i submitted this during Christmas and forgot to check on it...
i was so careless! i placed something NOT RIGHT...
and so this chapter was returned...

So this is the next chapter of He's my Master, She's my Maid...

last chapter, Aerith or Annie was fired by her master, Alexander.
She was fired with no concrete reason given.

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN TO EVERYONE!!

wasabichi <3 “What? You’re firing me?” “Isn’t it clear?” he answered, “now get out of my house…” “No… no, I won’t! unless you gave me a rightful reason regarding this.” She insisted; her voice was raised. “Who are you to order me?” his voice was stern.

“I’m your maid” she answered strongly.

“You’re JUST my maid… now, get out… or I’ll get the police.”
 It has been 10 hours since she was fired. That evening, she slept on the park bench. Good thing she had a little money with her, money given by Lora and not the master. She utilized this to feed herself. She must find a new job. “Lora… I’m sorry.” She thought.

“Well… we meet again.” A familiar voice said.
 “Ms. Annie Laurie.” Daniel said.

“Mr. Wagon!” Aerith was startled.

“It’s Calgon… and please call me Daniel. So, what are you doing here, looking so devastated?” Daniel giggled.
 “I was fired last night…”

“You’ve been here since last night?”

Aerith nodded in reply. “I.. I… ACHOO!” she sneezed.
 “You caught an evil visitor… a cold.” He smiled irresistibly.

“Crabsticks!” she thought. Her face was flushed.

“Your face is red… you must have fever too!”

“Nah! I’m okay!”
 “No you’re not… why don’t you come to my house? You need to be warm… it’s cold and polluted out here.”

“WARM?” she flushed.

“what about it?” he asked.

“Well… I… I…”

“I insist…” he smiled.

“crabsticks!” she thought.
 “This is my humble home… Please make yourself at home.”

“Yeah… sure…” she’s still nervous. “You live alone?”

“Yeah… my parents are living next town… Actually they transfer from town to town.”
 “Why aren’t you with them?” she asked.

“I hate travelling.” He gave her a cup of hot chocolate.

“Really?” she sipped.

“Really…”
 “By the way… I guess I still can’t pay you.”

“Don’t worry about that.”

“But I promise… I will pay you soon… soon…” she told him. He smiled in return.

“You trust people easily, don’t you?”
 “Huh?” she was perplexed.

“You came here without hesitating… You must trust me.”

“You insisted…”

“But still… you had a choice.”

“CRABSTICKS! YOU’RE GOING TO...” she fell down from the chair.
 He laughed loudly, “Whatever you're thinking, it's not like that, silly!” he helped her stand up.

She flushed, “STOP LAUGHING!”

“I am your friend and I won’t hurt you but remember Annie, this is the city, you
can’t easily trust anyone.” His tone was serious.

“Friend?”

“Aren’t we friends?”
 “Can I… trust you?” she asked.

He smiled, “What do you think?”
 “Can I not trust you yet?”

He giggled, “Yes…”

“But I’ll regard you as friend…” she added.

He nodded.

“Yet I don’t trust you… it’s weird.” She said.

“You’re funny Annie… you’re adorably funny!” he smiled.
 “I won’t force you to trust me… it’s something I must gain, right?” he added.

She smiled.

“Let me lead you to your room… you need rest.”
 “You can lock the door if you want to… Rest well, princess.” He greeted and went away.

“He’s too much of a charmer… “ she yawned and slept.
 A week passed.
The Martins’ residence was very silent.
 “Good afternoon, sir.” Lora greeted.

Alexander looked at her for a moment and continued on his way. He was used to meeting Annie everyday at the corridor. He was used to seeing her smile at him amidst his sternness.
“Pardon us sir but the meal we can make for you is only this sandwich.” Lora said.

“What? Make something else…”

“I’m afraid sir, we can’t. We lack ingredients and we don’t know how to cook another dish with the limited available ingredients. It’s because we lost someone who’s really good at kitchen duties.” Lora added.

“I’m not eating…" he walked away.

Then he remembered before Annie came, he always ate at restaurants because his servants weren’t good cooks for him.
 “I wonder how my friends are doing? The master is really demanding in terms of his food.”Aerith said as she cooked.

“So, you’re the cook in that household?”

“Not really… but he always asked me for his meals.”
 “Your master lost something very valuable then.” He said as he ate Aerith’s dish.

She smiled, “Hope you enjoy my simple dish.”
 3 weeks passed.

Aerith was still on Daniel’s place. Perhaps she found a new job. She cooked his meals for him.
 “Lora… Why didn’t you wash my car?”

“Wash…? Oh! Sorry master! You didn’t tell me earlier.” Lora answered.

“Is it still necessary?” he got madder.

“Well, young master, pardon me but Lora is not used to that. You never asked her to wash your car. You never asked us. You always bring it to a car shop… and as I remember, it was Ms. Laurie who washed your car when she was still here.” Mr. Adams said.

He was pissed off, “You two, WASH MY CAR!”
 “Hey! Good morning!” Aerith greeted.

“Hello, Annie!”

“What are you doing?”

“Getting ready to wash my car.”

She paused for a while, “Let me do it.”

“What?”

“I wash cars when I was still at my master’s house.”

“Is that so? Well, you’re in mine and not his now. Instead of getting yourself messy over here, why don’t you just go strolling for a while?”
 “I miss my folks back there…” she thought as she walked.

“Lora…

Mr. Adams…

My monstrous master…

I wonder how they’re doing now. Did they hire a new maid?”
Back in the Martins’ residence, the same line repeated around the house.

That was Annie’s job sir.

You never asked us that. But you did ask Ms. Laurie.

Only Annie can do that.

It’s Annie’s!

Annie!

Annie!

Alexander was pissed off.
“Find me a new maid.” He ordered.
 2 months passed. Aerith with all her might, decided to make a special call. “Hello. This is the Martins’ residence. May I know who’s speaking?”

“Hello? Is this Lora? It's me.”

“Annie?”
 “How are you? We miss you so much!” Lora said enthusiastically.

“I’m doing good… I found a new job accidentally. So how are you?”

“Not that good since you left.”

“What do you mean?”
 “We’ve been hiring several maids since you left and all didn’t last even for 3 days.”

“Seriously?”

“Nobody can compare to you, Annie. I know this is selfish but please… come back.”

“O Lora… I miss you guys too. But…”
 “Is it the master?”

“I can handle his immatureness but…”

“But what?”

Aerith sighed, “I can’t leave Daniel… I owe him too much.”
“You don’t” Daniel said.

“DANIEL!” she was surprised that she immediately dropped the phone.

“You miss them… I can sense it.”

“Daniel…I... I...” she stuttered.
 “You don’t owe me anything. In fact, I owe you. I owe you a lot. You can go back. But if he will do the same thing again, I swear I won’t give you back to him.”

“Thank you… You’ve been very kind even though I’m a stranger… I keep on wondering why.”

“Well, that’s simple.” He went near her. “Come closer so that I can tell you the answer…” he added.

“Okay…” she went closer.

Then, he whispered. “It’s because I like you.”

She flushed.
 “STOP TALKING NONSENSE MR. CALGON!”

He laughed heartily, “You finally got my surname right!”

She giggled at first then laughed.
 “Just go back here if you need another home… See you around, Annie.” Daniel bid goodbye.

“See you around, Daniel.”
“Is my car ready, Mr. Adams?”

“Yes sir… but, there is no office today, right?”

“I’m going out for a while... just to cool down”
 “Well… don’t OVERWORK yourself…”

“What was that Mr. Adams?”

“You know young master, tons of stress and tension wrap this house…”

“What?”

“We do need a bright smile once in a while to clear things up, don’t you think?” Mr Adams grinned.

“Stop talking nonsense…” he walked away.
It’s already dark and she’s still walking along the street. She can’t find the subway or an available taxi. She’s a little bit hungry too and she can’t find a near food station. “Who would have thought that this city would be this huge.”

“Hey! Hey!” two men approached her.

“crabsticks… this is no good!” she thought.
 “Hey miss, you got time yo?” one of them asked. “We're going to partay! Wanna join us?”

“You don’t have a man with you so we assume you’re available for us tonight!” the other one added.

“for you? SERIOUSLY! GET LOST!” she shouted. But she was trembling. “Leave her alone.” a voice said.
“Who’s there?” the three chorused.

An image from the darkness appeared. It was Alexander.
"She's with me..."

“sorry bout that! ” the two men, too afraid, ran away.
"Guess we'll see you later!" “MASTER?!” she freaked out.

“You…” he dragged her and pushed her inside the car.

“Let me out of this cart!” she added.

“CART? Wait a minute there you! You’re not going anywhere.”

“What?”

“I’m taking you back with me.”

“What?” she was surprised. “Why on earth would you…”
 “I need you.” He answered.

She was surprised, “you …need… me… Are you drunk or something?”

“STUPID WOMAN! I mean I need your service… and your comrades are moping around me like crazy! I can’t stand it.” He reasoned.

She giggled. “Yeah right!”

“What are you laughing about?”

“I was preparing myself to face your wickedness. I want my job back. Then, here you are, taking me back without me begging… Thank you Master…” she smiled.

He flushed, “Don’t smile annoyingly at me! Do you want to beg in front of me now?”

She laughed. “No sir!”

He on the other hand was trying his best not to laugh with her. “Silly woman…” he murmured.
 “ANNIE!” Lora greeted.

“Welcome back, Ms Laurie!” Mr. Adams added.

“I missed you guys!” Aerith answered.
 “Quit all that drama and make me some food.” The master yelped. “I’m hungry and I want EDIBLE food.”

“Yes, master!” Aerith smiled. Mr. Adams and Lora chuckled.
 “For a while back there… he was my knight and shining armor, then he became the monstrous beast… but I really am enjoying this rollercoaster ride.” Aerith giggled as she thought about such. “Soon enough… I’m going to tame you, my master!”

    Yay, Fist one to comment. Ohhhh your story really is entertaining me. Aerith is a very energetic and funny woman \:D She even called Daniel Mr. Wagon lol. I'm confused where to side, is it on Daniel's or Alexander's? They're both so cool. They both are the exact opposite to each other. Its like I want them both for Aerith/Annie. For a second, I like Daniel much better than Alexander but when Alexander saved her and when he was trying to suppress his laugh, I like him too. I know Alexander has a soft side and Annie/Aerith will be the instrument to let that out \:rah\:

    Congrats on the feature \:rah\: I love how Annie is always smiling and giggling.. she does seem to be a light in Alexander's world. Daniel's confession was so cute \:wub\: I loved how Alex popped out of nowhere and saved her. She is going to tame her master, little by little \:D
