is this little fellow?"
"This is Mickey."
"Please come inside." We have alot to talk about.
The minute she walked in the house. She knew. She knew this is where she belongs. This is her house. Heart pounding all the while. She thought "Oh oh oh, nursery, nursery is upstairs. My bedroom room. Oh my god, my husband. I have a husband!" Still her name sounds so unfamiliar "Trudy. Trudy. Truuuudy." She said it over and over again. "Oh Mickey, I have found my place, our place" Downstairs with Robert. He turns to her and begins. "Trudy, I am sorry that Mick is not here." Trudy says "Mick?"( short for Mickey) "Yes Mick." We can talk in just a few minutes, but plese tell me where and what happened to you.
Trudy begins her tale. Robert is taking her statement. "Trudy, we will notify the Sunset Valley police and have this man arrested ASAP!"
"Mick did not say where he was going, just that it was a special place." Robert said.
Trudy thought for a moment. "I think I know where he went. I must go there."
"Trudy, I can take care of Mickey, my little nephew." "Oh Robert, thank you very much. I am home. No more worries."
Robert felt tears sting his cheeks. Trudy, you have no idea what it's been like here without you. Welcome home."
I'll return in a couple of days with my husband. Please call the cell if you should need me." And with that Trudy was out the door. The flight was just about to leave. Not all of her memory has returned, but you can bet that 95% has. She knew exactly where Mick has gone. Lady luck is now with Trudy or was it something more like tiny unseen wings nearby. And he was right where she knew he was. On a little island where little flutter of wings can be found.
