Prologue: My name is Popinjay Eavesdropper, I am the town cryer. I have been invited, unofficially of course, to introduce the two key families in Whispering Willow Woods, and to fully explain the origins of this peculiar place. As the town cryer I take great pride in the accuracy of my story. The town was established by the Wizard Wormwood, over 100 years ago. As the legend goes, the wizard craved knowledge. He would lock himself in his lair for days, studying from his wizard sacred texts. After sometime, his isolation lead to paranoia. Wizard Wormwood, began to imagine that the townspeople were dissatisfied with his leadership. It was underneath his favorite willow tree, that it occurred to him what spell to cast. This is when his plan took an unusual twist, the wizard decided to use dark magic, so that all willow trees would be capable of spying on all the townspeople. As his loyal subjects the trees would then report back to Wizard Wormwood what they had seen and heard in the towns square. The wizard waited until nighttime, then wandered into the nearbye woods. He began his spell rituals.
Wormwood, went right to work, first he had to resurrect his four wizard mentors. He explained to his mentors the dark magic spell he had cast on all willow trees in town. Then Wormwood, began to ask them specific questions about dark magic, so that he could cast rare spells on any of the townspeople that displeased him. His four mentors: Wizard Rotwood, Wizard Ghoulish, Wizard Worthouse, and Wizard Comeuppance,
gladly shared their deepest secrets. They broke open the wizard sacred texts, so that there would be no confusion on Wormwood's part.
He must make the townspeople's lives dreadful, and his four mentors, completely approved of his devilish plan. Wizard Wormwood, became so overwhelmed he broke down and cried tears of great joy. Finally I will have my revenge on these arrogant and ignorant people! Now, this is where those key families I mentioned earlier come in. The 'House of Avalon' a human household, and the 'House of Elysian' an elf household. Each family had remarkable gifts and strengths. The Avalons had developed great warrior skills and the Elysians had exceptional woodcraft knowledge. Both families were needed to defeat and banish the evil Wizard Wormwood from Whispering Willow Woods. But only one family could rule over the kingdom. I just need to get myself a quick snack this story makes me very hungry. Since, there were more humans living in Whispering Willow Woods, it was decided that the first king of the new kingdom should be Louis of Avalon. The elves, deprived of the monarchy, grieved their loss. Though difficult at times, King Renauld of Avalon, a direct descendant of Louis of Avalon, has been successful in maintaining peace in the land. He now seeks a permanent peace treaty between the elves and humans. King Renauld hopes, by arranging a royal marriage contract between his oldest son Louis II and Princess Bailene of Elysian, all can live peacefully as one people.

\:wub\: Beautiful settings, interesting plot (what a witty idea of transforming that cheap haloween decoration into four mentors!), I can't wait to see the elves - I ADORE elves!!! I like the idea of the one main person speaking, and whatever happens takes place amongst the history he's talking about, it is a hiatorical pararel, and makes you think a bit! Thanks again, I can't wait for the next chapter!
