Recap: Brandon and Rosie have their hands full with three toddlers in the house, but they are determined to bring them up well. Rosie makes lots of friends, Brandon starts dating Kennedy Cox, and the kids go on some fun family outings.

The Benson household may be a bed of chaos, but not so at the Karakos house. On Monday morning, the family is up early. The kids have already done their homework, so the adults are able to concentrate on encouraging their personalities, and helping them with their skills.

Keeping on top of their schoolwork has paid off, as all the children bring home A+ report cards.
 Brandon has a very rewarding field trip at work when he discovers evidence of an alien civilisation. He is promoted to Project Leader as a result. Brandon is doing well at his job, but thinking over his life, he comes to the realisation that he really wants to be in the military career. Unfortunately, the military are not currently recruiting, in spite of his constant checking. Shannon has gotten whiff of the Benson boys' RC helicopter. She too takes the high road, and doesn't use it to cheat, but like them, also stresses about the test. She runs outside to give her daddy a hug when he returns home, looking for some comfort. Rosalie is making more and more friends. She's well on her way to making the 20 best friends she would like to have before she dies. Michelle Tse thinks Rosalie is the coolest sim around, and says that she is going to spread the word. Ray Benson calls Rosalie up just before dinner one night. 'Hey Rosie! We're all going out for dinner at Deep Dish. Come and join us!'

'I can't. It's a school night and I need to make sure the kids are in bed,' she responds

'Oh, Brandon can take care of them. Besides, I want you to meet some of my friends, and the boys will be there too. You always love spending time with them'

Rosalie thinks that it's strange for the boys to be out on a school night, but decides to go along anyway, and has a lot of fun. The next day Rosalie decides to embrace the chaos, and has a party. It's still in full swing when the kids arrive home from school with some of their classmates. Everyone has a good time, and Rosalie decides that they should have plenty more visitors.
 Rosalie is also glad to have another elder female friend, Nancy Shaw, and the two often have lunch together. Rosalie is becoming quite a good cook with all the entertaining she's doing. The kids have been pestering the adults for a pet. One morning Rosalie wakes them up early, and introduces them to a sulfur crested cockatoo. The children decide to give him the inspired name of Flappy. Thanks to the encouragement their receive from their dad and grandma, all the children are outgoing and nice. They love having their friends over after school. The house is always busy with visitors, and the phone is always ringing off the hook.

All these visitors make it a little too chaotic to have a bird about, and he often escapes from his cage, making things difficult for the rest of the family. As much as the family loves him, they decide that Flappy would be better off with another family.

AN: Never again am I having a bird in this game. NPCs kept letting him out of his cage, and then he would get jammed by the door, where no one could get through. I ended up having to use cheats to delete him. Grandma is also against having a dog, as two of the neighbourhood dogs get into a scruffle outside the house. Austin Benson and Brandon have a goss about their neighbours. It seems that everyone in the neighbourhood has a crush on the Chens, including the teens!

AN: Don't know what to think about that! It's Christmas and Birthday time, and the now outgoing kids want a big party to celebrate. They dress up in their beautiful formal clothes.

AN: They may not be the most attractive family at this stage, but they still look so nice in their formal wear, which they didn't get to wear much of. The kids all grow up well. Renee is a Child Prodigy, and Rodney and Shannon are Wonder Boy and Girl respectively.

Renee wants to be a Family Sim, like her father, and yearns to be surrounded by grandchildren, like Grandma is. Rodney wants to be a Popularity Sim, and be surrounded by best friends. Shannon on the other hand becomes a Fortune Sim, and is interested in the intelligence career.
 The party has a special guest when Santa appears.

The Karakos triplets have grown up to be beautiful. Now that they are teens, they notice how goshdarn attractive the Bensons are. It seems that Austin has all the girls in the neighbourhood hitting on him. A popularity sim who is actually popular, unlike Rodney, who doesn't really have many friends yet. Shannon takes a particular shine to Austin. Renee also thinks he's kinda cute, but seeing how much her sister likes him, she stands aside. Shannon, ever the bold young woman, takes Austin outside, and directly asks him how he feels. Austin is in a state of shock at seeing his childhood playmate grown up into a stunning young woman, and fumbles out an excuse. 'Err... I don't like women who are good cooks... so.. yeah...'

Shannon is disappointed, but plans to keep pursuing him.

AN: Shannon has two bolts of chemistry with Austin, and I thought they were both too pretty to not have their genes merge. I popped over to the Benson household, and checked that Austin also has two bolts of chemistry with Shannon, but good cook as a turn off. I'll have to change it when I next play him. After a hectic party the night before, the triplets realise that they have forgotten to do their homework. As they scramble to complete it before the school bus, Rosalie can hear Ray smirking at the so called 'order' in the house. The combination of spring and being teenagers makes the triplets yearn for some dating and steadies. Shannon already has her eye on Austin, but the other two don't really know any teenage boys to date! They seem to have the same problem that Taylor Benson has.

With this in mind, they invite the Benson boys on an outing to Fallout, the games arcade, hoping to meet some other teens for Renee and Rodney. They don't, but they still have lots of fun playing computer game competitions and pinball. Shannon once again takes a proactive approach with Austin, and asks him if he's really not interested in her. He's adamant that he isn't. 'Are you sure?' she whispers into his ear as she brushes close to him. It's enough for Austin to admit his feelings for her. Rodney hasn't met any boys he would like to date, but he has met a boy, Gordon Nott, from school, whom he would like to be friends with. Rodney and Rosalie attempt to bring down the house with all their partying. Rodney also goes out on the town for the evening with Gordon. The girls prefer to spend some time brushing up on their skills. They are thinking ahead to college, and want to earn some scholarships. Shannon paints a beautiful landscape, which sells for $270. The taste money making her want to earn something a little more regularly enthuses her to get an after school job at the same law firm as Taylor Benson. As the fortune sim, Shannon is the child with the strongest 'pester power' in making purchasing decisions. First up are some green power sources. She and Rodney would also like cars, but Shannon is a little picky about getting the first rusted bomb that Rodney would be happy with, and decides to save her pennies for a really nice one. The two family sims like to spend time together outside playing catch. Renee also seems to be the one to convert her block building skills from a toddler, into being the one who carrys out the repairs in the house. As she finishes up the cleaning, she can't resist checking out how goshdarn hot she is. Brandon spends his Saturday night with Kennedy at The Cozy Couch Cafe. They take part in some karaoke... ... before Brandon tries some stand up comedy at the open mike.

Brandon wishes to join with Kennedy, even though he's not really in love with him yet.

AN: I know!!! I'm trying to play major life decisions only according to their wants, but this is just turning out strange!
 Rosalie is also out on the prowl, and goes to the local coffee shop to meet some cute men. She sees Kennedy, but obviously her son's boyfriend is off limits. In the middle of the room she sees a HOT young man. She walks up, and introduces herself to him, and finds out his name is Armando Cox. On Sunday, it seems to be dates all round for the Karakos family. Brandon takes Kennedy to the local restaurant for a romantic dinner. This time the two are falling in love. They retire back to Brandon's house for a little woo hoo.

AN: The wants rolled are really strange for this family. I had to work really hard to get Brandon to roll a woo hoo want. He kept wanting to be best friends with various people instead of concentrating on his date. Brandon rushes off to work, while Kennedy, still in his underwear, attempts to make conversation with his boyfriend's son. AWKWARD!!! Rosalie takes Armando to the park for some flirting, before she invites him on a date to Marcos. Rosalie can't resist showing off her toy boy to the host, her friend Nancy Shaw. Shannon takes her crush Austin to sing some karaoke. Somewhere between the duets, the two have their first kiss. Being hormone ridden teens, they start making out on the couch right there. Back at home, Shannon asks Austin to go steady with her, and he happily accepts! While she was out on her date, Shannon met Alvin Futa, another teen. Thinking that one of her siblings might find him a cute date, she invites him over.

'Rodney! Get out of your pjs NOW! I'm inviting a friend over to meet you.' Rodney is not overly impressed with Alvin, but Renee is. They stay up late talking.
