"WHAT!?" Alicia said stunned, she walked away from him. " Marry me! I mean, now that I'm helping you I...want to be more of..." He stopped. " Okay, Viktor I don't have time...when I was out of my body I talked to Dumbledore again, but this time he told me that my motive for the big fight would be my children, things were different though..." She stopped, remembering her appearance. " I was a teen again, but there was something I missed from my past all this time...So I could probaly do it again! Last time I even became my past self. I think that the thing Dumbledor...grandfather was trying to tell me is that the key to all this is in the past." Alicia ranted. Viktor watched her, " You're so cute when you rant. I don't suppose I could persuade you not to go." he asked, not fighting her for the first time. She looked at him, " I know you want an answer to your question, but I can't give it to you know." Alicia said, walking away. Alicia sat criss-crossed and began to think of her past, then she was there!

Alicia said, walking away. Alicia sat criss-crossed and began to think of her past, then she was there! Alicia found herself in her third year. After the initial shock, she walked down the hall, hearing the commotion of the hall and she immediately knew what was going on, she was just joining Hogwarts. She'd just gotten there. he stepped inside Dumbledore's office and noticed Cornelius Fudge and Dumbledore talking. " Hello, Alicia." Dumbledore beamed. She hadn't noticed the way he smiled when he saw her before. Alicia took a step forward and said, " Hello, Professor Dumbledore, it's been so long! I've heard so many stories since I left...they say you're a hero." Alicia said, not dropping her guard. Fudge chuckled. " No...I don't have time for heroes." He said quickly." And I am Cornelius Fudge." Fudge said, extending his hand. Alicia looked toward his hand and reluctantly took it. " I was wondering if I could reschedule our little talk, as I have prior engagement." Dumbledore said, bowing. Alicia bowed and remembered this. This was the day when Buckbeak was supposed to be killed and that's why Fudge was there! This day is when everything really began to get sticky. " I can't...I shouldn't change the past, it's not good." Alicia said to herself. Once she stepped out, Professor McGonagall was there to escort her to the dorm. She unpacked her robes and things and decided that the skirt wasn't exactly what she had in mind for a proper outfit, so she took her jumper, a pair of her favorite pants and tennis shoes and began to roam the castle. She had grown over the summer and she came back late because with the escape of Sirius Black, the Order had forbidden her guardian to let her go anywhere by herself. Tonks, of course, had to come all the way to American and get her. Thanks to appration, they had gotten there faster than she'd thought possible. She noticed that there were so many kids inside and out. Most who were out were out by the lake, but there were groups everywhere. Alicia walked until she felt a tap on her shoulder. " Ummm, hello, right, I don't think I've seen you, ever." said a handsome boy she knew to be Cedric Diggory. " Yeah, I don't think we've met." Alicia said extending her hand, " I'm Alicia Veritum" she smiled. " I'm Cedric...aren't you Harry Potter's friend?" he asked. " Well, yeah, but that's not...is that why you're talking to me?" she asked, a little irratated. He threw his hands up, " No! No! I've noticed you before and I heard about the summer and how those pixies...and then the doxies...and of course the merpeople! I just haven't had the pleasure of meeting you!" Cedric gushed, then composed himself. Alicia smiled, then heard his friends. " Do you wanna come and hang out with my friends?" Cedric asked. " That would be great, but...I can't." She said. " No, it's okay...maybe some other time." he said, returning to his group. Alicia continued down to Hagrid's. Alicia stopped as she looked down and saw something that shocked her! Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sneaking from Hagrid's and as they ran up to the tunnel, she saw another Harry and Hermione take Buckbeak. Then she noticed that Harry, Ron and Hermione looked on, but knew that they thought that Buckbeak was being destroyed. She shook her head, then noticed that someone had shown up behind her. " Malfoy." Alicia said, coldly. " Hello, Alicia. I see you're finally back, now maybe we can start our relationship again." malfoy grinned. Alicia laughed, then said, " Wouldn't Pansy be mad...plus we never had a relationship." Alicia said, stopping to look at him. " We're both pure-bloods here..." Malfoy said, arrogantly. " You know, nowadays the only way you can be 'pure-blood' is if you had kissing cousins...or sibling. That would explain your father." Alicia grinned. Malfoy's face contorted and he stormed off. Alicia looked back at the trio, but they were gone and she decided to go back to the common room. Long after she'd connected with Lavender, Parvati, Seamus, Dean, and the others, they left and she was alone. She had gotten up to make sure the fire continued, so she poked at it. She whirled around when she heard the portrait open and in walked Harry and Hermione, carrying Ron. They almost dropped Ron when they saw her. " Bloody hell!" Ron shouted, getting up with their help. " Where've you guys been?" she asked, as though she didn't know. " It's a long story." Harry said. " How so?" Alicia asked. Then everything went black! "Alicia..." came a voice from a blurry form, " Cedric?" she asked in a shocked voice. Then he became visible...it all did! It was the night of the Yule Ball and she had been sitting there when Cedric followed her. He moved closer to her, " I would have liked to go to the Yule Ball with you, but...I really like you and when I get back from the third task, do you...would mind going to Hogsmeade with me when we go next time?" Cedric asked, turning red. Alicia looked at him shocked, it felt like the first time to her. She now remembered every word she would say. " Yeah, that'd be good. That'd be great! Look, Cedi, be careful. If something happens to you, I don't know if I could..." Alicia stopped as a pair of hands touched her face, " As long as you're waiting, I'll come back." Cedric said, kissing her. Alicia forgot for a minute, then he left and she remembered that no matter how sweet his words, he wasn't coming back. And she headed in to find Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but Neville told her that they'd left. She finally made it to the common room and saw Harry lighting a fire, Ron ranting and Hermione sobbing into her dress. " Are you okay?" Alicia asked her Hermione, casting an unnerving glance at Harry and Ron. " I'm alright...Are you?" Hermione said, noticing her clothes and hair looked ruffled. " I'm okay, I just...di you know what just happened?! Cedric just asked me out!" Alicia squealed. Ron sighed, " First Hermione is dating Viktor Krum and now you and Cedric...traitors." Ron said, making Alicia laugh. Hermione, however, did not! " Oh, Ronald, shut up! I didn't date him...okay, we went on a date, but that's it!" Hermione said irratably. Alicia watched as the two squared off against each other, noticing so many signs that Ron and Hermione would get together and she thought it was cute, annoying, but cute. Her eyes suddenly caught Harry, he smiled and she smiled back, then they both looked away. " I'm happy for you." Harry said reluctantly. " Really?" Alicia said, quietly hoping the answer was no. " No, but if had to be him, then that's good." Harry said. " Then who would you have me date?" Alicia smirked. Both chuckled and looked away yet again. " So many signs." she whispered to herself, but Hermione caught it. " What?" she asked. Alicia caught herself, " Nothing, I was just thinking aloud." Alicia said, smiling at them. Alicia sat at the bottom of the stairs waiting for Hermione and Ron to come down. " Hurry you guys! It starts soon!" she yelled after them. Before she could yell again, Harry came down. " Harry! You're supposed to be there already!" she said, shocked. " I know...but there's something I have to tell you. Alicia, I..." but he was interrupted. " Look, it can wait until after the third taks! Plus, Harry, could you help Cedric if...watch out for him, please." Alicia pleaded. Harry shook his head. " Now, get going! And be careful. You're my best friend and I love you." she said huggin Harry. He turned and left the room, then Hermione and Ron finally came down. Before they got very far, Cedric called out for them and they stopped. Alicia signaled them to go ahead and she stayed. " Hey! I just wanted to make sure that we're on for Hogsmeade." Cedric said, smiling. Alicia smiled, " Yeah, but you have to promise that you'll look after Harry...if something happens, I mean." Alicia said, trying not to disrupt the past. He kissed and was on his way again. She stood and watched him go, and knew that was the last time she'd kiss him and she tried to hold it in...to not slip. Alicia, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny sat in the crowd of people watching the the 4 champions go into the maze. She was shocked when a man walked up to her...he had some of Cedric's features and a smile that made her realize who he was. " 'Ello, I'm Amos, Amos Diggory. I'm Cedric's father and you must be Ron...Hermione and Ginny. And you dear, must be Alicia, I've heard so much about you! Cedric can't shut up about you, really. But I see why." Amos said, kissing her hand and moving past them and sitting by Dumbledore. That's when she noticed that Dumbledore had been watching and now winked at her. Suddenly, Harry and Cedric's body fell to the ground and people stood to applause! Alicia's stomach fell to the ground. She looked from Dumbledore to ground and began to cry. The next few days were unbearable and seeing the "poor girl" look made it sting even more. She walked alone to the assembly, to which she assumed was because of Cedric, and met Viktor Krum. He held out his hand, " Not sure we know each other yet, but I'm Viktor Krum. " Viktor said, having the same big accent he'd always had. " Hi, I'm Alicia Veritum Erodeldmud, but cut it to Alicia Veritum." Alicia said, stopping to notice the irony in that name...it was backwards! " Interesting...My condolescences for the death of your..." but he stopped as he noticed the look on her face. After a bit of small talk, they walked to the assembly. Alicia sat through the whole assembly, but she got tired of this whole thing...she'd heard it before and she didn't need to hear it again! Alicia got up to leave, with Harry and the gang looking after her. She got to the door and stopped as she heard something that hit her heart. " Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make the choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory!" Dumbledore's voice boomed. Alicia turned and looked him right in the eye. Professor McGonagall came to her and hugged her and she cried. It didn't matter that the whole school watched her, she didn't care, she just hurt! she had forgotten what it felt like...the pain. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and George, and Viktor came to her...They shared a group hug. After she'd said her goodbyes and the other schools had left, she watched Harry, Ron, and Hermione walk to the edge of a pillar and she saw them hug. Hermione talked as usual, while the guys nodded. Alicia turned to walk away, but heard footsteps and then felt a hand on her shoulders. She turned to see that it was Harry, " You didn't think that we'd just let you leave. Look, since the beginning of third year, you've been our best friend, helping us. You've closed yourself off, but you don't have to, you have friends." he finished. For a minute, they just stared at each other, but it was interrupted when Hermione and Ron walked up. " So, what do you guys want to do now?" Alicia asked. Ron and Hermione looked at each other, then at Harry and smiled, " I say we go to the library...but we should be getting back to the common room." Hermione suggested. They all looked at each other and shook their heads. " I've had enough books and research...no more dragons, mazes, or merpeople." Harry joked and they all argued and they walked away. She flew forward into a new year, her fifth year and the night when Dumbledore's Army would be put into effect. " You guys have lured Umbridge into the Forbidden Forrest?! And...They're waiting, but be careful! I should be going!" Alicia said, looking down. " You have to make sure Dumbledore knows where we are so he can alert the Order. We've got to go know!" Hermione urged, running to the Threstals. Ron and Harry turned to run, but she caught Harry's arm and kissed him. " Bloody hell! Am I next?" Ron blurted causing them to disconnect. Hermione came back and pulled Ron along with her, leaving Harry to gaze into Alicia's eyes. " Go." Alicia said, reluctantly letting them go. Harry ran after them and Alicia ran down to Umbridge...Dumbledore's office, but met with Pansy and Draco and their gang. " Where do you think you're going?" Draco taunted. " Yeah, you're not getting in here." Pansy said, smirking. " I don't have time for this." Alicia said, punching Pansy. Once Pansy got to her feet, with the help of Draco, they scattered. " Good to see that left hook is still good." she smiled, heading into the room. Upon entering the room, She saw Dumbledore and Fawkes. " Professor...they've gone to the ministry!" Alicia blurted. Alicia sat in the dormotory and heard the portrait slam shut and walked down to the common room to see Ron, and Hermione. They were crying, so she moved closer. " What's wrong...what happened at the ministry!" Alicia asked urgently, already knowing what was up. They'd gone to ministry, but she hadn't. She stayed behind to make sure that the order knew where Dumbledore's Army had gone. " He's dead!" Harry shouted, causing them all to jump, then the room began to fill with kids. " I'm gonna get her and him, if it's the last thing I do...Sirius...he's dead!" Harry blurted. Alicia looked at Ron, who was consoling Hermione. " I love you." Alicia said, leaning in to kiss him. On the next to last day of school, Alicia had recieved news that she was going back to America and she wanted to spend as much time with Harry as she could. She'd told Hermione that she'd be leaving, but she couldn't bear tell Harry or Ron. Alicia led him to the Forbidden Forrest, then stopped. " Harry, what if I left? What would...what..." Alicia tried to say, but couldn't get it out. Harry watched her in disbelief; He walked to her, " What about us?" Harry asked, trying to make sense of what he'd just heard. " You don't see what's going on? You're a bright wizard, and soon you'll get it." Alicia said, beginning to cry. They both went silen and just stared at each other, then Harry broke the silence, " If it's meant to be then...I know we're meant to be. We're magic." Harry gave a weak smile and kissed her. After a few minutes, she broke the kiss and left for Dumbledore's office. " How dare you!" Alicia shrieked through tears. Dumbledore and Fudge jumped as she made her way to the balcony. They had left the office and gone there for a breath of air. " I beg your pardon?" Dumbledore said, raising an eyebrow. " What in the hell would make you send me back to America...my friends are here, my life is here!" she ranted. " Do you know who we are, young lady?!" Fudge said angrily. " Shut it! I don't give a damn who you are!" Alicia shrieked. " STOP! Now you can leave with dignity or you can leave without it, in any case, you have to go...immediately!" Dumbledore said, standing. Alicia began towards the door, but stopped, " It was for you're own good." Dumbledore pleaded. " Yeah, well, I am going to figure out what secrets lie in your head. When I got here i pronounced you a hero...but you're not. I hope it all backfires." Alicia said, forgetting that she'd lived this before. She slammed the door and left, for what she thought was good. She was thrown ahead to the future, to the night Dumbledore met his end. She stood next to Dumbledore and Harry, then hid in the bushes, where they could not see. They both looked like they'd been through hell. She then turned her attention to the castle and something felt wrong! She didn't much pay attention to what Harry and Dumbledore said, but she quickly noticed the brooms flying at them. She looked down and remembered that's how she'd gotten there. They hopped on theirs and flew as fast as they could, but she noticed the sparks inside the castle...She remembered this, she had decided that she'd gone to see about the kids, but not this time! As she mounted her broom, she saw another her run to the castle and she was off! She flew as fast as she could! When she got there, she saw Dumbledore laying on the ground and Malfoy with his wand on Dumbledore, and they were talking. While listening to Malfoy's confessions, she heard a muffled moan and looked over. She remembered when she'd witnessed this before, it was Harry! The next thing she saw was Snape now standing before them all! Dumbledore begged him to not do it...at first glance it sounded like pleading, but now she notice that Dumbledore wanted this! An anger inside her exploded and she tried to punch Snape, but her hand went right through him and he waved his wand and a green light shot out at Dumbledore and knocked him over the tower and Snape and Draco fleed the scene. Harry emerged from the cloak and ran after him, but before Alicia could follow, she was back in the woods watching Harry and Dumbledore fly to the tower. She ran as fast as she could toward the castle and finally amde it! Once inside, she stopped at a huge battle taking place inside the castle! " Need help?" Alicia grunted, hexing a death-eater! " What're you doing here?! I thought..." Hermione said, ducking an attack by Bellatrix. " You think a bit too much!" Alicia said, noticing a big werewolf coming for them! She looked at Hermione and Hermione nodded and Alicia took off away from the battle and past a couple of first years! She ran to an empty class room and ran into someone she didn't believe she'd seen. " Father." Alicia sighed. " Alicia...you're growing into a beautiful, young girl. I was hoping I'd run into you." He said, his voice cold and low. " So I could kill you!" Alicia said. He laughed, " You...kill me, no my dear daughter, I want you to join me." He said, with a glint of hope. " Nah, not my style." Alicia said, growing more scared by the minute. " Well, then, I guess I'll have to kidnap you!" he said, then shouted, " Crucio!" and Alicia ducked Kids were now in the halls and she noticed that she had to get him away, especially since his specialty was kids and she ran by him. She ran back to the battle and lost him. When she reached the battle, she saw Snape run by with Draco! Then Harry ran by and looked at her as if he couldn't believe his eyes and Alicia nodded at Snape and Draco and he ran faster! She heard a scream and turned around, only to be knocked down by Fenrir! " You're father will be pleased to see you." Fenrir grunted, running a hand through her hair. Something in the sentence he had just uttered sent her off and she shouted, " Stupefy!" and Fenrir flew back against the wall! Suddenly, the Order came in and by that time, Bellatrix was gone...and Voldemort...they were gone. And she felt that same feeling as she flew through time once again! Alicia stood behind a corner, watching Harry, Hermione, and Ron make the pact...the one that they'd go with Harry to Godric's Hollow. Alicia looked back and saw what appeared to be Dumbledore's tomb. In her mind, Dumbledore's voice scream, " Don't do anything to change the past! Horrible things happen to wizards who change the past.". " But I'm a witch." Alicia said to herself, then stepped out to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. " I'm going too!" she said, making them jump. " I knew you were here." Harry said, casting Hermione a look that Alicia knew meant, "YOU LIED!" Alicia walked away with them, looking back at Dumbledore one last time.
