my first story

please enjoy It was about 6 am when Gwen woke up to do her daily duties. She showered, bushed her teeth, fixed her hair, got dressed and did her morning duties as she had always done for the passed 2 years. You see Gwen was the maid, cook, and house keeper for Sir Jack Olive, the famous pianist. At 22, you can say this isn’t the life she thought her IV league background would take her. Ms Mayflower had bigger dreams of becoming a world renowned artist and have her paintings on display in galleries all over the world. Sadly due to some unfortunate events, that wasn’t the road life lend her on. Gwen had to settle to make ends meet. Around 8 am Gwen walked into Jacks room and attempted to gently wake him.
“Sir, its 8 am time to get up. Breakfast will be on the table in 15 mins.” She said softly. “Ugh, fine. Let me get up.” Jack said as he was trying to get out of bed.
Gwen could tell he was a little cranky so she left the room with out another word and made breakfast.
Jack Olive was a decent man. He wasn’t angry, violent, or rude to anyone. Jack was very polite or at least that how is when he has had enough sleep or life seems to be going his way. Otherwise, Jack can be sort of a handful to deal with. When Jacks mother died, Gwen got to see how big of a handful he could be. He was rude, angry, partying all the time, and getting no sleep. It was an awful time for Gwen. Now that his career has taken off, Jack is nothing smiles. Well at least most of the time When Jack got downstairs in his pajamas to the kitchen, he saw that his coffee and waffles were awaiting him.
“Boy when you say 15mins, you really mean it.” Jack said sitting down to breakfast.
“Well sir, I like to be on time for everything. Plus you have busy day today. Would you like for be to read your schedule or do want me to wait till you’re done eating.” Gwen said trying to be professional
“No, No go ahead. I can listen and eat at the same time.” Jack said stuffing his face with waffles. This made Gwen smile and giggle a little as she read him his schedule for the day.
 It was about 1 pm when Jack began walking to his car to leave for the day.
“Alright Ms. Mayflower I’m gone for the day. I expect you to be on your best behavior while I’m gone young lady.” Jack said with a smile joking with Gwen.
“Will do sir, the house is in safe hands” Gwen said laughing.
She thought it was nice that her and Jack could joke around like they do. Gwen had heard from a fellow maid friend she had met down the street that her Master is very cruel to her. Gwen thought she was very fortunate to have such a laid back Master like Jack most of the time. It was around 4 or 5 pm when Gwen had finished her chores for the day. She decided that she take small break before Jack got home at 6. Lying by the pool she heard the phone ring. Thinking it could be Jack’s agent Marley or even the master himself, she rushed answer it.
“Hello, Olive household.” Gwen answered politely
“Are you Gwen Mayflower?” the voice said
“Yes, who is this?” she said with concern
“I am a nurse at the Sunset Hospital. It seems that Mr. Jack Olive has you down as next of kin and we need you to come down immediately.” The voice demanded
“Oh my gosh is Jack ok? What happen?” Gwen sounded worried
“He was in car accident on his way some place. He says he needs you here now.” the voice said
“Alright, here I come.” Without another word she grabbed her keys and left to the hospital, worrying all the way.
