Now visibly pregnant, Itzel draws the ire of her parents even more. Her mother is furious with her for not only being pregnant and unwed, but for having the child of a man who has no intention of marrying her, mostly because he's already married. It seems like they argue everyday to her. But she knows in her heart that one day, Devon will leave Tiara and they will be a family.

Her mother is furious with her for not only being pregnant and unwed, but for having the child of a man who has no intention of marrying her, mostly because he's already married. It seems like they argue everyday to her. But she knows in her heart that one day, Devon will leave Tiara and they will be a family. Her father loves her and would do anything for her, but seeing her make such a poor decision hurts him so much that he actually tells her he's disappointed with her. Ponce refuses to come home from France because he's still infuriated by her actions. Reya tries to spend as much time as possible away from the house to keep from hearing all the arguing. Despite calling Devon several times to meet her at the hospital, he never shows. Her father arrives just in time to walk with her into the hospital. Although he sad about the situation, he loves his daughter and wants to be there for her. Once inside, she is taken to her room where her mother is waiting. She has the baby, who she names Lux Phalen Castiel Ashton, and both mother and daughter are fine. While settling into her role a new mother, Itzel is content. Months go by and not hearing from Devon seems to make her forget about him for a time. Until the doorbell rings and an unexpected guest arrives. Devon finally shows up to see his daughter, or so she thought. He was really there because he was having a fight with Tiara, and need somewhere to disappear to. Having seen though Devin's games and realizing he's just using her, Itzel tells him off. She makes him leave and promises to never see him again. Her mother and father are pleased with her grown-up decision and they encourage her to reach out to her brother, to finally reconcile their fractured relationship. Itzel tries to call Ponce but he never answers, Sugar does, telling her he has no interest in speaking with her. In actuality, Ponce has wanted to reconcile with his sister, Sugar has been keeping him from doing so in the hopes that they never have to leave France. One day, out of the blue, he just decides to give her a call. Returning from France made Ponce feel as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He embraced his sister for the first time in years, and it felt good. The only person not satisfied with the reunion is Sugar. Leaving Bridgeport and marrying Ponce was all to keep him away from his sister. She would do anything to keep him, even putting in a call to an old friend.
