Here's the next part; thanks to everyone who commented on the last part! Hope you like it... "Just stay away from me!" The words seemed to echo around in my head. I have never been yelled at before. Holly use to yell at me but that was only because I didn't the chorse or she wasn't saticified with a dish I prepared. This yelling though, it was something completely different. It was the kind of yelling that people do when they hate you. But maybe, just maybe, he never meant any of it. he was just angry and let out all his anger on me. Yeah, that was probably it. I guess it was realy hard for Dylan to hold in his anger. The only way he can learn to contril it, I guess, is patientice. He has to be patient and soon he'll find that his anger slowly fades away. Gosh, that makes no sense! I sound so strange...But I do believe he never meant to hurt me. I slowly stood up from the bench. It was getting late and I've heard there are some strange poeple wondering around this park at night time. I began walking don the path.It must sem strange, but this park seemed realy peaceful at night time. It smelled of pine and exotic flowers. But it was really cold, I wish I brough my jacket with me. I guess winter is having one last try before spring fully takes over... There was a strange shuffling sound. I looked behind me. I felt worry creep in my system. Was it one of the weirdoes from around here?! Dah, what should I do? "J-Just..Just leave me alone!" I yelled. I think it worked because he suddenly stopped. After a monet he stepped from the shadows inot the light. I gasped. Oh no, I can't tell him I thought he was a stalker or something, dah! What do I do now?! Dylan slowly walked towards me, his eyes focused on the ground and his hand rubbing the back if his neck. I spoke up first "Dylan, I, um...Whatever you do don't go!" "I don't plan on it," he said quietly almost a whisper "But did I hurt you that much?" I frowned in confusion "I'm sorry, but what are you talking about?" He still didn't look up from the ground "You know! God, do have like short term memory or somehting?!" "I,um...I'm sorry." He sighed heavily "No, you don't need to apologise here. I mean, it's just that, I want...I feel really angry ever since I yelled at you this afternoon. I was being...What I mean ot sya is...Ugh, just yell at me again if your angry with me!" I gasped in my head. Dylan, all this time, I think he was trying ot apologise. He's trying to say sorry. He must have been trying ot say sorry the other day as well. Why couldn't I see that? Now he thinks I'm angry at him...I'm not at all. For some reason, I felt a smile cross my face. "I'm not angry at you, Dylan." He finally looked up, a look of surprise on his face. "In fact," I continued "I would really love it if we could become friends. I think it would be fantastic if we became friends." I meant it too. I wanted to get to know Dylan a lot more. I had a feeling he would make an interesting yet great friend. 'There are some people in this world that will want to be your friend. They'll accept you for your faults and your mistakes and like you because they like a quality about you. All you have to do is be yourself and you'll become good friends...' Those were the words of his mother. He felt the surprise and almost shock on his face. He never thought anyone would like to be his friend. Even in the training grounds all the kids avoided him, because of his other side... "Come on, it's getting late. Where's your house?" Dylan said breaking the silence. He walked past me and I turned and followed. "I live not far from here. It's just down from this park." I smiled. I think this was the begin of our friendship. I was so glad... Dylan suddenly stopped and I nearly crashed into him. "Dylan, are...are you okay?" I asked. He lifted his head towards the trees. I followed his gaze not being able to see what he was looking at. He then shook his head "Nothing. Just thought I heard somethin' move around. Come on..." He stood off to the side. For a moment there he thought he would have been caught by Dylan. However, he somehow wished he did. Then that way he could have cursed that little girl. he was slowly starting to realise what a great pain she was becoming. he thought she was weak and unimportant, something he thought the Howarths wouldn't take seriously. But for once he was wrong. he was NEVER wrong! He had to correct the mistake. He had to either give her a curse or hypnotise her to forget everything in her life. "Up to your old tricks again, Magician?" She slowly emerge from the tree trunk. She'd been hiding there this whole time. He turned towards her. His face fell into a slight sneer "What do you want, witch?" Her lips curved into a small smile, one she wanted to keep back "To get you out of trouble..." "No, really, what are you doing here? I'll have you know I'm capable of getting in and out of trouble. Unlike you witches you can't even hurt a soul! Your too scared of the consequnces that follow. Even when you have to suffer the consequneces you do nothign about it. You acept your punishment. Unlike me, I'd actually escape because I used magic." She sighed irritably "You Magicians are so reckless. We suffer the consequences because it's the right thing to do. We witch doctors follow the course of nature like a flowing river course through the forest. But you, Magician, your not even a magician. Your father would be disappointed in you. He was a magician, a great one. He only create illusions to amaze and also to frighten people, like other magicians. You don't create illusions. So how can you call yourself 'The Magician'? He laughed at that. The witch doctor stood her ground. "That is a good question," he said with a chuckle "You knew since the time we were children that I had more power then my father ever had in his lifetime. I don't care if he is disappointed in me, because I know, and always knew, I am greater then him. He did such silly things for those people. He made an idiot out of himself. He never wanted me to show my true power. I was considered the greatest and most powerful magician, I still am. I am so great that my illusions can come to life. I can form things beyond anyones imagination. I don't just create illusions, I make curses...Unbreakable curses that tear families appart and can bring rulers to their knees. I am truly the most powerful ebing on this planet..." "Listen to yourself!" she yelled "Your nothign but a greedy, selfish pig! Your make everyone suffer for your own pleasure. One day, everything around you come crashing down. She'll do it. That girl, I know she'll do it-!" "I have no time to hear this!" With that he spun his staff and dug into the ground. Light surronded him and he disappeared after a few seconds. The light slowly died down. The witch doctor felt a tear well in her eye "Your not what you use to be...my friend..." We finally found the parks exit. The journey out had been really quiet. In fact it was so quiet I could hear the leaves rustling in the trees. Feeling a little awkard I spoke up "Um, Dylan?" "What do you want?" he said carelessly. I wasn't sure if I shouldn bring it up. Maybe if I bring it up it might help him a bit "I, um, I was sort of wondering. When you were, eh...left alone, what, um, happened to you?" He walked slower. I slowed down too. He spoke up "I wondered around alone for a bit. But then, after a while I found a training camp, a little like military school. They taught hand-to-hand combat and matrial arts for teens. For the kids it was these courses where we had to push ourselves if we wanted to reach the end of a challenge" - Dylan's voice became enthusiastic and excited -"I thought it was great because I was the top of the group. Everyone would avoid me because they were too scared. I always felt like I beonged there, like I was accepted by the Leader. Just talking about it now makes me want to go back there and do it all over again!" He then looked back at me, the slightist bit of embarressment showing in his expression "But, I suppose you find all of this boring, huh? I mean, a girl like you isn't into this sorta thing." "No, no! It's very interesting! I guess I just know much about fighting. I mean, I don't like it when people fight, but I'm happy for you. I'm happy you found somewhere you can live and be accepted by a person, because I guess no one else does... "Dah, oh no! I didn't mean that last part. I take that back!" I just suddnly realised what I said at the end. That was extrmemly mean. How could I say that?! "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to say that. I-" He started laughing. I looked at him in embarressment "I'm really sorry..." I managed to squeak out. "The look on your face is hilerous!" he bursted out, his laughing slowly coming to a stop. I looked up and nearly gasped. He was grining. I have never seen his grin before, let alone his smile. It was a grin of awkardness and something else, somethign I could put my finger on. I found myself smiling back. Then I started laughing. He started laughign again. What was it? What was so funny? These sort of questions raced through my head. Everything was weird but yet I was happy. And as we walked back he told me about his adventures at the training camp. The whole time, he was still grinning. I still smiled back at him... We reached my house. I was sort of sad he had to go. I really wanted to find out how he managed to beat the Leader for the first time. "Well, this is my house..." "Looks kinda small" he commented. I nodded. I guess it was, it just looked so big on the inside. I turned back to him "Thanks for walking me home." "Yeah, but this was a one off. Don't expect me to do it next time." He was back to normal self. Surely though I had to repay him for doing this. "Uh, Dylan. I, um, I know this isn't much but...here" I leaned foward and kissed Dylan's rough cheek. Wehn I puled back he looked so shocked. "I'll um, see you tommorow!" I said quickly turning around and walking up the steps. I think he left when I truend around because when I checked to make sure, he was gone. I turned back but stopped just outside the door. I thought about Dylan's grin. I smiled again like he was still in front of me. Not only that I kissed him on the cheek as well. But I did the same for Ryan. I guess the only difference was that the kiss for Ryan was because it was a prize, but the kiss for Dylan was genuine. But that didn't mena I favoured one of the other. I liked them both equally. I was so glad to have them as friends... (So, that's the end of chapter six. Chapter seven will should be out soon! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry for any spelling and grammer mistakes! Thanks again everyone, don't forget to comment if you have time! Keep Creating and Siming!!;) -Warrayfinson
