Chapter One
ROCHFORD PALACE, BARD (BARD CITY)
Residents:
King Henry VI, Former King Henry V, Queen Anne, Former Queen Jane III, Princess Margaret, Princess Heather, and an assortment of ladies in waiting, and knights. ANNE: You know, dear, Jane and I were studying the royal law this afternoon. HENRY: That's Great, Anne ANNE: And we found a particularly interesting law, pertaining to you. HENRY: Really? What did you discover? ANNE: Well, it would appear that, "The King must wear a crown atop his head at all times, unless he is asleep" HENRY: A...a crown? I havn't worn a crown in years. Not since my coronation. ANNE: Well, you better find one soon, otherwise the word will spread to the dukes and barons, and you'll become King Consort until you can unhinderedly obey royal law. HENRY: That makes no sense! I am King. ANNE: No is above the law, dear. I guess you'll just have to...wait, wait, Henry...I think my water just broke. HENRY: What does that mean?
ANNE: It means... ANNE: ...Oh Dear Lord! I'm about to give birth! HENRY: That's great, Anne! ANNE: Not it's not! Annabeth, Dimitria, I need you now!! ANNABETH: Did you hear something? DIMITRIA: I thought I heard the queen calling us. We should check on her. She sounds like she's in pain. ANABETH: We're here, your majesty.
DIMITRIA: What's the problem? ANNE: I'm about to have my baby! ANNABETH: Alright, lets not panic, we've done this before. Just get on the bed and we can get on with it.
ANNE: You don't have to tell me twice.
DIMITRIA: Umm, how about a little privacy for your wife, Your Majesty? HENRY: Well, fine! But how about a little respect around here? ANNE: Alright, Anne, you can do this. It's not like you haven't before... DIMITRIA: Okay, ready your highness?
ANNE: Ready.
DIMITRIA: Nice and easy, now...push! ANNE: No, Dimitria. This baby's coming out way too fast for pushing... ANNE: Lord, please help me. ANNE: Oweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeya!!!!!!! Oweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyahuuuayahuuuuuu!!!!! ANNE: Oweeeeeeeeeeeeyeruioh!!!!!!!!!!!! Eeeewoyuioweeeeeeeeeew!!!!!!! ANNE: Awwww!! Look at that beautiful baby boy!
ANNABETH: Wow, that was fast.
DIMITRIA: Where'd the diper come from? HENRY: Is it over? Can I come in? Oh, oops... Well, can I hold him at least?
ANNE: Sure. HENRY: What a handsome boy. He'll make a fine Prince, someday.
ANNE: Indeed. END OF CHAPTER ONE

(And now we move on to chapter two...) CHAPTER TWO
ROCHFORD PALACE, BARD (BARD CITY)
Residents: King Henry VI, Queen Anne, Former King Henry V, Former Queen Jane III, Prince William (The newborn), and an assortment of ladies in waiting and knights.
Princess Mary and Prince Henry are visiting. MARY: Dad, why did you call us here, and where are we in the castle?
HENRY: Yeah, it looks new.
HENRY VI: It is, and I've called you here to tell you both something important.
(Do differenciate between the two Henry's, the king is indicated with the roman numeral VI.) MARY: (*GASP!*) Did someone die!?
HENRY VI: No, no. Well, there was a peasant who passed in Devon, but that's not important. HENRY: Then why are we here? HENRY VI: Well, since the both of you are getting older, your mother and I feel that the both of you should go out and set up your own Privy Courts... in Devon! MARY: What's a court, again? HENRY VI: A court is simply the residence of a sovereign, like myself our your grandfather, or similar dignitary, such as you, Margaret, Heather, or William, with-
HENRY: '-with an entourage of nobleman like Dukes or Barons.' Yeah, yeah. We've heard this before, Dad. But why do we have to do it? HENRY VI: Well, in the case of Henry, when he is King of Ankolia, his court will take over in the castle, so it's important to start thinking about it now. It your case, Mary, When you're married off to some other Prince, your court will be conjoined with his, so it is further important to have an entourage with you. Henry, you will go to Aberdeen Castle in Southern Devon. Mary, you will travel to Aberswyth Castle, across the street from Aberdeen. Your mother and I feel that it's important that the two of you still live near each other. MARY: You know, it would be cool to strike out on my own, for once.
HENRY VI: You won't be on your own, Mary. Accompanying you will be baronesses, generals, maybe even a Duchess. But your long-beloved Governess Sarah will have to stay behind. HENRY: Sounds like fun.
HENRY VI: But son, with great power comes greater responsibility. You have to check in on outlying settlements, gather popularity amongst the common people, gain respect from neighboring countries, instill national pride in the people, work out disputes between nobility, issue nessecary laws... HENRY: Dad, that's waaay too much work! HENRY VI: It's not that much. Okay, fine, it is. ANNE: Henry, dear! You didn't tell me we had company! Hello, Mary, Henry. So, how's the search for the crown going? HENRY: But dad, you've never worn a crown.
HENRY VI: Yes, umm...Did I forget to mention that if I don't find a crown soon, I would break roayl law and have to become King Consort? MARY: It would appear that you conveniently left that out, Dad. ANNE: He didn't tell you? Well that's too bad. But don't tell the Privy Council! They'll have a fit. HENRY VI: Yes, and we REALLY don't want that... ANNE: No, we don't HENRY VI: Well, I think we're done here. Mary, Henry, give me a list of nobility and servants to take with you to your court, and I'll review it. Meanwhile, I'll get to crown searching. END OF CHAPTER TWO
