Yep, it's here already. Right when i got my first rating and comment on chapter one i went crazy and started writing. So, here it is! Enjoy! n_n

-I'll peel you banana I leaned on my house wall, starring at the grave in thought. My phone suddenly interrupted my thoughts. It was mom. I didn't even get to say hello before she started blurting out words. "Hey honey, hows things?"
"Gr-"
"Thats great!" She sounded like she was running. "Now honey, i wont be coming home for a week! the film crew schedules got a little mixed up and i was supposed to be in Alaska this week not the next, so i have to fly there now." She must have been rushing to her plane.
"Oh ok-"
"You'll be good, right? Of course you will, your you! Don't get into any trouble! I'll be home soon, Love ya!" There was a banging noise and the line with dead.
"What the Heck.." I mumbled. I sighed. What kind of luck do i have! With her being gone i have tons of time to solve this case! There was a slight rumble of thunder. I was about to head inside when the smell of something burning sent a chill up my spine. The sound came from inside. Before i did anything i looked down to see if Penelope gnome was still there...nope, she was long gone. I groaned and marched back inside the house. When i walked in my cat darted past me and out the door. There was racket coming from the kitchen and humming. "What now." I groaned, something I'd been doing a lot lately. I walked hesitantly into the kitchen to find Eliza up and stirring something in a bowl sending specks of whatever it was flying. There was a mess all on the counter and the fridge door was open and looked like it was almost empty. I looked over at the oven, it was on. "What. Are. You. DOING!?" I shouted. She jumped sending the bowl flying. It landed sending the contraption everywhere.
"I thought i'd cook you a meal for taking me in until my family comes to take me home." She said with a smile.
"Who said i was.." I trailed off, putting a palm to my face. "Okay, whatever. Just don't do it again." She gave me a nod and began to walk off into the living room. I heaved a heavy sigh as i looked around the room. What a migraine i had. I walked into the living room to find her sitting on the couch like she was waiting for me. She turned and smiled at me. "You were outside for a while. I'm guessing you found the grave." I arched my brow.
"I was just about to ask you about that." She sighed.
"Well, i never actually died, you see. I'm immortal." She smirked up at me. She motioned for me to sit in the armchair beside the couch she was on. I plopped down on it. "I'm not just immortal. I'm a Time traveling witch." I felt my facial expression change from shocked to, are you kidding me, in no time. It sounded like some kid's dream who's obsessed with twilight and Harry Potter.
"Haha, no. Your crazy." She suddenly stuck up her head and folded her arms.
"Excuse me! But if i was lying how would i know about the grave, hm? How about my eyes? hmm?" She asked. I sighed. She had a point. Maybe i should believe her. I mean why not? It could make a good story... "Fine. I believe you now. But i'm still doing my research." She giggled. "What?"
"Well you won't find anything on me." She said. "I was like a no one way back when. Only people i helped knew me. And besides, do you even know what the towns people would do to me if they found out i am what i am?" I nodded. She was right on that. "But you can find a ton of books on me and family in the magical library. But thats way up in the clouds, such a long flight." As much as i wanted to know why and how there was a magical library in the clouds, i ignored it. I wouldn't understand anyway. After that talk i went to bed. I woke up early in the morning from my phone ringing. "Please don't be mom." I mumbled. I looked at the caller ID. It was Mouse. Mouse is my very best friend. Her real name is Cathleen. Everyone calls her mouse because of her hair style. "Hello?" I said all groggy. She giggled.
"Hey you, i'm outside! Did you forget about our super duper fun day out today?" She was always full of energy. I shot up. With everything that went on i completely forgot.
I shot up and ran to my dresser. "Hold on, i'll be right down." Luckily i was able to speed dress. I darted down the stairs and ran right into Eliza, who was in a pink dress that had no sleeves this time. "Excuse me." She smiled. I ran past her and opened the door. There stood mouse with a big smile.
"Hey, Hey, Hey!" She said. "Now come on, there's a sale down at the bookstore so come..on.." She suddenly trailed off as her eyes looked behind me. I turned around.
Eliza was standing behind me with a smile. I sighed. "Mouse this is El-"
"Eliza?" She finished.
"Yeah, you know her?" I asked. "WAIT YOU KNOW HER?"
"Hello Mouse!" She greeted. My jaw dropped in shock.
"How do you know Eliza?? HOW!!??" Eliza laughed.
"She's immortal too. Except she's not a witch she's part cat like her mother." Eliza said casually. I stared in shock at Mouse, who was looking at me apologetically. "You have GOT to be kidding me." I groaned.
"I'm sorry i didn't tell you.." She said.
"How come you don't have any cat ears or a tail?" Eliza suddenly pointed to a ring on her Mouses hand.
"That ring controls the magic that makes her half cat. When she takes it off she'll turn into her true form." Mouse nodded.
"Yeah." she said. "I'll show you..If you've already met Eliza this shouldn't freak you out too much." Eliza rolled her eyes.
Mouse slipped off the ring and a little tornado surrounded her. I gasp and took and jumped back. Eliza just stood there. When it was over, i couldn't believe my eyes. Ears, a tail, a different hairstyle and shirt. "Okay, i understand everything else but the shirt and hair?" She sighed.
"The ring is getting old. I've had it for about 80 years." My jaw dropped so low it really could have hit the floor. "When it gets kinda old it starts taking things from the last time you took it off and puts it on you the next time you take it off."
"Oh." I said. She slipped the ring back on and she changed back into the Mouse i knew.
"Sorry again." I sighed and looked over at Eliza, who was looking at me strangely.
"Didn't you have that on yesterday?" I looked down at my outfit and gasp.
"ehh..i need to go change. Mouse, I need to show Eliza around. Do you mind." She shrugged.
"Sure." We all walked in and i went to go change. After i changed, Mouse drove us to the bookstore's cafe. The ride there was kind of annoying because Eliza kept freaking out about how amazing and scary it was to be in the car. When we got to the cafe Eliza went around in the bookstore and Mouse and i sat outside at one of the tables. "This is all so crazy." She shrugged. "How did your dad find out?" She looked up in thought.
"Well," She said giggling. "He really loves cats. So he loved my mom even more when she showed him her true form." We both giggled.
"Wow. So how do you know Eliza?"
"Are families are allies." I looked at her with a confused expression. "Did Eliza explain to you how there are dark magical beings?" I nodded.
"Yeah."
"Well, being Allies with another family means the families will help each other out when some big fight breaks out. It's a really good system. It also helps keep the dark ones at bay." She said. "I hang with Eliza when i go to the magical world." I nodded.
"So whats it like? The magical world?" She looked up in thought.
"Man, i wish i could show you, but only magical beings can see the magical world and also enter it." I pouted.
"boo. I've become very interested in it." "Well...there is a way." Eliza suddenly said. Mouse and i both jumped. I swear she came out of no where.
"Eliza don't even think about it. We can't change her." Eliza put her hands on her hips.
"It's up to her really." Eliza looked at me. "Do you want to be a magical being?" She asked with a smile. "You can be like Mouse, a cat, like me, a witch, and theres other options too, like a fairy, werewolf, vampire, ect." She said, pulling up a seat from another table and sitting down. "But werewolfs are just out of control and Vampires always have the annoying craving for blood." She said. "So what do you say?" I looked at mouse.
"What do you think i should do?" Mouse sighed.
"I didn't want to tell you, but i'm moving back to the Magic World. I won't be able to come back. If your not magical i will never get too see you again. But wouldn't that be selfish? You should do what you want." I scoffed.
"Well now i'm sure on what i'm going to do! Change me Eliza." I said with confidence. Eliza squeeled.
"Yay! So what do you want to be? Choose wisely, you'll be stuck with it in the end." I sighed.
"That i'll have to think about."
"But wait, don't you want too think about the downsides here?" Mouse said. "You might not ever be able to see your mom again or your cat. Your whole family isn't magical. Imagine coming back with eyes like Eliza's." She had a point. "I know! I'll wear a ring like the on you have." She sighed.
"It's not that easy. These things are hard too make. You'd have to pay a very skilled witch too make one." I looked at Eliza.
"Oh, yes. Well i can get my mother too make it. She loves newcomers. She'll be happy too." Eliza grinned. I clapped.
"So it's settled!" Mouse really didn't look to happy about it, but put on a strange smile. Eliza suddenly got up from the table and walked back over to the books.
"Are you sure?" Mouse asked. She had a lot of concern on her face. I don't know why.
"I don't know..i still have to figure out what i want to be." She sighed.
"Thats great." There was something going on with Mouse. I could tell she didn't want me to become a magical being. But then again, i wasn't really sure if i should either.
