*credits to the maker of my CC's* We walked together to school but he never talked. I want to ask him where did he go last night but I don't want to be nosy and we barely knew each other it might be rude. So we continued walking until we reached the school and we separate ways. I was heading at the- “Ooh” I muttered. I totally forgot that its our gym class. So I ran to the locker room and change to my gym clothes. We we're playing volleyball and the boys are playing basketball. We divided the gym in two the other side is ours and the other is for the boy's.
I was fascinated at how good Nick was. All of his movements are so smooth, every dribble he made every shot he made and suddenly “Aww!” Something hit my head and I collapse in the floor. I felt like I was floating so I opened my eyes and “Put me down!” Nick was carrying me. But it seems like he didn't hear what I said “ I said put me down, im fine!” I hissed at him. He looked at me and said “Your head is bleeding and you want me to believe your okay?” “Ooh” I gasped and I touch my forehead and there was blood “But it doesn't hurt.” I whispered. He brought me to the clinic and after the school nurse put a bandage on it he came in. “What happened?” I asked. “You we're supposed to be playing volleyball but you're not paying any attention on it. You're just standing more like frozen until the ball hits you.” I didn't answer. I just keeps on looking at his face and he blushed. He turned his head and said “Go home and rest I'll tell our teachers.”
I stayed at the clinic for one more hour just in time for our next class. I don't want to miss our Lab class. When I reached the classroom Jill was already sitting. So I sit beside her and greeted her first “Hi Jill, you were absent in Gym?” she turned to face me. She has bruises on her face some our covered with bandage. “What happened to your head?” she asked me. “Oh, It's nothing” I answered. “And you?” I asked her. She smiled and replied “It's nothing too.” I regretted what I said so I told her the truth thinking that she might tell me the reason for her bruises too. She was about to say something when the teacher came in. I pouted my lips. How could this teacher always came in, in the wrong time! The class end. Her brother came and they both went out of the room.
I went outside of the school and decided to sit on the bench. And again I saw them Nick with the same company in the cafeteria yesterday and Jill was there too. I didn't notice that Josh has bruises too, actually all of them had! They couldn't be all fell down from a bed! What could a group of teenage do at night that would end up in bruises?
My curiousness grow bigger and bigger. And since next to my room is Nick's room, I decided to put a small hole between our rooms. After dinner I went to my room and waited for Nick to enter his room. Finally he was there. I kept on checking on him but it seems like he was sleeping he's motionless! Im getting sleepy so I went to relax on my bed and later fell asleep. I woke up in the morning dismayed with myself. All of my effort went to waste. We walked to school together again only this time “Pink goes well with yellow.” He said “Yea they're my favorite.” I agreed. “With monkeys on it?” he replied. My cheeks started to burn, he was talking about my underwear! The hole! I growled and he laugh. I was so upset. Im not in the mood to listen that the teacher has to repeat his question trice before I understand that it was meant for me. I tried to remember what the answer is but I cant until the blond girl who sits at my back whispered the answer. The bell ring and its lunch break. I looked back and thank her,she smiled. I was surprise to see that it was one of Nick's friend.
Jill is now on my side “Want to eat lunch with us?” She asked me smiling. I just nodded. I followed them but they went through the cafeteria so I asked “Jill, aren't we eating lunch?” they both laugh “We would have a little picnic outside of school.” the blond girl answered “By the way im Irish Hale” she add. “Im Ella, nice to meet you Irish.” I smiled.
We were now heading at the back of the school the clouds were cloudy. I looked through the trees and I saw Josh together with the other boy. We sat and they give me a box of obento it look so mouth watering. I was halfway on finishing it when I just remembered Nick.
“Here they come.” Josh said I looked up to see that it was Nick with- “Yumi this obento you made are delicious.” Jill said. I looked down, I dont know but I feel like crying. “I didnt know we have company.” Yumi said. “Oh, I invited her I thought-” Jill didnt finished her sentence. Nick and Yumi sit in front of me. I pretended to be eating but the truth is I'm stealing glances at them. She is so beautiful. Her face looks so sweet, like an angel.
Even though hours had passed I cant still get Nick and Yumi from my mind and the scorching from my heart. I looked at the clock and it was 10:00. I hear a noise on Nick's room so I went over to peak at my window and I saw him he was sliding down in the wall and jump halfway on the ground. I entered his room and followed what he did but the walls are slippery and I was falling! I want to scream but I cant find my voice. Im going to die! But something caught me. I opened my eyes and again it was Nick. “What the hell do you think you're doing? He was furious. He put me down. I took a deep breath before answering “I was trying to do what you did.” I answered but it was almost a whisper. Again he was furious. He look at me in the eyes and said “Go inside and forget everything.” he ordered. His eyes were beautiful its like an hypnotic eyes, well actually he is beautiful! We stayed like that for about 3 minutes without moving then I finally say “What?” he looks surprised it was like he was waiting for something to happened. I've waited for him to answer but he just turned around and walk. I followed him and ask “Where are you going?” he looked back and said “It's none of your business!” My eyes were teary. 3 months had passed Nick never talk to me again although me, Jill and Irish continued to be friends. Yes friends. They were so kind and supportive of me. The three of us both came from a broken family, they both lost their mother. I guess thats one of the reason why we are close , it is sure nice to have friends who understands the whole you. Yes I also became friends with “Rob, stopped it!” I sound so pissed. “Come on, just this one, please?” he begged. “They're a lot of other girls there, why me?” “Because I want you.” he answered. I blushed “Im not good at basketball!” “I'll teach you.” he said smiling he recognize the sound of defeat on my voice. “Okay.” I agreed “Yes! You'll enjoy it Ella, tomorrow at 8 let's practice in the gym?” “Okay” I replied.
While eating dinner I took the opportunity to ask permission “Mom i'll be going out tomorrow okay?” She dropped her spoon, she looks so surprise. Well yea i'm surprised too its the first time I ever asked her permission on going out. “Who would you going out with?” she asked breathless “With my classmate.” I replied “Is that a b-boy?” “ Yes mom.” I sigh. Her face went blank so I assured her it wasn't a date “We're just going to practice mom for our Sport festival, we join the basketball game.” “Since when did you started playing sports?” she asked “Since the day a ball hit my head.” I answered sarcastically and all of them laugh except Nick, he looks pissed.
When I reached school I saw Rob sitting on the stairs waiting for me. “You look beautiful.” He said when I reached him. I turned red. “Should we start now?”
Rob is really easy to talk with. He is the only boy I have ever been so close with. He teaches me various technique on shooting and every rules basketball has. He was very patient on me. We finished at 6:00 pm and he offered to walked me home but thats the very last thing I want Mom to see so I refused but he actually ended up walking with me and stop when we were almost halfway to my house. When I entered the house I saw Nick he was standing in front of me. He looks sad, regrets,hurt...I cant read the expression his eyes have. He went closer to me.
And he kiss me. I felt tears drops from my eyes. I know I should stop him but instead I kiss back. He held my face between his hands. He looks me in the eyes, now all I can see is the longings in his eyes. “Im sorry.” He whispered and he kissed me again. I hugged him tightly and so was he. I finally said “Don't be.” “I love you” he whispered. “I love you too.” And thats how our relationship started. Although we keep it as a secret, only the two of us know. I was about to ask him the same but he was the one who asked so I'm glad. Im not ready for mom to know. So I feel guilty every time I'm with them and so as with Jill and Irish but the hardest thing is to hide it from Mom and Steve we live on the same house so we have to be careful not to be so close with each other. Every night is the only time we could be true with each other but like the usual Nick still went out during night but the difference now is that he always kiss me goodbye before he leaves. I still dont know the reason why. I asked him once but he said it would be better if I wont know and i trust him so I agreed and I dont care anymore as long as he's with me, im fine with it. He was about to kiss my forehead when he said “Good luck and I'm sorry for tomorrow.” Yea tomorrow is the Sport Festival. I woke up early than the usual. We walked together to school and when we reached the school I went directly to the locker room to change. When I went to the Gym Rob was already there doing his warm up, I joined him. And the Principal starts the Festival the first event is the basketball so we went to the center to shake hands with our opponents “What the?” I gasped. It was Nick and Yumi so this is what he was sorry for? “So the ex lovers is our new opponents. I wonder what happened to the others” Rob said. “What did you just say?” He looks surprised “You didnt know? They used to be dating a year ago.” He answered. Anger flashed through me.
I didn't shakes hand with Nick. Im mad at him! With been together for 3 weeks now how could he never mention about it? Yumi? The angel like face? How could I ever compete with her? “This is it, lets do our best!” Rob said cheerful. I just nodded.
So the game started Nick was fast and so as Yumi. They never missed a single shot. I saw Nick looking at me he might have sensed the anger I feel. His eyes were apologetic and again full of regrets. I ignored him and continue with the game. Of coarse they won. I went directly to the locker room not bothering about the shaking of hands again! Rob followed after a while. I was just finished changing back to my uniforms when Rob hug me and it wasn't a friendly way of hugging! I am now struggling on his arms “Let me go Rob!” I ordered. “Dont you hear what she said? Let her go! Now!” a familiar voice ordered. It was Nick. Rob finally let go of me and went to face Nick. “She's my girlfriend, so mind your own business!” I was shocked by what just Rob said. He is my friend how could he? “Ella.” Nick called stretching his hand to me. I went to his side ignoring his hand. He put his hand around my waist. “Dont you dare touch my girl again!” He hissed at Rob. Rob was shocked and so was I. “Who are you kidding? Your uncle married her mother, youre living with the same house-
You cant be!” Rob was almost shouting. Nick grinned at him and he lean to face me and kissed me. See you at the next chapter^^,
