Welcome! hugs to all! Don't worry I haven't forgotten the Clay Legacy, I'm just weird and had an unusual urge to retell a fairytail ^_^

~The Princess and the Pea~
Once upon a time, nestled in the hills of a very far off kingdom, there lay a castle. The most elaborate and beautiful castle all the townsfolk had ever seen. What else to house the most royal family in all of the kingdom? Prince Edward lived with his mother and father. King Harold, and Queen Cecilia. Edward longed for the day in which he wouldn't have to live under his father's thumb any longer. But before that day there was one thing he had to do...find a wife to help carry on the royal family.
He would meet hundreds of beautiful, and some not as pretty, women who all wanted the same thing...
To be the next queen.
Month....
After month... After month.... and he got sick of it. One day after the regular group of girls had dissapeared he confronted his mother.
"Mother I cannot do this anymore, I mean it's not getting anywhere."
"What do you mean son? You're doing great, and all the young ladies love you" she patted him on the back.
"No! That's not what I mean, I don't LOVE any of them. When I kiss each one's hand sparks don't ever fly. It's a lost cause" he sighed "I want to find my wife, not have YOU do it for me." "That is absolutely not going to happen!" A voice rang out from the back of the ballroom. King Harold walked over with a frusterated look on his face. "Son, you will find one soon enough, there are plenty of more girls to meet" he pointed at his son "and if not, WE will just choose one for you." "Father I know that there are many more, but I bet not one of them is the right wife for me...and I want to pick my own wife, not have someone else do it, like I said."
"Now listen to me son" the king was beginning to get angry "your mother and I are in charge of this. If you cannot find one by the end of this month, we will select a young lady weither you like it or not." "Father this is ridiculous! I should be in charge of choosing who I will be with for the rest of my life!" And with that, Edward stormed out of the castle without another look back. Queen Cecilia walked over. "Ugh look what you did, you could've just told him calmly without having to raise your voice." "That boy needs to learn to respect his father and follow royal family tradition!" The King crossed his arms.
"Well I am going to go talk to him" she sighed and walked out.
Cecilia found Edward fishing in the garden pond muttering angrily to himself. "Edward" she began "I want you to give this another chance. I know your father sounds unreasonable but hes right, there are many more girls out there and I'm sure you will find someone soon enough." Edward just stared into space. "Plus, I invited some young ladies from far off kingdoms to the castle, and they'll be staying with us for about a week. So I need you to give this a chance." Edward closed his eyes and put away his fishing pole. "Alright, I'll meet them." "Oh wonderful!" Cecilia turned around "oh and looks like ones coming now." Edward sighed. A young lady with a magnificent necklace came up and curtsied. Queen Cecilia introduced them.
"Hello I'm Samantha from the Kingdom Farnell. It's a real pleasure to be staying here with you all" she said cheerily. Edward couldn't say anything more than "thank you for staying with us" because he was too busy staring at her rather large nose.
Suddenly there was a sharp cough behind the two. A lady appeared. "Uh Samantha" the woman looked at her perfectly manicured nails "the King wants you, he's in the far side of the castle, you better hurry."
"Well what does he want me for?"
The lady looked up with a threatening look on her face "I dont know" she snapped "he just called for you."
Samantha hurried off with a confused look on her face and the lady walked over, she curtsied.
"Hello my name is Juliet" she said in a smooth voice "it's a pleasure to be here." Juliet was rather stunning with the roses in her hair and her beautiful red eyes staring straight at you.
"It's great to meet you" Edward smiled, he had to admit, this lady scared him a little "well it's getting dark, I better start heading in." Edward hurried off.
"Yes" she replied "but don't worry, you will be mine" she said with a sure look on her face. ... Later that night rain started to pour. Someone ran on the wet grass over the stone bridge and to doors. The person softly knocked complaining about their sopping wet clothes. Edward quickly came to the door, for he was in the entrance hall pacing because he was unable to sleep. When he peered out into the darkness he saw a peasant girl. Her tattered dress and apron were drenched and mud was rolling down her scared face.

Which is really aggrivating because I'd love to see the pictures with this story. I got to the part where Anastasia came to the castle, and they stopped working. So, I'm going to leave it for awhile and come back. So far, the story is amazing, I can't wait to finish it!\:rah\:
