Belladonna was heart-broken. One day she had everything she ever wanted. The husband of her dreams, the home of her dreams, and best of all, the daughter of her dreams. The next day it was gone. As she stood in Hermia’s bedroom, a flood of sadness washed over her. There was no Magick to rid her of this pain.

As she stood in Hermia’s bedroom, a flood of sadness washed over her. There was no Magick to rid her of this pain. She had to leave this room, NOW! Robert was devastated as well. He thought he had the wife of his dreams. He knew she had Fae blood in her, but he didn’t know she was a witch. And to find out that he was not Hermia’s real father! How could Bella do this to him? How could she live with such secrets? There was nothing to do but confront her, he had to. Was there anything else she was hiding? He needed to know. “Bella, you have some explaining to do.” “I trusted you and look what has become of our lives, our marriage, OUR daughter!” “Oh Robert, I know what I have done. I have ruined everything. I love you and Hermia more than anything in the world. I have so many regrets. Please forgive me. I promise to do everything I can to put our lives back together again. Anything! No more lies, no more witchcraft, I promise. Just please forgive me.” “Bella, I cannot imagine life without you. Hermia will be okay where she is. She should have the opportunity to know her real father, and we can visit. We can still be a part of her life. We will have more children. Children of our own. Lots of them. I love you so very much.” Bella and Robert began to put their marriage back together. There were some rough spots but it seemed as though life had given them a break. Bella was happy again. She talked with Hermia by phone every day. Hermia was doing well and learning the ways of the Fae. Bella and Robert managed to be happy with each other. They tried over and over to have a baby until finally there was no more talk of babies. It hurt too much. They spent their time together fishing... Going to the bistro… And sometimes to the beach. Their marriage was strained, though. They rarely did anything but talk in bed. Bella tried to keep her promise to Robert, but she had to do something. Witchcraft was all she knew. She also knew if she was going to do Witchcraft, she would have to be very sneaky about it. No more nectar, for Robert would surely be suspicious. No, it would have to be done in a very creative way. She consulted her Book of Shadows.
