Welcome to my new story named Distinto. Enjoy. Hello, my name Lydia. I'm nine years old and go to Sullington Middle School. I sort of have a problem though. I'll tell you after you meet my wonderful parents. This is my mom. Her name is Holly. She's working on getting a job as a Chef. She's the best cook ever. This is my dad Jack. He's very smart. ehe...uh.Smart is part of my problem. Well anyway, back to my dad. He's awesome, he wants to be a docter. I'm proud of him. Ok, well...back to me. I have a problem...It has to deal with my brain. You see, I'm smarter then normal girls my age. It worries my parents because my teachers don't seem to notice it. They figure I'm just a very smart girl. They don't know that I don't just study, I know. Born smart. I haven't skipped a grade ever.Thats why today were going to my sports counsler. She wants to talk to my parents about my improvement. We waited in the waiting room. I got uncomfortable just sitting here, waiting to be told some important news. It was hot inside the building, even with the air conditioning on.After my parents got called inside, my parents told me to go outside. I decided to sun tan. Easy right? Well...my parents taught me how not to get sunburnt. And I told them of all the different things that have happened with sun diesese. They kinda freaked. I told them if you use the right kind, That won't happen. After laying in the sun for quite some time, It got dark out. So, I began to watch the fire dancer. He's very talented and it looked pretty when it was dark. Finally, my parents were done. We met in the car. "Mom?" I asked curiously. She turned to me. "Yes honey, what is it?" I took a deep breath before continuing. "What did she say?" My mom and Dad looked at each other for a long time. I looked out the window and saw a man asking for money on the street. "Nothing important.Just that you are improving each time you go. Also..." Her voice faded out. I looked at her. "She wants me to go to a training camp doesn't she?" I asked silently. My dad pulled into the driveway and turned off the car. "We'll talk about this at dinner. We sat at the dinner table and ate the pork chops mom made us. "So." I said after ten minutes passed. My mom sighed. "Were thinking about it. I don't know if we want to do this or not anymore. This isn't the first time it's been brought up." I looked down at my plate. Some how the conversation turned into what it would be like if we had another baby. I decided to tune them out. My mom and dad finished. Then once I finished, I washed the dishes and fed my dog Buddy. After I fed Buddy, I climbed into bed and made sure that my teddy bear was there with me, in my bed. -In my parents room- "I hope things are ok now honey. I don't want her thinking bad about this." Dad turned to look at my mom. "Don't worry sweetie, things will be ok. As long as she knows its for the best." My mom sighed. "And then maybe if Lydia is at training camp, we can work on making our family bigger. Dad smiled. "Thats right." He grabbed mom and began telling her stuff. Soon they fell asleep. Tommorow I would find out some painful news. ....lol. =] PLZ RATE AND COMMENT! =P
