Hello all! and WELCOME to the first chapter! This is the start to the second series of Tomb Raider stories, so if you want to start from the beginning there are a whole bunch of chapters for the Scion of Atlantis. But fortunately, if you haven't read them you'll still be able to follow along because this story is rather independent from the other one.

Also as a side note this is my 100th story! I can't believe I've actually gotten to that number! I published my first story in early 2008, so I've almost been writing here for 4 years :) so I encourage you if you've been thinking of writing to take the plunge!! It's a lot of fun and there's a great community here at TSR that are always wanting to help a newbie :)

Lastly a quick side note to the side note, just wanted to REALLY thank all the custom content creators, you have no idea how much work they do until you start creating custom content. Ahh so many intricate meshes.

Anyway I'll stop writing now and let you get on with the story.....

Anyway I'll stop writing now and let you get on with the story..... “Just because no-one’s ever caught one doesn’t mean they’re not real” A young Lara tells her mother.
“That is very true, but perhaps they don’t wish to be found” replied her mother whilst unpinning a pendant from her chest and placing it on the table beside her “I’ve heard they’re rather fierce.” “Yeti only look fierce. They probably don’t like being so cold all the time. I shouldn’t like it either” “You never have to be cold, my Lara, if you don’t want to be” she said stroking her daughter’s hair. Lara’s gaze diverted out of the plane’s window, where a white flash caught her attention.
“Look!” Lara yelled out as the cabin started shaking and they were thrown from their seats.
“Karen! What’s happened?” Lara’s mother asked as she tried to regain her balance.
 Lara made her way to the window to get a better look as the pilot told her mother to stay seated. The left engine had exploded and the flames were spreading.
“Mayday, mayday….This is Bravo Tango Two Two Niner…we’ve lost our portside engine…trying to get cross feeds open”
 Amelia made her way to her daughter who was still staring out the window, she took her arm and pulled her back into a seat and buckled the belt quickly. Only then did she secure herself into a nearby seat. “Are we going to crash?” Lara asked her mother.
 “Not unless it’s absolutely necessary” Amelia replied keeping her voice even and trying to give Lara a reassuring smile.
 The panicked pilot continued her transmission “starboard engine non-responsive……stabilizer jammed, kicking rudder…losing altitude…we’re going full nose down…” “Close your eyes, darling” Amelia told Lara in a sincere tone. “No I don’t want to close my eyes….” Lara replied staring at the cock-pit, waiting for the impact, waiting for the glass to shatter, waiting for the water to rush into the plane and slowly sink it to the bottom of the ocean.... She saw the glass shatter……then everything faded into darkness. Lara was making another arduous climb up a mountain side, this time in Bolivia.

“You know I think you forgot your climbing gear on purpose” Zip told her through her ear piece.
 “What would give you that idea?” Lara replied smiling as she hugged the cliff face. The ledge Lara was on started to crumple beneath her as she grabbed a quick handhold “Really Zip, it’s like going up a set of stairs, only far less boring” “Yeah well I wanna throw up every time you look down” he replied watching her video feed.
Alistair walked into the tech room with Zip.
“Hey Alistair’s back! Grab a headset”
 “Back so soon.....from Florence wasn’t it?” Lara asked as a gust of wind passed her, causing static on the mics. “Decided on Genoa at the last minute. My dissertation will never see daylight at this rate, but never mind that. What are you doing in Bolivia?” Alistair asked.
Lara lept for a nearby edge, and cut it pretty close. “Ascending” she replied.
Lara finally reached the top of the mountain and hauled herself up.
 “Alistair, meet Tiwanaku. She’s a lovely pre-Incan civilization, currently in ruins”
