Introduction: Everyone has a story.
As the sun sets on Central Park, the heart of New York City, another day is gone forever. The trees branches are bare now, the leaves have fallen, Autumn has passed and Winter is impending swiftly.
Every day holds a new tale. If Central Park could talk it would tell an incalcuable array of stories. From the days of its creation by Irish immigrants, to all those who had passed throught it, decade after decade, from every corner of the globe, it would tell us the life stories of millions.
Some of the tales would be heartbreaking, some would be uplifting, some perhaps humorous. Every day, a different story:

So beautifully written, you are very talented. I loved the part with the Ethopian and the Scandinavian and the imagery you conjured of Ellis island, the coming together of cultures, just beautiful... You captured the spirit of winter in NYC quite well and the themes of love/ loneliness fits in perfectly. Really enjoyed this and can't wait to read chapter 1 and find out what happens to Rachel and her kids.

Cool story, the way you blend in "snapshots" of other lives with the main character was like in a movie opening, where there are many clips of different settings and then it pans around to the main story line and character. Really good stuff, thank you for sharing it. Ok, on to read more~!
