HI EVERYONE!
I'm glad you all liked the last part of Night of the Haunting. I got right on to doing this final part so it would get out quicker. For anyone who has just come into this story, you might want to go back and read the first two parts, then that way the story will make sense.
I'd like to dedicate this part to bosnombehar, she is one of the best authors on here and an amazing person.
Hope you all like the conclusion to this story!

Read on... I regreted stepping out straight away.
Why? Because SHE stared at me with flat, scary eyes and a sickly sweet smile on her black lips... "Hello..." Her voice dripped with honey, it was so sweet. "Who are you looking for?"
I didn't respond too scared and frozen too even open my mouth.
She giggled "Your face looks funny. Will you be my friend?"
Her voice sounded distant now. I could take my eyes of her eyes. A chilly wind passed through causing me to shiver but she just stood still, smiling. "We could play all day long and never stop!" she exclaimed, as if I ad answered her question "And then you can come and live with us!" She began to walk towards me. I wanted to move but it felt like my feet were stuck to the floor boards. She was getting closer... I ran down the steps finding my feet. I could feel her cold eyes burn into the back of my neck. "Hid and seek, huh? Okay I'll count to fifty!" I didn't answer her back I ran towards the living room. I stopped when I saw him... "Oh Seth, Thank God! We have to get out of here, I'm starting to see monsters I think. Come on we have to-" "Do you remember the 14th of April 1993?" he asked, his voice low and distant.
I blinked confused. I wasn't sure if heard him right "Sorry, what did you say?"
"Well do you?" He turned and walked towards me. I couldn't help but feel panic rise in my stomach again.
"Y-Yes..." My voice was trembling "T-There was a c-car crash. N-No one survived. They only found a baby boy in the backseat."
"Do you remember the family's name?" He sounded cold and harsh.
What did I say? I tried to remember what my mum told me. She said she witnessed the whole thing, as did dad and they're friends when they were in their...twenties.
My eyes widened as I remembered the name. I felt my blood freeze.
"...You..." He smiled an evil smile, like he was pleased I was scared.
"I thought you would have worked this all out by now, Bec. Why brought you here, why I told you that story, why you 'think' you saw those monters. Well let me tell you something, those monsters are my family." I could fell my hands shake and my stomach in my throat.
"Now let me tell you the real story about what happened. One night, the older daughter of the family got really sick and they drove her to the hospital. They had to take the two twins and the grandmother. But as they were driving along, a bunch of friends in the another car were driving recklessly on the streets. You can guess what happened next...The friends survived, but can you guess who those friends were?"
I stood there not able to think or move. Then it hit me, like the two cars craching into each other.
"That's right" he continued his smile getting wider "Your mum were driving that car. And her friends were Jason Smith, Helen Jackson and David Franks...." David Franks, that was the names of my dad! And the other two were Vanessa's parents!
Seth was the boy who survived...
He was the twin to the other toddler. He was the grandson to that grandmother. He was the brother of that girl.
That's when his plan hit me. He started coming towards me.
I ran..
I ran as fast as I could not even looking back... I ran down the hallway trying to find either the front or back door. The room light up suddenly but I didn't care. I wannted, no I NEEDED, to get out of here! There was the back door. I sprinted towards it. Thn I felt myself crash into something invisable. I quickly sat up and felt what was in front of me. Some kind of surface. I blinked... My reflection showed up. A mirror?! You have to be kidding me!
I threw my head back and yelled "IT WASN'T ME! SETH, IT WASN'T ME! THEY NEVER MEANT ANYTHING BY IT, THEY WEREN'T TO KNOW!!"
And of course no response came...
There was a sound of footsteps.
"Rebecca..." It sounded like five voices at once all weak and cold. Looking back to mirror I stepped back quickly seeing something step toward me. A scream ripped through. It took me a few seconds to realise it was me screaming. I saw them, I saw them all.
I saw Seth's family.
They were pushing out of the mirror reaching out to me. I saw his mother smiling, "Come with us..."
His grandmother was nearly through and His father was...an abomination to look at... I turned around to see his sisters reaching out to me, smiling. "Found you! I'll count to ten this time" the girl exclaimed.
My screaming became louder. They're cold hands from behind me grabbed on to my arms and shoulder trying to pull me into the mirror. I struggled to get free. But then with one lunge foward I was free and I ran for my life... I saw the front door and I knew this one was real. I pushed the doors open and ran down the steps. I could hear them crying out to me to come back. I quickly got in the car . The engine started, thank God. I looked in the mirror and saw Seth standing there...smiling?
Why was he smiling? I didn't care I just drove off as fast as the car could go. I reached home dafely and didn't get could but the police. I turned the car off and just there. What have I done?! I left my brother behind in that house. A frosty chill ran up my spine. How could I have forgotten?
Ryan, oh God Ryan...I'm sorry. I felt tears well up in my eyes... I heard a giggle. It was all too familiar.
The chill run up and down my spine and raised the hairs on my neck. I slowly turned my head to the seatr next to me shock and horror. I screamed as loud as I could, but I knew no one would hear me.
Now I knew why Seth was smiling as I drove off. He knew she was sitting next to me as I drove off... "I found you! Lets play again..." THE END
I guess you all know what happened to Bec...she didn't die.
Not sure what my next story will be but keep an eye on my profile and you'll see. I'm thinking medieval or the sequel to Failed Experiment. Of course I'm too sure, but we'll see.

    The ending of this one reminded me of the movie "The Darkness". You should see it if you haven't!
    I recently had an idea of a spooky story... But this is not really my kind of genre, you make these great. Maybe you would be interested?
