The Perfect Family: Part 1 - Bringing up Fiona
Hi and welcome to my new story. I have not written a story in a while so this has been a challenge but hopefully you will enjoy it.
Hello I am Jennifer and this is my husband Henry and my two year old daughter called Fiona. We have just moved into our new house, which is in Bluewater Valley. Our house is very big. Infact it is so big I will give you a tour of it.
This is the entrance of the house. We have a bird cage but no bird yet. This is the living room. We are going to use this room as a party room too as it is so big. This is the study. We have two computers and a wounderful bookcase. As you can see Henry likes to spend time on the computer playing games. This is the main bedroom where Henry and myself sleep. This is Fiona's room. She loves pink so we had to make sure everything was pink. This is the kitchen. We are going to hire a butler so we will not be spending lots of time in here although I would like to cook sometimes. This is the back garden. We have a large swimming pool and a small play ground for Fiona. This is the quiet area where we like to come and relax. And finally this is the church. When we bought this house we where shocked to find the house had a church at the back but we were also pleased about it. We hope to have many celebrations in here. Henry and I take great pride in bringing up Fiona in away that helps her grow up knowing that she has learned everything she needs to learn. We also love to play with her and she loves it to. I tend to teach Fiona the basics because Henry is at work alot of the time. I am a teacher which helps me to teach Fiona. When I am at work the butler looks after Fiona. I love teaching Fiona new things like learning to walk. And teaching her how to talk. It is part of my job being a parent and it is important for Fiona to learn these skills. When Fiona is a sleep or busy playing I get the chance to do one of the other things I love to do and that is playing the piano. I love music and dance! Henry is in the army so he is away alot. But when he is at home we make the most of it and he is a great dad to Fiona. Fiona is a very busy child. When she is not being taught things by me she is learning through playing. She loves to play with the blocks. She also love music. It must run in the family! Henry and my relastionship is very story we are in love with each other very much. Years passed and it was Fiona's birthday. I could not wait for her to become a so that she was not depending on me as much and she can learn more about the world herself. Fiona grew up very well. She looked like she was ready for school and what her childhood would throw at her. We decided to invite the headmaster of the private school round for tea to try and get Fiona into the school. The headmaster was very pleased to accept Fiona into the school. It was so nice to spend time with Fiona and be able to sit at a table with her to eat our food. Fiona loved going to school. Even though she got homework she was still happy and she made sure that her homework came first along with school. Halloween was approching and I decided to take Fiona shopping so that she could have her hair done and get some new clothes. I also wanted to get some new clothes for Halloween. I bought lots of clothes for Henry, Fiona and myself. Fiona had her hair done up and she put on one of her new dresses. She looked even more grown up. On the night of Halloween i decided to throw a party. Henry dressed up as a gorilla, Fiona dressed up as a pirate and I dressed up as a clown. I bought lots of scary lights which filled the garden. Fiona loved dressing up as a pirate. Henry however was not very pleased about being a gorilla. Some of Henry's work friends thought that he looked very funny. Fiona really got into the charater of being a piarte. The watch tower was alot of fun for Fiona as she could watch everyone from high up. The party went very well and very one enjoyed it. As the weeks went by Christmas was coming up. I had a day off so I decided to go shopping for some presents for Henry and Fiona. I got lots of things for them. I just hoped they liked them. On Henry's day off he had the same idea as me which was to go shopping. The days went very fast and before we knew it, it was Christmas Eve. The Christmas tree made the room look bright and the presents under the tree made everyone very excited. The snow started to fall, which made the garden look very white. Henry decided to go in the snow to get the mail. He then decided to make a snowman. He loved being outsite. That nigth when everyone was in bed Father Christmas came to the house. We left him some cookies, which he loved. I came downstairs so see what he looked like. We danced for a while and then he left. On Christmas morning Fiona got up and got dressed. She the came down stairs to look at the presents. When Henry and I got up with exchanged gifts. We all got presents from each other. Fiona could not believe how many presents she got. She even shocked us by giving us presents. I then gave Henry his present. He loved it. He then gave me a present. Inside were lots of flowers. They were so lovely. I then cooked a Christmas dinner. We all sat down and ate the dinner. Later on Henry and I kissed under the misaetoe. Christmas was the best one we ever had. It was not long before it was New Years Eve. It was also Fiona's birthday. We decided to have party to celabrate Fiona's birthday and New Years Eve. We decided to dress in our formal outfits. I went outside and lit a firework. Everyone loved it. Inside Henry lit a different firework inside which made a great impression. We then all gathered in the dinning room where we watched Fiona blow out her candles. Once again Fiona grew up very well. It was finally time to wave good bye to the year and welcome the new year. Everyone gathered outside to celabrate. Henry and I kissed to the new year. We then all went inside to have something to eat. A few months past and Fiona asked me if I would give her driving lessons. I thought that it would be a good idea as she was going to college very soon. We went to the pet shop so that Fiona could get a bird. It was a late birthday present from us. She called it Polly. The time had come for Fiona to leave and go to College. The day before she left we throw her a party. The theme was hula. We all dressed up apart from the guests. Dancing became a hit with everyone. The party went very well. Fiona had a great time. The next day we had breakfast. It was Fiona's final breakfast before she left. The time had finally come for us to say good bye to Fiona. Fiona gave me a big hug. She then gave her dad a hug and said goodbye to us. She left the house felling very proud. I could not believe Fiona was going to College. Fiona got in the taxi and she left to start her new life as a young adult.
The End of Part 1
Next time: In part 2 the story will show Fiona's live at college. How will she cope on her own with other students and will she be able to keep up her good grades?
