Mental Love - Chapter 6, Part II
Hi guys! Here's part two already. I made this one a little bit faster because I noticed how much all of you wanted that :-).

"Like a hotel? I thought so too!" The girl completed him. She cracked a smile and lifted her head up when she heard a familiar voice. "Brandy!" Serena almost yelled. She flew into her friend's arms and closed her eyes. Flashbacks of her home flashed through her mind. The moment she let go of her friend, that world shattered. She blinked and looked into her friends eyes. Friendly, sensitive, carefree. And then she looked at the immense scar on her face. It reminded her of how carefree she actually was. "My oh my, Serena. Wow, I haven't seen you in a week or so! I've got so much to tell you. But first, where can I find the toilet? I really need to go, you know. And meanwhile I'm gone, you can talk to little Jake," Brandy laughed. She lifted her right hand and tossed her hair gracefully backwards. Her hair smelled like wet Norwegian pinecones.
"It's upstairs," Serena smiled and turned her head to the right. There he sat. Little Jake. Not so little actually. He was taller than Serena. But when they were in kindergarten, Serena was always taller than Jake. "Hi," he slowly breathed out the word. A shy smile appeared on his face filled with freckles. Oh, how she missed the vibrant gleam in his eyes. "Baby, you're the best in the whole wide world ♪ .. "
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Sh.. shall I just go downstairs and erhm .. well I come back when you're ready .. or gone .." Brandy stammered, startled, when she saw a half naked guy standing in front of her. She didn't know whether that made her ashamed or the fact that he could have possibly heard her singing.
The boy turned around and chuckled. "Don't be silly. I'm not naked. Never seen a guy half naked?" he chuckled again. "I'm sorry. Who are you?"
"Brandy. Serena's friend. And you are?" Her head turned red with ebarrasment and she couldn't help her eyes moving down. His body was heavenly.
"Hi, Brandy. I'm Trevor. Nice to meet some of Serena's friends. I don't really know her for such a long time, but she's one of the kindest and sweetest girls I've ever met." Then you sure met alot of girls, didn't you? Brandy thought.
"Aw, that's kind of you to say. She really is. I mean, you'd be a fool if you let someone like her go."
He nodded and grinned. "I've missed you, Serena," Jake said, he put his arm around her shoulders and squeezed her arm carefully.
"Oh Jake," she said in return. She placed the back of her head on his shoulder and stared at his face for awhile.
"I just miss you. You don't know how much," he said and placed his other arm around her back and held her tight. He turned his head to the right and kissed her neck. After a few seconds his lips met hers. Not unnoticed, because there was Abigail, again. She stared at the two and laughed softly to herself. Damn you, Serena, now I've got you! Even though Mrs. Hunt approved your relationship with Trevor, I won't let you get away with this. Oh no, Serena, I won't!
She moved her feet and ran to the stairs. She gripped the wooden handrail firmly as she ran quickly up the stairs. Once arrived upstairs, she searched for Trevor, and found him not far away from her.
"Trevor, I don't mean to rain down on your little parade, but can I talk to you for a second?" Abigail shouted while she panted.
"Go on," Trevor answered after Brandy gave him a nod of approval. His gaze turned from Brandy to Abigail. "Your so-called girlfriend is kissing another boy his lips. If you don't believe me, which you probably won't, then see for yourself," Abigail exclaimed, still gasping for breath.
"Say missy," Brandy interrupted her. "I don't know who you are or who you're trying to be, but that boy you're calling 'another boy' is her boyfriend."
"Shut up, you ... " Abigail started. She raised her eyebrows and was willing to start a riot. "Wow wow wow, stop it, Abigail. What did you just say, Brandy? She got a boyfriend?"
"Yeah, she never told you that?" Brandy cracked an uncertain smile.
He shook his head and squeezed his eyes shut. With stamping feet he walked downstairs. First, Trevor didn't really believed Abigail. But when he came downstairs, he saw them, indeed, kissing.
"What the heck, Serena?" He pointed angrily at her. "What's this supposed to mean, huh?" He looked at the boy with anger in his eyes. Serena squirmed loose and stood up with shaky legs. Her voice quivered along: "Please, Trevor, let me explain." Her eyes shot open of fear. Her lips trembled imperceptibly as she tried to find the words to say. "Don't mind explaining to me, you're just like everyone else. You're nothing more than a big fat liar. You're a piece of garbage. You'll pay for your sins. You don't exist for me anymore," he spitted. He was about to explode. His hands were clenched, his whole body trembled with rage. "Hey you!" Jake interrupted the with anger overloaded guy. "How dare you call my girlfriend a piece of garbage? Would you look at yourself first?" He pushed Trevor away, just to be sure he wouldn't hit one of the two. "Oh, how cute, standing up for that pathetic girlfriend of yours. You two can kiss each others ..." he didn't continue his sentence. "I'm outta here," he shouted and ran away. ... ..... Serena watched him running away. She tried to hold her tears, but eventually she let them rolling down her face. And so they came, faster and faster.
"How.. What have I done.." she sobbed. As she tasted the salt of her tears she repeated herself. "What have I done .." Hesitantly, Serena allowed Jake to wrap his arms around her shoulders. Comforting, he rested his head on hers and whispered: "You haven't done anything wrong, Serena. He's a loser, that's what it is. Everything will be just fine, I promise."
"You're so stupid, Trevor, you're so stupid," he whispered angrily. "You're so stupid, you're so stupid. How could you think she was different? She's like everyone else. Nobody's an exception. Nobody is. Everyone's the same," he said, being in a sort of trance. After a while of repeating the same message to himself he couldn't hold back the tears anymore and showed for the first time his weakness. He hit himself on the head and yelled: "YOU ARE A WEAKLING!"
Frustrated and mad with rage, he hit everything in his presence. Eventually he collapsed and kept on crying like a newborn baby. "Serena.." Brandy said carefully. "Serena, I.. It's time for us to go." With pain in her heart she looked at her best friend. She was still crying. "No," she whispered. "No, no, no! Don't leave me here. Don't leave me here like this!" Serena said louder, still sobbing. "Sssshh," Jake comforted her. "I'll be back as soon as possible. Promise me you'll stay strong. Can you do that for me?" He grabbed her more tight and kissed her on her head. Serena nodded. "I'm so sorry, Serena. I'll try to call you as soon as I got home, promise," Brandy touched Serena's arm shortly and waited for Jake to go home with her. "Stay strong, sweetheart. You'll get through it. Everything will be better. I promise." Serena lifted her hands and placed them on his shoulders.
"I will try my best," she answered him and let go. Jake kissed her one last time and then left with Brandy. With watery eyes, she watched her best friends leave. "Lie. Lie. Liar. Liar, you'll pay for your sins." She repeated Trevor words. Tears flowed again, she wept sadly and cried herself to sleep.
