Welcome to my Prosperity Challenge. I've been playing this challenge for a little while, and wrote the stories mainly for myself. Unfortunately I've been having some issues with the story mode, so I thought it might be a good idea to have somewhere else where I can view the albums.

Because I initially only wrote it for myself, there are probably many typos, and comments that will only be interesting to myself. Having said that, if anyone has any constructive criticism, I'd love to hear it. I'm not strictly sticking to the prosperity rules, in that I'm choosing their aspirations based on their personalities, because there's nothing worse than being stuck with a popularity sim with 2 points of shy/outgoing. I did however roll for the number of sims and their starting ages/personalities. There's no real story for the neighbourhood, apart from them getting up to whatever I find amusing. Previously my families would have a set story and plan, but that tended to bore me. This time I'm letting their wants and fears largely drive the action, which has resulted in some amusing happenings.

Let the challenge begin - Round 1 of the Freeman Family, with Knowledge Teen Natasha, and a placeholder mother who disappears as soon as play starts.

Natasha Freeman moves into 12 Settlement Rd. With her mother mysteriously leaving town, she finds herself a job in the Law Enforcement career. The pay is terrible, but it will at least cover the bills

Eager to learn as much as she can, Natasha sets out to build her skills. She aims for the necessary body skill for a job promotion, but she's really interested in cooking and logic. With a beautiful new telescope she buys with what little savings she has, Natasha discovers an intense love of science. With no one to teach her to study, it's difficult to complete homework. That doesn't stop Natasha frm bringing home an A+ report card. On top of this, Natasha receives a promotion at work. She also gets an extra bonus for her tireless care in her work. It may be difficult to advance much further though, as she finds it difficult to make the necessary friends. While Natasha has been keeping heads down bums up with her study, things have been getting a little lonely. She calls her boho acquaintance Nery Turner, whom she met during the Welcome Wagon when moving into the neighbourhood. The music channel is all very well, but Natasha is convinced there are more interesting things to do for fun. She spends her bonus from work on an ant farm. Those critters are fascinating. It's the weekend, and Natasha decides to get out of the house for a bit. The eponymous lake at the local park is mesmerising. Natasha wants some human contact while she's out and about. She strikes up a conversation with another teen, Alvin Futa, hoping they might play on the jungle gym together. A promising start turns sour when they begin irritating each other. A few pokes and shoves later, and the pair are furious with each other.

Author's Note: This all happenend autonomously! She has an average Nice score, yet they went almost straight into the arguing. I've never had that happen before.
Determined not to let one idiot spoil her day out, Natasha cooks up some hot-dogs, and settles down by the pond to eat them with Sandy Bruty. Natasha is curious to spot a witch and her familiar as they visit the park. Natasha still wants to build her skills, but it's tiresome being alone all the time. She invites Nery over, hoping he might be able to help her with her homework. He can't but it's still nice to have someone in the house while she does it herself. After, he joins her for a movie.

Author's Note: I took a photo at the wrong time. I'm going to ignore that kiss Nery is talking about with the teenager, because it's too creepy to work it into the story.
Gazing at the sky, Natasha finds a star that she can't locate on any of her charts. She contacts the SimsCity Astrology Club for assistance. They inform her that she has discovered a new star, and awards her $500 for her efforts.
