Welcome to the second chapter of the Young family legacy, here are our two heirs as we left them, Will on the left and Liam on the right. I apologise in advance if I make any typing errors. Thanks for reading the first chapter I hope you enjoy this one too!

Aww look Will and Katy seem to be getting on, who knows where it could lead once he turns into a teenager. I don't think Will knows how to impress girls, because splashing in a puddle really shows just how mature he is doesn't it? It seems those rain puddles are just too much of an temptation, he wouldn't stop splashing in it. He's going to end up with a cold, look how wet he is, stupid kid! Oh and look at that the dialgo turns up Will has got a cold, now he's going to spread it to the entire family, grr! I think she tired herself out with all that working out. Liam needed some aspiration points so I invited Janey Brote round whom he met when I was playing the Brote family. She could also turn into a future wife for him if I decide to make him a spare, which has a good chance of happening considering his personality points. Aww I love it when they hug their parents when they come back from work, some simmers find it annoying but I think it's cute. Anyway Jack gets promoted to Junior Officer, who'd have known getting Jack's recruits to march with baguettes would have secured him a promotion. I don't think he's that happy about it though, he didn't even do the typical "hands in the air - look at how great I am" action. Mother and son bonding, and Jack trying to find that oh so important Job in the medicine career. I'll be glad when she gets a job in the medical career, the body points required for the military is ridiculous. "Raindrops keep falling on my head"
Great now she's singing in the shower, you know since I have seasons that could bring on some rain. Anna finally pays some attention to the new cat, Jack's best friends with him, but Anna's more interested in Amber. Catching fire flies - it doesn't seem to be Liam's strong point Meet Rudy the infamous Leader of the Pack of wolves, I always find it funny that when I want to see the LOTP I never see him but when I'm trying to get a legacy started I do, that's just typical, grr! Aww love, I would say young love but they're middle aged so you cannot really call it that. But you could call it Young love - get it? Ok I'll leave the lame jokes alone. Promotion time again, both of them are now Counter Intelligence. Good time too as now we can finally get the house ready for the future heir. I'm not really sure what Jinx is doing, maybe he's chasing butterflies? Here's the new kitchen, built on next to the staircase, note the fire alarm, I got fed up of fires when they tried to cook, and they finally have a nice table, with matching chairs. Here's the living room, with carpet it looks a bit more homely, I've also moved some furniture around and sold the old couch for a more comfortable couch Here's the new pet corner, hopefully that should stop Jinx stealing Amber's bed. Being new to this legacy stuff I forgot about the important portraits, so I've finally got them an easel. Here's the outside of the house now with the new rooms. Jack gets right onto painting Anna's portrait "Woo look at me, I got an A+, mum? dad?"
I don't think they're listening, poor kid, Jack's too busy coughing with the flu, which he got through his other son Will. There you go Liam, Jack's finally happy for you, he's cheering, I'm afraid your mum doesn't seem that bothered though. Everyone I play in my sims neighbourhood seems to bring at least one Brote kid home, in this house they bought two, here's Gavin, bought home from school with Will, earlier on George Brote, Gavin's brother came home with Liam but I missed that picture. A family that skills together, stays together. Sorry couldn't resist that saying hehe. And more skilling. Anna teaches Will to study.

Well least they are actually looking at him , but Jack is too busy painting Anna's portrait to respond.

Do I detect a hint of sibling rivalry? For your information Will, they didn't stop what they were doing to cheer for Liam either

Poor kid doesn't seem to realise not everything is about him getting an A+ Lots of painting later and we see actual progress on the painting, which is now nearly finished. For some strange reason Jack painted the wrong screenshot the first time, see you can see it on the wall. Headmaster getting the tour, I decide to finally try to get the kids into private school, after both parents kept throwing up the want, I couldn't ignore it any longer. So far so good, we seem to be doing well, he seems to like talking to Anna, he kept leaning over and talking to her throughout the entire dinner. There's Jack getting his well earned 8,000 aspiration points because the kids got into private school, we scored a total 0f 106 points. The spaghetti bolognaise went down well giving 31 points for the food. Nothing like a game of catch to celebrate, or "drop" as Liam keeps dropping the ball, anyone who's seen "Click" the movie will get what I mean.
* sorry that it's a bit dark, I forgot to add lights Aww look at them playing, two natural born enemies who get on so well with each other apart from when Jinx steals Amber's beds, then they fight... well like cat and dog. Woo! Finally the medical career job was on the computer, so now Jack is finally on his way to reaching his lifetime want. I cannot get Anna to change careers yet because if she does she will end up at the bottom of the career ladder because of her lack of logic skills and I am not working her all the way up from the bottom, no way. There he is heading off to his first day of work in the medical career There's Jack back, oops I completely forgot about Liam growing up, the headmaster's visit drove it out my mind. Hmm he's not bad looking. Here's a close up, he definetely has his dad's mouth, they're like two peas in a pod. Liam rolled Family with brown hair and makeup as his turn-ons and stink as his turn off. Family's a good aspiration I like that, you always get quite nice life time wants, one's that take an entire lifetime to complete but least it's better than Romance. Wow look at Garrett's mouth, that looks so similar to Liam's! If I didn't no any better I'd swear she had an affair with him. Anna tries to salvage the party because Liam grew up before I got him to the cake, I forgot to throw a party yesterday because of the headmaster visit, oops. Oh it didn't work, it still ended up a disaster, strange it did say it was a good time, maybe there's no getting round the fact that the candles were not blown out, so therefore the party became a disaster, oh well. Liam gets himself a scholarship thanks to his good grades, that's $1,000 towards Uni. Why do sims dance without music? Anyway cute sibling interaction There haven't been any pictures of Amber in this chapter so here she is being commanded to rollover by Will

"Woof" Now I know where Will gets his splashing in puddles from. He's being just as silly as well, splashing in his underwear is not a good idea. I love seasons, I always forget the bills that my sims put places without me knowing where they put them, but with the "pay all bills" option that never happens Another promotion, now she's working on getting more cleaning skills so that she can get a job in the medical career without it being at the bottom Liam doing his pile of homework, I never get why when he's a teenager he still has to do the homework that was set when he was a child. Hehe this always amuses me, Will's teaching Amber to play dead so she can get a promotion in the showbiz career, I decided that some more money into the house is not a bad thing so I got her a job. Now that's just mean gossiping about your son, and even worse he's in the same room I'm amazed how mean sims can be, that's a bad memory for Liam but she has to go and dredge it up in front of him, it wasn't his fault it turned into a disaster it was her party, she threw it, so therefore her fault. Jack gets Jinx a job in the security career. "Help! put me down!" - Ok Jinx cannot really speak, but wouldn't you be saying that if you were thrown up into the air? Finally evening comes and Will's turn to become a teenager, note the blue balloons, these turn up if you throw a party then place the balloons and change colour according to the gender of the person who's birthday it is. Blow those candles out Will! "Oo it tickles"
I wouldn't know myself I'm not a sim, just get a move on and grow up! Why do they always look at their hands?

You'd never guess that your hands would grow as you get older, would you? Here he is, try not to look at his mouth too much, it will scare you. Will rolled Fortune, thank god he did not roll anything too difficult as long as he does not want to run a business me and him will get on fine. In case you did not know from the first chapter I prefer Will to Liam as heir. Anyway Wil likes Blonde hair & brown hair (hmm can't seem to make his mind up) and fatness turns him off. I gave Will a makeover, that hair was not going well with his mouth, now he has hair likes his father, well if he insists on having the same face as his father, he might as well have the same hair style. Liam's Lifetime want is to become Captain Hero, so to help him with the dreaded skilling in his later life, I have got him the teen job in the Law Enforcement career which is as a parking lot attendant Working out to get a promotion.

Now be nice I know you only have one nice point but moaning will not get those body points any quicker now, will it?
He's so much like his mother, she hates working out as well.
Those two still can't leave each other alone. I hope they're still like it when they become old. Will works on getting his first kiss

Finally Liam gets his two body points. Oo look at that she likes him, she's practically gone all gooey eyed over him and he has 2 bolts with her, I like it when they have chemistry, it makes it so much easier when it comes to getting him his first kiss. Oh no rejection, what did he do wrong? I think he needs to consult the tips for love, see thepiepers5's Th'a Simple Life Legacy and you'll see what I mean. "You're so pretty"

Please pass the puke bucket, these two are just too soppy for me. Off goes Liam to his first day of his teen job. Now Will gets himself a job, the law firm receptionist job is prefect for him as he wants to reach the top of the Law Career. Here's Rosie Wellard, she bought WIll home from school with her when I played her family as she also is in private school, so I thought why not, she can be his first kiss, they get on really well when they chat on the phone "Hey Rosie, how are you?"

"No problem I always like to see you." Way to go Liam turn on the charm just like your brother, well she seems to be falling for it just like Katy did for Will. Now that's the quickest crush I've ever seen, it only took one flirt from being friends, maybe the 2 bolts of chemistry has something to do with it though, not sure how he has 2 for her as she has custom hair not brown hair. And there's her crush back, wow these 2 are so compatible, shame that if he becomes heir he won't be able to go with her as she's not an NPC. Is my ploy to try and get Will as heir working? No? Off to college they go, here's Katy grown up as a young adult, she seems to like Will, so if he becomes heir he can go with her I believe as she was an NPC, and if Liam becomes heir I will have to find someone for him either at Uni or when he's an adult. Next to grow up is Will, that outfit will be changing.

I really think sims need to look more in the mirror, I would not call him hot, he's not ugly but definetely not hot, anyway lets see how Liam turns out. And here's Liam, his outfit will also be changing.

Yeh ok if you say so but I don't think in that t-shirt you do. I don't where his biceps have come from though, he's not even fit. Oh no Liam, you're not meant to fancy Katy, and doing that action in front of your brother what are you thinking. I can see Uni life with these three will never be without it's fun.
Right so I'm gonna leave it here, for you to decide finally who the heir will be. Will it be Will who wants to reach the top of the law career? Or maybe Liam who wants to be a Captain Hero. I'm gonna try and get a poll set up on boolprop.com like most legacy writers do, so you can vote there, or you can post it in my guestbook.
I'll also leave you with these questions, will Anna finally get a job in the medical career? Will Jack reach the top of the career before his wife Anna does? I'm sorry that I couldn't put the Uni years in this chapter but doing so would have made it too long, so that will be in chapter 3 instead. All comments & feedback appreciated. Happy simming! :)
