Thank you so much for all those who read and rated the past chapters of the story.
I miss the makin magic expansions in the Sims 1. The duels, the carnival and the challenges to get the ingredients for magic. Thankfully, there are several custom contents that can almost recreate the magical experience in Sims 2 again. Hopefully this part of the story can capture some of the 'magic' that expansion had offered.

Ermytnrude the gypsy was taking a break. She decided to get some snack. After the snack, Ermytrude decided to have some fun before returning to her tent.
"Should i pick the caurosel or the bumper cars ?" she wondered. "Hello, Miss Ermyntrude." a voice called from her behind. Ermyntrude spun around and saw a lovely masked lady. "Are you here to get you fortune? Um.. I'm sorry but I'm on a break, Miss Beth Wilson." explained Ermytrude. The masked lady smiled.
"Clever of you to have guessed my name. Your truly have the power of visions. But I'm afraid that power can't help you at all times since you can't control it." the lady spoke. "Uh.. power of visions? what do you mean..?Wait.. a minute are you one of them?" said Ermyntrude as her voice shook. The masked lady bared her fangs as she widened her smiled. "That took you long enough to guess what I am, even with your ability." she mocked. The masked lady stretched her hands and started to hypnotize the gypsy.
"Neverthless you could be useful to us." she declared.
"Nooo!" shrieked Ermyntrude. Answers. That's what Lizzie wanted, and she thought of a way to get them. So after leaving the hat in her bed, Lizzie closed her eyes and focused. After a few seconds, Lizzie teleported back into the carnival. Lizzie was excited since she learned to teleport even withouth the magician's hat. She quickly explored tha carnival, thinking of heading to the gypsy tent when she heard a shrill scream. To her surprise it was the gypsy,and there was a masked lady who was about to hurt her. Lizzie dashed to the scene and held the gypsy's shoulder. In a blink of an eye the two disappear leaving the masked lady dumbfounded. The two teleported at the back portion of the carnival. The gypsy was overjoyed to see Lizzie again. Lizzie felt weak, perhaps it was the effect of using her new gift, she thought.. "You were right about the hat! But I'm confused.."started Lizzie as she turned to the nervous gypsy.
"Okay, enough blabbering, we need to get out of here, quick." said the gypsy. "What? Wait, who was that woman? What did she want?" asked Lizzie. "We don't have much time. She was sen here by them to get me..if you don't leave they'll get you too.Quick, teleport us out of here like you did." explained the gypsy. All of a sudden a thick fog slowly materialized before them. Lizzie wanted to get them out but she was too weak. She was new to this, do using her gifts have limits? The fog formed into the figure of the masked lady. She was upset and stared the two sharply. "Who are you? And what do you want?"demanded as the gypsy shook in fear.
"Hmm.. now who is this?" wondered the masked lady. The masked lady lifted her arms up as Lizzie found herself floating in the air as well.
"Whoa! What the..."gasped Lizzie.
" I have no time for nuisance. You're not the one whom I want." she murmured. As the masked lady gestured her hand, Lizzie was sent flying beyond the hedges.
"No! Lizzie!" screamed the gypsy. The masked laughed and pointed at the cowering gypsy.
"Now, where were we..?" she teased. "Leave them alone!You-vampire!"
It was Jane, she rushed behind the vampire and prepared her stance. She just saw the lady hurt Lizzie, as a black belt she wasn't afraid to face the masked lady. 'Are you all right?" asked the gypsy as she rushed to aid Lizzie.
"That voice..Jane!"said Lizzie as she tried to get up. As Jane fought the vampire with her might, the vamp shook her head and blocked the attacks.
"I have no time for this!" moaned teh frustrated vampire as she gestured her hands once again. Jane felt a strong force push her down to the ground.
"You're telekinetic?" she gasped as the maske lady placed her hands on her hips.
"And you're pathetic." teased the vampire. "Now, watch as I finish off you beloved sister." she laughed once agian and raised her arms. Jane pulled herself together and watched in horror as what that vampire could unleash on her beloved sister. "No!" she exclaimed as raised her arms. Suddenly, a ball of flame ignited from her palms and was hurled towards the masked lady. The masked lady was taken aback but kept her cool.
"Do you think this can stop me?" she asked Jane. Jane closed her eyes. She didn't want to use her 'gifts'. But she was forced to, to save her sister. She knew what her flames can do... With a scream, the masked lady realized too late. Jane rushed to embrace her sister.
"Are you allright?" she asked worriedly.
"I am now." beamed Lizzie. Later the 3 settled in a bench nearby, trying to gather what just happened. "How did you find me? How did those flames come out from your hands?'' asked Lizzie. "Well.. I used the magician hat that you left in your room to go through the secret basement." explained JAne. "And scried for you using water...I found you in the carnival. I asked permission from mom to go out for the night to see what you're up to." continued Jane. "Scried? What's that? Gosh..you actually know so much...how much are you guys keeping things from me?"asked Lizzie. "I'm sorry about denying everything to you just this evening..but I guess it's time for you to know everything about our family..and why we kept it from you. I'll tell you everything about it when we get home." spoke Jane. Jane closed her eyes. After all those years, she never thought that she would have to use her powers again. But it seems that she can't escape her heritage. "Come on, let's go home. It's getting late. The gypsy can join us back home. It seems that THEY'RE on a move again..I guess she needs our protection." said Jane as they all stood up. " You can stay in my room in the lower bunk of my bed. I'll think of a reason how mom could accept you as a guest, don't worry. May I know your name?" asked Lizzie.
The gypsy smiled. "I'm Ermyntrude, but you can call me, Emma. I'm Emma Merwick." Jane looked gently at her sister. She had her reasons why she dreaded her powers..but this time she was glad that she had them..because she was able to protect her sister from THEM.

    For unknown reasons, some storytellers don't like to give out their "secrets"... however, the mods came from MTS2 and J-dee's website, including the electro machine action you asked about.\;\)
