Hope you'll like it! Elizabeth finally arrived home and saw her mom preparing dinner. "Dinner will be ready soon. I'll call you when it's ready unless you want to help?" suggested her mom. Elizabeth shook her head has no, she had other plans before dinner. The words of the gypsy still rang in her head. She quickly dashed upstairs to examine her father's magician hat. Since she couldnt find anyhting she decided to put the hat on and try it for herself. She decided to have fun with the hat. She remembered how her dad used to pull tricks wih the hat and say magic words. She decided to imitate it. To her surprise, bright motes of colored lights started to surrounded her.
"Uh..oh..." she piped as she closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was no longer in her room. " Whoa! Where am I?" she shrieked and started to explore the room. She saw a bookstand, a cauldron, and several books and candles. "This can't be? Where's my room? Am I dreaming...? Where am I?" she wondered. The first thing she approached was the serpent shaped bookstand, she started to flip the pages. She learned that her dad's stories werent just stories but his dad's adventures in trying to keep the treaty among the magical creatures.
"But what was the treaty about?" she asked herself since she couldn't find anything in that book. She approached a green book nearby, she remembered this was one of the books her dad used to read to her. She tried to scan the book, but it was too thick and she could not find anything at all. She checked the medallion in a stand nearby.
"This looks like the medallion in dad's stories..the one that sealed a warlock.." she mumbled to herself. Next she moved to a book shelf and recognized what seemed to be her dad's diary. She pulled that book out and started to scan. It was written in her dad's pemanship.She realized that all of her family members seemed to have known that they werent ordinary.When her older siblings turned seven, they received their special abilities. " But why did they all keep this a secret from me..?" she whispered weakly. She started to scan at the later pages of the book, it seemed to have changed into her mother's pemanship.
" The threat to the treaty is gone but cost the family a great price. It has been our decision, to seal this place and live normal lives. Only the magician's hat can open this basement,in case we need it once again.." read Elizabeth. Meanwhile upstairs, her mom was serving dinner.
" Lizzie! Sweetie, dinner's ready!" called out her mom. " We have a basment?!" gasped Elizabeth as she slammed the diary shut. "This is the basement?" she exclaimed when she heard her mom's voice upstairs. She quickly dashed to the stiars and followed her mom's voice. To her surprise, the stairs led to their 1st floor bathroom.
"An invisible door?" she wondered as she dashed to the kitchen. "Mom! MOm! You wont believe what I just saw!" she said eagerly.
"Just tell me durin dinner, the food's getting cold." her mom told her. At dinner, when Elizabeth was about to tell what she just discovered when a car honked outside their house.
 It was Elizabeth's older sister, Jane. The 2nd child in the Croft family who works as a nurse in a hospital in Veronaville. The family memebers paused dinner to greet Jane. "It's like a family reunion!" smiled Laura as she hugged Jane.
"Of course, Henry's getting married!" giggled Jane.
"Lizzie will show you to your room." said Laura as Elizabeth led Jane upstairs. "Here you are. You'll be staying in Henry's old room." said Elizabeth when they reached a room upstairs.
"I've redecorated it for you. Henry and Alice will be staying in the house next door, the old man who lives there went to Twikii Island. He was kind enough to lend it to the lovebirds to give them privacy." giggled Elizabeth. "Glad to know about hat." smiled Jane as she turned to her younger sister. "So how are you? What's new?" "Did you know that we had a basement? Tha we have powers?" blurted the excited Elizabeth all of a sudden. "What are you talkign about? And why are you wearing dad's dorky hat?" asked Jane nervously.
"No, it's true! A gypsy told me that there was something about this hat earlier and I tried it on. The enxt thing I knew was I teleported to a basement! Our basement!" gasped Elizabeth. "We have a basement?" asked JAne.
"Yes, Just follow me I'll lead you there." said Elizabeth. Jane laughed. "Okay, enough nonesense. We dont have a basement, you must have been imagining stuff." "But I swear... I couldn't have imagine it all! I read dad's diary, you were there in the diary as well, you received your powers when you were 7! You know everything about this as well." said "Enough! Let's go down and eat dinner as well." said Jane with finallity.
" Why wont you give me a chance? Follow me downstairs and I'll show you..." choked Elizabeth. "No..I couldnt have imagined it...I need some answers and I'm going to find them."said Elizabeth as she teleported herself to her room. Jane was startled as light luminated her room and Lizzie disappeared. Jane sat down to compose herself. She felt guilty and upset. She knew Lizzie wasnt lying. She knew what Lizzie was trying to tell her. Their family had a secret, that only Lizzie didn't know. They did it to protect her... jane decided to go to Lizzie's room to make things up. Maybe it's about time that Lizzie should learn about everything. About their family secret. "Lizzie?" she called but non one responded. the room was open and empty. Lizzie wasnt in her room. Could she be downstairs eating dinner already? Jane stared at the magician's hat. What could Lizzie be up to?

    Pictures were great, I know some moan about the thought bubbles and other sims icons in stories, but I always find they add to the flavor and it can be a pain trying to get the right shot. We have similar tastes in magic CC, which I love. Nice to see Boot's Altar and gear in the back ground.
    I feel sorry for Lizzie, having discovered this wonderful (to her) part of her life and for her sister to denie it is hard. But there must be a very good reason, and I look forward to finding out what it is and what will happen to this family in the following chapters!
