Sorry I've taken AGES with this part, but I've had heaps of school-work, and if that wasn't enough, my computer's been having problems. Then I lost a lot of custom content, but hopefully that's all fixed now. I hope you all enjoy this part, and let me know if you have any ideas for what should happen next. :)

Dawson pushed Rachael and Jane behind him as he prepared himself. The screams had vanished into the trees but the sound of footsteps was still rapidly approaching The footsteps ceased right in front of Dawson and the others. It was a woman, something that they all half expected but it was still a surprise. The woman looked releived as she saw them. She quickly spun her gaze around to see if she was still being followed "Are you alright?" Dawson asked concerned. The woman hesitated for a minute, still trying to catch her breath "I'm- I'm alright, I'm fine" she replied in a thick english accent. Dawson walked up to her and gave her a hug. "You sure? You don't look all right" She just nodded "I'm fine." While all this was happening Rachael was still standing there shocked, and a little jealous. Rachael thought the woman looked much prettier than her, even with the cuts and grazes on her face. Instantly Rachael felt she had lost Dawson, even though he wasn't really hers in the first place, she still felt like she had lost him. The woman, who Dawson found that her name was Elizabeth, turned around again to check that there was still nothing behind her. She was expecting to see nothing like before, but the things that had been following her, were there. She let out a blood curling scream, and Dawson pushed her behind him and stood in front of them all Dawson gulped as he saw what they held in their hands. But he wasn't one for being a coward and he stood his ground. The two...'things' looked at each other and chuckled to themselves. Dawson looked at them a little confused. The...'blue' one picked up the rock that was close to 'her?' and hurled it straight towards Dawson. It hit him squarely in the head, his vision blurred for a second then everything faded and went black "DAWSON!!" Rachael cried and rushed over to his side. She wasn't there long, as her vision too blurred and she collapsed in the warm sand, as did everyone else ....... They all slowly and cautiously awoke, well all but Penny the dog, who didn't really know what was going on. It's also given that no-one else did either, as they started to realise where they were. Rachael started scaleing the bars to the apparent cage that they were in, hoping to find a weak spot, but was unsuccessful. Dawson couldn't stop staring at the bonfire that had been made, but he couldn't see any people. "What happened?" Dawson asked, just as he did all the people that were in the tribe, ran out of their huts There was a lot of chattering and yelling, until someone yelled out for them to be quiet. Rachael heard someone say 'it's the Queen' quietly to the person next to him. "What are we going to do with them your highness?" asked one of the people in the crowd. Just as she was about to speak someone walked up behind her. "I beleive I will take this matter into my own hands" he said. Everyone started bowing, "yes King" they chorused together. "Princess, how many time must I say it? You are not the Queen, as of yet. I still haven't made up my mind to have you or your brother as the tribe's leader" he said into her ear, barely audible. "Yes father, but I was just trying to prove to you that I want to be Queen, unlike my brother who has no interest in the position" she argued her case. "Daughter, this is neither the time nor the place" the princess bowed respectively and stood down. "Release the prisoners" he ordered The duty fell upon Nik-Mar one of the common tribeswomen, to release the prisoners. "You're lucky, you know? Considering who brought you here...." her voice trailed off. There was something about the tone as well, that made Rachael shudder After Rachael, Dawson, Elizabeth, Jane and Penny left their cage, Rachael wanted to take advantage of the breif few seconds to ask Nik-Mar what she meant. "I just mean that you're all very lucky, the guardians don't take nicely to trespassers" Nik-Mar told her. Rachael opened her mouth to say something more but she was interrupted by the King "Prepare them some sleeping quarters, and we will fully address this issue in the morning" He smiled at Rachael and the others. "Goodnight" he said and walked back into his hut Nik-Mar showed them all to a hut that they could spend the night in. They all walked in and made themselves comfortable on the bear skin rug. Except Rachael, that had millions of questions plaguing her mind. "Who are the guardians?" seemed like a good first question to ask Nik-Mar. "Don't trouble yourself with such questions now, they will be answered in the morning, now please, all of you get some rest, you must be tired." and with that she left.
