Hello! My name is Tania Strahov (ex Govich) and this is my not-so-secret online diary.

Hello! My name is Tania Strahov (ex Govich) and this is my not-so-secret online diary. The car accident was almost deadly. Everyone right there thought that I was dead.
I survived the accident, but I had to spend one month in the hospital. I had no serious injuries on my body, just a few bruises on my face. Vladimir felt very guilty, he started to cry when he found out about what happened to me. I wasn't worried for me, I was worried for my Alyosha. She ran away from home the same day I had the accident.
After a month I left the hospital. I had my head bandaged and my bruises on my face. I wasn't happy to get back home... without my Alyosha there. Vladimir told me that she probably lives somewhere with her boyfriend, Josh. We called her a few times, but she didn't answer. Our neighbours also told us that even the Law's (Josh's family) are very worried about their son. They didn't know nothing about Josh as we didn't know nothing about Alyosha. The police couldn't find them. We were in a desperate situation. I got back to my job as a playground monitor. One day I had a great surprise. Mrs. Law visited me.
"Hello, Mrs. Strahov. My name is Aleksandra Law, Josh's mother."
"Hello! Nice to meet you."
"You probably know the reason for wich I want to talk with you."
"Yeah... Could it be our children?"
She was a pretty blonde woman. She looked younger even though she was almos 40 years old. I found out that she was a russian too, but she married an american, Mr. Law. It was a surprise for me... I thought that a russian has to marry a russian. For her this was just a stereotype. We talked a lot about our problem and she told me a terrifying story.
She has another son, older than Josh, called Tony, that is hospitalized for 10 years now. She told me that he has mental problems, and they just couldn't keep him home because they couldn't handle his crisis.
Even though they are pretty rich, still they can't afford to pay for Tony's hospitalization so Josh had to give up the national college to go to a normal high school. Josh wants to become a doctor and he knows that a normal school won't offer him the same opportunities. He wants what's best for him but at the same time he struggles a lot for his brother. He needs money to pay the taxes at the national college. "I am so sorry to hear that, Mrs. Law. If I had known!.. I could really obtain a scholarship for Josh! I have a lot of friends in the education branch."
Soon the mystery of the stolen crystal was not a mystery anymore. For sure Alyosha sold it to help Josh with money. She ran away because she probably thought that I won't help him in no way. Maybe she thought I will punish her! Poor children! I started to cry.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Strahov. Soon we will find them, I promise! I would really appreciate if you could help Josh. We can't do anything. We just can't afford the hospitalization AND the national college."
"Thank you, Mrs. Law. I think I misjudged you and Josh. Now I realise you are different."
"This words mean a lot to me..." she smiled.

Aleksandra promised me to call me whenever she finds out something about our children. Meanwhile...
"You have to go to school! At least you..."
"But, Josh... I have to help you with your job. You really need that money!"
"You already did a lot for me, Alyosha. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate it, but you really have to go to school. A month, Alyosha! A month!"
"A month without schoold was... paradise!" she started to laugh.
"I really want to help you, Josh... You are my first love! I want to be with you for the rest of my life!"
"Do you? But... Alyosha... these words... you really mean it?"
"I do, Josh. I realised that you are everything I want. I want to help you no matter what! This month was awesome even though we weren't surrounded by all that wealth. No matter how poor or rich we are going to be, I want to be with you. YOU!"
"Oh, Alyosha..."
"I just don't understand how my parents... oh.. I just hate them! They think you are a bad guy."
"Yeah... this kinda sucks!"
"Indeed!" she started to laugh.
"You should get into that bus, girl!"
"Do I really have to?"
"Yup!"
"Okay then... Bye, Josh! I love you!"
"I love you too!"
She left him behind... Alyosha started to tell her classmates how wonderful was her month with Josh. They couldn't understand... "They are just empty inside..." she thought. Many of her friends started to make fun of her in a childish way:

"Josh and Alyosha
Sitting in a tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G! "

She didn't care about anything they told her. She was happy.
"Hi, mom. This is Josh. Yeah, I am fine. Listen... call Mrs. Strahov and tell her that Alyosha is at school. Yes... Car accident?! Is she okay?.. Good! No, mom.. I'll get back home too. Love you!" Even though I promised myself that I won't ever drive a car, I was so eager to see my Alyosha again! I don't know how I got there... that fast. I couldn't wait to hug my daughter to tell her that I was sorry, to bring her back home... to tell her that I was proud of what she did.

To be continued,

Tania
