Here's the first chapter. Tell me how I did and sorry for making the intro so short it was just an introduction to the characters, but there are more characters.
This chapter is called "Meeting Henry"
This chapter is called "Meeting Henry" Violet had told me that she read in the paper that one of her favourite actors, Henry Clark was our neighbour. In fact, he lives right across the street from our house. "He lives with his girlfriend,Silvia." says Violet. "It says here that she wants only only his money. She doesn't love him and she never will."
"She's such a diva" says Derek.
"Derek" I said.
"What, that is what it says in the paper" Meanwhile at Henry's home.
Silvia: " Dear, when can we get married? We've been dating a long time and I'm surprised you haven't asked the question yet."
Henry: "Well, Silvia if we get married I would want a family, you know that right."
Silvia: "Yes I'm aware." Silvia: "You know Henry I am not a big fan of kids. Why can't it just be us forever?"
She smiled at him. Henry: "Why do you dislike children?"
Silvia: "Because they are irritating, annoying, and totally irresponsible."
Henry: " Kids are kids you have to teach them how to be polite and other things. You can't expect them to just be born quiet and responsible." She got out from under his arm and started to leave.
Silvia: "I'm going out." Later in the afternoon at Carey's House.
I was making dinner, but the stove broke.
Carey:"Great, now I can't make my family dinner." I called to Violet," Violet! Watch your brothers I will be right back."
Violet: "Sure,whatever."
I walked over to the neighbours house, but no one was home.
Carey:"Guess were having leftovers." We ate dinner and then everyone went to bed. I tucked the twins in and said goodnight to Violet, but all I got back was whatever.
I sleep on the sofa, because I could only afford a two bedroom house. I made sure that my kids had somewhere to sleep first. There the only piece of there father I have left. I live a hard life, but I'm ok with it. The following day,
Carey:"Is everyone ready for school, because the bus is here."
Violet: ready
Twins: ready The kids got home from school quicker than I thought.
Carey:"hey violet, how was school?"
Violet:"fine" she had her head down.
Carey:"what is wrong with your eye?"
Violet:"nothing"
Carey:"STOP! don't move untill im done taking the trash out."
She didn't move an inch. Carey:"Violet, I told u not to get into any more fights."
Violet:" I'm sorry and why do u even care."
Carey: "Because I'm ur mother I'm the one who gave birth to u.""Of course I'm going to care. Violet had gotten into another fight at school and got a black eye. I grounded her for a week. The next day, I decided I would go for a jog and I did. While the kids were at school of course. I jogged by the neighbours house,but stopped and backed up when I saw someone in it.
So I decided to go meet them. I was a little nervous, but I rang the doorbell. I was greeted by a very handsome man. This must be Henry Clark.
Carey: "Hi,are you Henry Clark?"
Henry: " Yes and let me guess your a fan and you want a picture or an autograph, right."
Carey: " No,No,No, I came by yesterday but no one was home.My stove was broken, but I fixed it."
Henry:" Oh,then how do you know my name?"
Carey: "My daughter is a huge fan of urs."
Henry:"Oh really?""Tell her I said that her mother is a very nice person."
Carey: "Sure I will be sure to tell her that" My cheeks flushed red. Carey: " Well I guess I better get home my kids will be home soon,goodbye."
Henry: "Wait, I didn't get ur name?"
Carey:" Its Carey"
Henry:"Carey, since I wasn't here the last time when ur oven was broken. Would you like to go get some lunch tomorrow with me?"
Carey:"Sure, I would love that, goodbye now"
Henry:"Goodbye, Carey. See you tomorrow."
Carey: "You too."
Did that just happen?
Oh my gosh I wander what Violet will think?
Wait,doesn't he have a girlfriend?
Well technically its not a date were just going for lunch as neighbours....
Violet:"Hey Mom where have you been?"
Carey: " I was talking to the neighbours."
Violet: " you mean Henry Clark?"
Carey: "No the other neighbours."
Violet:"Oh." I smiled so big. My cheeks were still flushed I hope no one notices. What is going on with my mom. I have never seen her smile like that since my father passed away. What is going on with her?Something is up and I'm going to find out what it is.
