Hi . This story is about Alexis Faux (Alex) , who lost her parents since she was a child . She grew up with Uncle Joe and Aunt Marie .

They both were her only family and she love them very much as they were her own parents .

 Unfortunately ..

Her happiness was perished by an incident that took Aunt Marie away from their lives forever . Luckily Alexis was matured enough to accept the fate. She was almost seventeen that time .


At that time she took all the responsibilities . Such as ..

Cooking , Cleaning and other stuffs your mother does , well you know ; housekeeping .


She did not have the heart to see Uncle Joe working day and night . At least she could lighten his burden by doing the house chores . One fine morning after done with her daily chores ,

"What a beautiful morning ! It would be great if I go to the park for a nice walk," she decided .

"Besides , Uncle Joe sure wouldn't mind . It has been a while since I haven't been outside"

 On her way out , she saw Uncle Joe and he seemed agitated over something . It was not the first time .

It happened most of the time lately . But she wouldn't dare to ask him why .

"Maybe I should ask him . Besides he don't have anyone else to talk to .. Except me ,"

 And when she does .. He went really mad and started to yell at her .

"It's none of your business !" "Get out of my sight ! Seeing you really makes me sick !"


Alex couldn't speak at all . She was quite shocked . "I..I.. I was just wanted to help . Thats all, "


"Well I don't need your help . You couldn't help me at all . Acting like an adults heh ?! Peehh ."

 That night , when Alex was relaxing in her small comfortable room , Uncle Joe came in with an unwelcome news .

"A friend of mine offered a job for you . He thinks we need some cash to pay all the house expenses . Yeah he's right . I couldn't pay all the expenses on my own,"

 "I'm not taking no for the answer . You should accept this opportunity with no BUTS , it's for your own good !"




 "But Uncle , I never worked before. I got no experience in working . Its not that I didn't want to work.."


"No working experience needed . Just don't ask anymore . I'm tired of answering all your stupid questions ,"


 "I'll be taking you to meet them tonight . I want you to get ready and just don't take too much time,"


"Why tonight ? Can't they wait for tomorrow morning? It's kinda late now,"


"A taxi will wait for us outside . Come out when you're done," without answering , Uncle Joe commanded sternly .
