This is a story. It may be typical. But thats exactly why its called "Someones Life" It tells SOMEONES story, SOMEWHERE. At school the next day, Hikari sat in class wondering what she was doing wrong
"UGH! I just cant do it!" She whisper-yelled and threw her pencil down in anger. She thought it would be easy since she went over this already at her old school. But she sucks at algebra.
 "Hikari!" Mrs. Minx called, "Will you please stay after for a bit?"
"Sure." Hikari groaned not having a choice.
"Good luck" Said Aiden
"Thanks" Hikari mumbled. "So," Mrs. Minx began, "Have you been having fun here?"
"Yeah, I guess."
"Have you made an friends?"
Hikari smiled, "Yeah"
"From this grade?"
"no."
"This... school?"
"no."
"oh."
"Bye Mrs. Minx" And she ran out of that school before Mrs. Minx got a chance to tell her what she wanted to tell her. After stopping at the mall Hikari dropped her bags in her room and inhaled deeply.
"I wonder what his last name is?" Hikari wondered aloud about Derick. "This will drive me nuts!"
 "What honey? Who are you talking to?" Molly, Hikari's mom asked.
"Well, do you know a boy named Derick? My age?"
"Um...No. OH! black hair?"
"Yeah!" Hikari said not trying very hard to mask her excitement.
"Yes I know him. I work with his father. I don't approve of that boy. Suddenly, Hikari got that feeling she usually does before her and her mom fight. The pain in her stomach. The pain she never got when dad was there.
"MOM! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MET HIM!"
"I know his family enough to know he's no good."
"OH HO! If were judging on family then I must be a little Satan then!"
"Well your hair doesnt help!"
"ARE WE REALLY BACK ON THE HAIR SUBJECT?!" I WILL CHANGE IT AS MANY TIMES AS I WANT AND ILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!" Hikari wailed.
"WERE DONE HERE!"
 Just to prove her point, Hikari dyed her hair once again. She didnt know what she was trying to prove but she didnt know what to do.
"I wonder how I can get his num- Ill just steal it from moms address book when shes gone to work. Why do I feel like my life has become one big predictable, drama-filled Lifetime movie all of a sudden?!" 3 DAYS LATER~
Hikari thought, "Ever since that fight moms been pretty distant lately. I wonder if I really hurt her that bad. Shes been going out and coming home later and later."
Hikari felt bad. Suddenly, As if she had heard her Molly walked in and hugged Hikari.
"What?" Hikari asked in a monotone, forgetting the moment of guilt
"Nothing," Molly whispered, "i just... Im sorry.
"Oh." Was all Hikari could say. -That night-
Outside Molly met with a strange man.
"Evan!" Molly shreiked, "What are you doing here?! Hikari is home!"
"Sorry," Evan smiled, "I just needed to see you before i went to bed"
"Ok! Now go." Molly smiled.
 The next night Molly went out late again and when she came home she took Evan with her to say goodnight.
"I have a daughter." Evan said. "Shes 16 like Hikari"
"Really?" Molly asked.
"Maybe they can meet soon"
Molly's smile faded, "Yeah....soon." After Evan left Hikari walked out.
"Mom." Hikari called
"Mom!" Hikari called again
"MOM!"
"shh!!" Molly snapped, "People are sleeping!"
"Who was that man?"
Molly had to think fast, "UH, Jehovah's Witness!!
"Oh-kayyyy." Hikari said, "Crazy woman." She mumbled. One night Hikari walked in on Molly and Evan hanging out they thought Hikari would be at the mall all day.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
"Hikari I- IM SORRY!"
"WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!?"
"You werent supposed to find out like this!"
"WAS I SUPPOSED TO WAIT TILL YOU HAD 5 KIDS AND WERE DIVORCED?!"
"We arent married!"
"THAT MAKES IT WORSE!" "YOU JUST COULDNT WAIT TO GIVE UP ON DAD, COULDNT YOU?!"
"You know your father walked out on us!"
"NO HE DIDNT! YOU DROVE HIM OUT WITH YOUR CONSTANT DRINKING!"
Molly was silent. She knew her daughter was right. Instead she ran out of the room
 "WHY CANT I BE A GOOD MOTHER?!" Molly wailed.
"its not your fault!" Evan said
"Huh?"
"You know it isnt. shes just a bad kid she doesnt know she has a great mom."'
Molly was silent. She didn't know what to believe anymore. The next day, Hikari sat by the pool thinking of revenge on Evan.
"hey Babygirl"
"You cant be on th- DERICK!"
Hikari jumped out of the seat like it was on fire. "HI DERICK!" Hikari yelled.
"Hi Hikari." Derick laughed.
"You know my name?" She smiled shyly
"Well my dad told me your name and where you live" Derick said. Hikari lost it
"OH MY GOSH I MISSED YOU I MEAN I DONT REALLY KNOW YOU BUT MY MOMS IS HORRIBLE AND SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND AND I JUST MISSED YOU AND-"
"Hikari!" Derick laughed, "Lets go out and we can talk about it, ok?"
"Ok" Hikari smiled "So, tell me about your mom"
"Well, i walked in on my mom and her secret boyfriend while they were making out." Hikari looked down.
"Im so sorry. Is there anything i can do?" Derick asked.
"You already are." Hikari smiled
"I know! Lets have a Halloween party!"
"YES AND LETS PLAN IT TOMORROW!"
"Ok." The next day Hikari and Derick met secretly at her house and sat down.
"LET THE PARTY PLANNING COMMENCE!" Hikari said.
"Yes ma'am!" Derick responded And so for the next 3 hours they planned everything and never took their eyes off of eachother.... DING DONG! the bell rang. It was the night of the party and Derick just arrived.
Hikari opened the door.
"Hey Derick!" Hikari's eyes lit up.
"H-Hikari?"
"yeah" She laughed. "You look um, really, uh, good." Derick smiled
"Thanks. I have never heard you at a loss for words before."
"Yeah. I know. Why did you dress up?"
"I felt festive!"
"Oh. Well its Halloween and it isnt a costume but that doesnt mean it isnt good-"
"Derick?"
"Yeah?"
Hikari smiled "Lets go inside and talk to everyone!"
"Ok" Derick smiled. Derick didn't know anyone but that didn't stop him from talking to every one.
"So you think its going well?" Hikari asked.
"Yeah definitely. You're the Party Goddess!"
"PRAISE ME!" Hikari said and they both lost it.
Until they heard the wail of police sirens
 The officer walked in.
"Whos responsible for the noise?!" He commanded
Hikari stood up. All eyes were on her and she loved it
"Do you realize we got 10 noise complaints because of this?"
Hikari smirked, then bowed. Every one looked at her with admiration
"BREAK IT UP!" He barked.
Everyone but Derick left.
"Raging party!" Someone said
"EPIC!"
"Dude, I thought the cop would recognize me..." "Wow, you were just different back there." Derick said.
"I dont know what came over me! It was actually pretty funny so I didnt want to be serious. Also I think it was an adrenaline rush, not like off Twilight but more like an excitement ru-"
"Hikari?"
"Yeah?
"Do you ever stop talking?" And with that Hikari finally shut up. Derick smiled and then left. He knew Hikari would want to be alone for some reason. Thats how the Outcast got her first kiss from the boy she knew she loved. Who is Kiri and who does this girl think she is?!
Why do the girls all want Derick!?
