This is Sofia McKimm, a young girl of 24 years old. She did her science-politic major at the prestigious Academie Le Tour and now moves to her new house at Pleasantview. Sofia can't wait to start her new life as a real adult. Finally in her own house, sitting on her couch. She couldn't believe it, everything is serious now. She will get a job and soon start a family in this house..She thinks about it while reading her favorite novel. Suddenly, DING DONG! Sofia's neighbours arrived at her house to greet her, lets see who's here: Charles Van Pelle, the friendly and handsome paramedic Nina Caliente, a girl who apparently doesn't know how to make friends. And Darren Dreamer, an unemployed man who seems to have a huge problem with Nina.. too! Sofia invited them to stay over for lunch. They had many interesting conversation about this town and describe themselves.
Darren is in his mid-thirties, unemployed, passionate about astronomy and hates Nina.
Nina, 28 young and charming had so much lovers that she can't even count them on her fingers..and toes!
And Charles, a hard worker young man of 32 years old, loves to fixe objects, painting and traveling. They had a really good time getting to know each other and then Darren had to ruin everything by bringing up about Nina's love life. This time, Nina really pissed of and slap Darren. Charles is so kind and fascinating and he definitely has a certain charm. He tells me that he has a wonderful wife, 3 children: Effy, Freddy (from Coraline's precedent marriage) and the youngest, Jeremy. "What a nice man, he is cultivated and so kind. Too bad he's already married to Coraline!....- Bam Bum Paf - ..Huh? What is it?" "Oh gosh! What is happening here?!? They're fighting in MY house!!! Please don't destroy my furnitures!
I can't believe it!!!! Out! Both of you, out!" "I definitely learned something this evening, never invite Nina and Darren over again, or at least not both in the same time." When Sofia woke up this morning, she surprised herself smiling while she was thinking about Charles. The memory that Sofia had about yesterday wasn't the facinating conversation about his voyage in Spain or how he saves people's life but the details of his face, the way his lips move when he talks or his beautiful green eyes when he looks at her. Sofia knew it was wrong to think about think about Charles, he already has someone in his life. "But why can't I stop?" Thinks Sofia while getting in the car for her first day at job as a Caimpagne Worker. She was really motivated to impress her new boss, and it worked! 2 days after, she got a promotion as an intern. The next day, her charism and leadership helped her get a second promotion as a lobbyist. Oh, Sofia couldn't be a happier woman. Charles called her a day after to invite her to the restaurant with his family to celebrate her double promotions. Sofia first hesitated, afraid to spend time with him, but with Charles's kindness and enthousiasm, she couldn't refuse. "So this is her, the famous Coraline!" thinks Sofia. She didn't like her alot, when she first saw Coraline at the door. She tried to find to Coraline as much defaults as possible. After the arrival at the restaurant, Coraline starts to talk about her passions about writing and Sofia knew that Coraline was has so much more in common with her and maybe she wasn't that bad. They have so much fun together, Charles smiles. Somehow, Sofia really envy their happiness, they form such a beautiful family and she is alone in this city. After the dinner, Freddy (Coraline's son) starts to talk to Sofia: Hey! Do you want to go see a movie Friday night?
Sofia totally unexpected to hear that answers: Hum..Aren't you a little bit young to date a girl like me?
Freddy: I'm 20 and I guess you're a little bit older than me..
Sofia: Well..I'm 24! But.. Freddy: You see, I'm not too young! And I really like you, you seem funny and smart.
The age wasn't a problem for Sofia, the real problem was Freddy wasn't the one she likes but his stepfather!
Sofia: Sure, why not! It will be fun!
