 The proprietors of the magic shop are living the mystical lifestyle. Natasha calls in Galina... ... then she freezes time! Awesome!!!

Oliver wants to catch up to Natasha's level, and studies hard. The shop is growing well. At these cheap prices, the items practically sell themselves, so there's no real need to do much except ring up the customers and restock the shelves. In fact, things are selling so well, Olie raises the prices a little to bring in more money. He's getting much more talented at running the shop with a little practice. Things are so busy, Natasha decides to hire an employee. Lindsay Hamilton is slow at the register at first, but she soon picks it up. Some of the customers are very impatient while waiting for Lindsay to improve. One even gave up, and threw a tantrum before leaving without any goods. Lindsay isn't the best worker. She keeps wanting to take breaks. Eventually she up and quits.

Oliver quickly hires a new employee, Rodney Jung (who I forgot to take a photo of). He is a much better worker. Unfortunately the disruptions mean that day's trading is poor. The business is growing, but it doesn't bring in enough for the couple to want to quit their steady jobs yet. It's exhausting working 2 jobs!

 It's even harder to quit their jobs when they are going so well. Oliver begins work on the theory of the process behind theorisation, and earns a research grant of $50,000. He also reaches the top of the science career, fulfilling his lifetime want. For her part, Natasha's clients offer a higher price when she provides a safe and reliable design for their city plan. Her personal bonus is for $40,000. With this much money in the bank, they decide to go ahead and renovate their house. They want to start a family, and with all the clutter they have accumulated, such as musical instruments and career rewards, the house could do with a big rumpus room upstairs. Tash is feeling more social, and actively wants to have some of her friends over. With spring, Natasha starts work in her garden again, and earns a gold talent badge to boot. The local neighbourhood dogs have heard that the Freemans are friendly with Baron, and want to be let inside as well. The couple have conflicting schedules, but they insist on finding the time to try for a baby, now that they are ready to start a family. The tell-tale sign of pregnancy starts. Tash is on maternity leave, but being the trooper she is, she still works hard at the shop, brewing up the potions. Pregnancy takes its toll. Naps are common. She even falls asleep face down in her food during dinner. Olie is looking forward to being a Dad. Pregnancy hormones and the spring air mean for some flirting. With all this money in the bank, Olie wants to spend some of it to make their lives easier when they are parents. He hires a butler, who is even finickier about cleanliness than they are. The butler also seems good at calling their friends off the street. Candi pops over for some video games. Nery is excited to hear about all the baby plans. There's always time for some good old fashioned skill building. Soon enough, labor begins. Simon Freeman enters the world! His parents adore him. The butler comes in handy here. He actively picks him off the floor and puts him in the crib, unlike most of the Lakeview nannies. Still, he has the odd moment when he slips up. Sometimes he's just too darn effecient as well. The Freemans want to compost everything for the garden, but the butler throws out overything before they even have a chance. Simon is a newborn, but it's time to try for another baby. They're not successful yet, but with any luck, a sibling for Simon will arrive soon.
