 Stupid, noisy radio, why did I set it up to turn on this early? It’s my day off and I don’t have any close friends in this new town either, so why bother? A part of me wished to go back to sleep but, I’m already awake. ‘Why did I even fly to Monaco anyway?’

“Too bad Scott,” I murmured as I sat up my bed and rubbed my eyes. “Guess you have to get up and go.” I dragged my feet to the kitchen, half asleep – half awake – half turning on voicemail. I used to be a morning person, jumping up and down the bed – trying to wake up my older sister Zinnia. But things change when you get old, now I just hate mornings; especially Monday ones. ‘Sorry to intrude my lady,’ says an old man from the playback. ‘My employer requested to meet you, there's an important matter to discuss, today at the Hotel de Paris – 10:00 am sharp. A car will be dispatched to fetch you by nine.’

“And I thought phone scams only exist in poor countries…” I rolled my eyes as I rummaged the fridge.
 ‘It’s about…your inheritance’

Hearing that, I stopped dead at my tracks and my mind triggered. ‘What, who is this guy and why now?’ I pondered. It had been three years since the incident. Even if I was too young to handle the corporation my father left – why wait for three years? I was already legal after one. Before I could think deeper the smell of strawberry waffles danced into my senses – telling me that my breakfast was done. I took it out and set it to cool on the table while I took a shower. At the mirror I gazed at myself. I wasn’t the same person from before. I stopped dyeing my hair blonde, and let it grow to my back and my skin had become lighter. But my eyes stayed the same blue-green color; mirroring my mother’s European origin. As for my choice of clothing – well, still the same old tomboy we knew and loved. “Too bad Scott,” said my mirror clone. “Can’t eat those waffles now. Your ride’s here.” Pulling a sweater over my ragged clothes, I paced to the gate and stopped. “Miss Katrina?” An old man inquired. “That’s me.” He scanned me from top to bottom with a discerning eye; I suppose I’m not properly dressed as an heir. “I apologize if this offends you Miss, but your clothes won’t do.” I scanned myself and shrugged, “We’re just going to discuss my inheritance. Do I need a ball gown for that?” He gave a slight chuckle and shook his head. “You are your mother’s daughter alright. Well then, let’s go.”

He then opened the car door and motioned me to go inside. “And by the way, Miss, I am your late mother’s butler – Sebastian.” He then firmly closed the door. Paced quickly to the driver’s seat and started the engine. An hour later we arrived at Hotel de Paris, where M.A.I. – Miyazama Artificial Intelligence, was supposedly having a meeting. Its specialty was creating A.I. interfaces for small machines, security devices, cars and one day, humanoid robots.

Then it hit me! Of course; they must’ve heard about it – about my completion of Lorelei. ...AND CUT!

That's all I could do for now, I hope I did justice to the original Lorelei =_= durp~ biggest laptop crash in the century destroyed all of my game files.

ahh well~ I hope you like it ^^
