Thanks everyone for taking there time to read my story!!!
“Wow!” I wonder to myself, “I wonder what a friend my mother had, this is an weird relationships between my mom and aunt Marie.”
(continuing up the stairs) (thinking to self)
I never heard of her till now, the last time I remembered was when I was five years old and had met Marie for the first time, she always had a smile on her face, even now she still does, and every time she talks to my mom, it was always about me. I can hear her say my name many times in their conversations, I was starting to think she really liked me a lot, but why? I was my mother’s daughter, right? (stopped at the stairs looking up) talking to myself, “ umm...", she says,"the second one to the right, (looks at the right door) I guess its this one, I hope it’s right." (looking at the door)
(thinking) I might be thinking about aunt Marie too much, I probably should thank her that she even lend me a helping hand, instead of wondering why everything seems wrong. (smiles) I should be more positive, it’s a new beginning for me. (opens the door and enters)
(Talking to self)
" Wow!, aunt Marie was right after all, she did get it ready for me! It looks so cute! I feel like a little princess!” (looking around excitedly)
(looking at everything, I was starting to get really tired, riding in that taxi for an hour was back killing, so I decided to go and take a short nap before dinner) After 3 hours I woke up and I see it was dark out, I rose up and went to the dresser and opened it, realizing I left my suitcase at the front entrance, but when I opened the drawers I was shocked to see all my clothing were already perfectly aligned inside the dresser. (Smiles) Aunt Marie must of put it there when I went to take my nap. I quickly gather my things and went to take a shower.
I got out of the shower and went downstairs, as I was going downstairs I can smell the aroma of a soup flowing past my nose, I can hear pots and pans being moved around. Walking down I went straight to the kitchen to found my aunt cooking on the stove.
Andrea: hi auntie, what are you cooking there?
Marie: (smiles) oh cooking some macaroni and cheese, how was your sleep?
Andrea: (smiling) it was wonderful auntie, very comfortable bed.
Marie: oh glad to hear that, now if you have time, will you help me out?
Andrea: oh sure, what is it that you need help with?
Marie: I need to make another dish, you know how to make salad?
Andrea: (excited) oh yes I do!
Marie: great, can you get that started?
Andrea: sure (goes straight to the fridge and took out some vegetables and went to the food processor)
(looks at her auntie)
Andrea: so your sons and uncle’s not home yet?
Marie: they will be here in a bit, after you finish up with the salad can you clean these plates first, I’ll go and set up the food at the dining room, after you’ve finished here, go ahead and come into the dinning room.
Andrea: (nodding) oh, okay (smiles)
Marie: great, thank you hunnie (walks out with the salad and macaroni in her hands)
After finishing her chore, she walked out of the kitchen and headed toward the dining room, as she got closer she could hear chatters of many peoples, her stomach turned, as she was getting more and more nervous, she finally forced herself to enter, she saw her uncle stood up to greet her. And their three sons, to her left looking handsomely at her. She turned shy, blushing from her sweet little face.
Uncle: great to see you hunnie, come on over here and sit here.
Andrea: (smiling and following her uncle’s order, she couldn’t’ even felt herself move, but somehow she ended up sitting in the chair. Nervous as she was, the room went silent, she could felt all the eyes were on her, as if she got something on her face and no one’s saying anything.)
