Dear Mom and Dad-
Well, I'm all settled here at La Fiesta Tech. Decided to major in art.
I've been meeting a lot of people. They're alright, not perfect, but I'll live. I've gotten invited to a few parties already.
There's lots of studying, though, don't worry! I won't flunk.
How's high school starting out for Marcy? Give her my love.

Hey Sheila-
People keep on wandering into my dorm room at night.
Isn't that weird?
Does that happen to you, too?
Anyways, La Fiesta Tech is great. How's "The Academie?"
Does it have a pool on campus?
La 'Tech does.
No one ever swims in it, though.
See, it also has treadmills, so mainly it's the exercise junkies that come here.

Jen-
Hey girlie!
How's the dance group going? I miss it so much.
There's no one very interesting here on campus.
Especially in my dorm.
They all leave me with the cleaning and bills. Rude much?
Well, there is this one guy. His name is Mitch. We're hitting it off pretty well.
How about at Sim State?

Dear Mom and Dad-
Class is leaving me exhausted.
Between actually being in class, studying, and doing necessary things like eating and sleeping, I don't have any time to hang with people, or walk around campus.
Missing home, of course.

Hey Sheila-
I've finally found your doppelganger! I happened to see her while swimming on campus.
She looks so much like you, it's creepy.
Anyway, have you found that secret society yet?
You promised you'd tell me, don't forget!

Jen-
I've tried convincing some girls in my dorm to start a dance group with me, but so far I'm just dancing by myself in the hallway.
Depressing, much?
Anyways, I'm getting closer with the guy I told you about, Mitch. He's really nice.

Dear Mom and Dad-
Sophmore year, here I am!
The work's already increasingly harder than it was last year.
How's things back in Driftwood?
How's Marcy doing?
Can't believe she's a sophmore!

Hey Sheila-
God I wish I had a car on campus.
My class is an hour away from my dorm, and taxi money is really high right now.
What I wouldn't give for my old clunker of a truck!
So, as for guy gossip, I've got some, just like you asked me for.
There's this really cute guy, Mitch, who I met on campus. We've been actually date dating for about six months now.
He's really nice.
If you come home for winter break, I'll introduce you to him.

I've started a study group with some kids in my dorm.
You know, 'cause studying is insanely boring and studying with people you barely know makes it about 5% less boring.
Me and Mitch are still going strong.

Dear Mom and Dad-
I've really started painting a lot.
It's so relaxing, a really nice break from the hectic classes.
No, me and Mitch aren't planning on engagement anytime soon.
It's nice that you like him so much, though!
By the way, I'm sending Marcy a good luck charm for her play. Give her love for me.

Hey Sheila-
I really love that exercise routine you showed me, it's totally great!
I've been researching that secret society you're on about, and I think I've made a breakthrough.
It seems to be mainly involved in criminal activity, there have been a significant amount of arrests where the site is rumored to be located.
You're welcome!

I can't believe you're engaged!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I'll be your maid of honor. And when you have kids, I'll be the godmother.
Just kidding!
About the godmother thing, nothing else.
In other news, I got one girl to join my dance group. She's pretty good.

Dear Mom and Dad-
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!
Just in case I didn't say it enough over summer vacation.
My new house is wonderful, and it's so nice to not be in a dorm with ten other people all the time!
So, again, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Hey Sheila-
I broke up with Mitch.
God, I'm such and IDIOT.
I broke up with MITCH, for crying out loud.
My soul mate!
We've been arguing for a while now, and finally it got to the point where we agreed seeing other people for some time would be a good idea.
STUPID, STUPID, STUPID, I'm so STUPID!!!!
I miss him so much, Sheila.
How am I going to do this?

Jen-
I've been keeping up with the exercise regime you showed me over the summer.
It keeps my mind off of Mitch.
I still haven't gone out with anyone, so I won't have a date for the wedding.
Still can't wait for it, though.

I went on a blind date with a guy named Steven.
He's nice.

Can you believe it?
I'm almost graduated!
I can't believe Marcy's going to be in college next year.

Hey Sheila-
I'm actually making friends on campus.
Of course, I wait until I'm out of a dorm and in the last year where I'll ever see these people, but, still, friends.
We talk, have lunch and stuff.
Nothing that could ever replace the late-night phone conversations and sleepovers that we shared.
Can't wait to see you this weekend.

I can't believe you're having a baby!!!!!

Hey Sheila-
I can't believe you're moving to Veronaville!!!!
What happened to living in identical houses next to each other and having our kids get married to each other?
I'm going to miss you so, so much.
I love the diary you got me (especially the color- gorgeous!!!) but no way will it replace having you to talk to.

That's right, Steven and I are engaged!!!
We've been talking about it for a couple of months now, and finally we decided to "get hitched."
We haven't talked plans yet, but I'm so excited!!!!
By the way, Emily is a completely adorable name. Perfect name for a baby girl, good pick!

Dear Mom and Dad-
Thanks for the house, it's a bit small, but it's good for now.
I found a job as a dishwasher.
Minimum wage and long hours, but it works for now.
Believe it or not, but I'm actually missing college!
